About: I grew up with two dogs that I was largely responsible for caring for and was frequently asked by friends and family to care for their pets after they observed my instincts and skills handling different pet behaviors. I live behind a wonderful park and have a fenced in yard. If your pet is social, they will have a blast at the dog park next door, if not we will enjoy walks through the beautiful woods of Belmont! I am currently on vacation from school and have a very flexible and open schedule that allows me to provide consistent care and attention to your fur baby! I am a musician and filmmaker and I work from home on my own time. I have a fenced yard and no pets! I live by myself in a spacious apartment that your pet will love! I am near many beautiful forests and next door to great fenced in dog park
“Angie did a fantastic job of taking care of my old kitty. She was very responsive and we really appreciate her alerting us to a potential issue for a pet that wasn’t her responsibility!”

About: I've had a dog (weimaraner) for most of my childhood, he was my buddy. I have boarded dogs at my house (senior rottweiler, pug, aussie, pitbull, red heeler) and walked neighborhood dogs (lab, border collie, goldendoodle) multiple times over the past 5 years, from adolescent to senior. I currently volunteer at a dog rescue, mostly with the thrift store but also spending time with the dogs. I truly enjoy having dogs around, I am not able to have my own at the moment and so I enjoy the time I get with dogs in need and neighborhood pets. I'm currently volunteering for 5 hours at a time, 2-3 days a week on Sunday and Monday, and I will be starting a job soon, so I will make sure to update my schedule once that is available to me. I can spend time with your dog all day when available to provide company, pets, and throw a frisbee in the yard, but I am also very comfortable taking dogs on long walks. I am pretty good about reading dogs' mannerisms and trying to adapt my activity based on their personality. If I'm new to a dog, I will try and make sure I do something with them they love to earn their trust.
“Allyson was top notch! Our younger dog immediately warmed up to her when she visited before our trip, which is a rarity for our younger dog. We knew right then our dogs would be in great, caring hands for the week we were away. Our older dog has daily medicine he takes orally and Allyson was comfortable giving it to him. Allyson was reliable, a great communicator, and went above and beyond her responsibilities. Allyson has a warm, caring personality and was sensitive to our dogs' needs. We will definitely have her care for our dogs again!”

About: I’m a lifelong animal lover and a proud pet parent with 16 years of experience caring for cats. Over the years, I’ve learned that every pet has their own unique personality, habits, and needs, and I truly enjoy building trust and making animals feel safe and comfortable. In addition to caring for my own cats, I have regularly helped friends with their dogs, including providing companionship, walks, playtime, and everyday care. I understand how important it is for pets to maintain their routines and feel loved while their owners are away. My background as a researcher has made me detail-oriented, responsible, and observant. I’m comfortable following specific care instructions, recognizing changes in behavior, and giving each pet the attention they deserve. Whether your furry friend is energetic, shy, older, or simply needs some extra love and company, I’m happy to provide patient and personalized care. I’ll treat your pets like my own and make sure they feel safe, happy, and cared for. I currently work from home, which allows me to have a flexible schedule and provide reliable, attentive care for your pets. I can dedicate time throughout the day for visits, walks, feeding, playtime, and companionship. I understand how important consistency and routine are for pets, so I’m happy to follow your pet’s usual schedule and provide the care and attention they need while you’re away. I enjoy making pet care part of my daily routine and helping pets feel comfortable, safe, and loved. I understand that inviting someone into your home and trusting them with your pets is a big responsibility. I treat every home with respect and follow your instructions carefully to keep your pets safe, comfortable, and stress-free. When caring for pets in their own home, I maintain their normal routines, including feeding schedules, playtime, walks, litter box care, and any specific instructions you provide. I pay close attention to their behavior and well-being so I can notice if something seems unusual. As a pet parent myself, I know how important it is for animals to feel secure in their familiar environment. My goal is to provide calm, reliable care and make sure your pets feel loved while you’re away.
“Sharon was really wonderful. She was so great with my kitty (who is blind!) and there were absolutely no issues. She was very attentive and clearly caring to my cat who really thrives on human connection and doesn't enjoy it when I leave. I came back to find my cat happy and reassured, which is surely Sharon's work. Sharon went above and beyond when I had an issue with the lock on my door and worked to find the best solution possible in the moment. I will absolutely be having Sharon come back and would wholeheartedly recommend her to anybody!”

“Peaches, my little old Yorkie, took to Jess immediately and they enjoyed a nice walk in the neighborhood. I appreciated her promptness in arriving on time, and her photo that she took of Peaches. Highly recommend!”

“Julia took great care of our cat! She is communicative, reliable, understood/followed all care instructions, and clearly an animal lover. We knew our cat was in good hands. Highly recommend Julia for your animal sitting!”

About: I’ve been around animals my entire life, especially dogs. I grew up with a family dog for 15 years and was always surrounded by dogs through friends and extended family, so caring for them has always come naturally to me. I have hands on experience with daily care, potty training, and understanding dog behavior, and I’m confident handling everything from high energy pups to more relaxed, older dogs. While my background is primarily with dogs, I bring that same attentiveness, patience, and reliability to caring for cats, making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for in their own space. Pet care fits well into my daily routine. I work a standard eight hour day, so pets would have some alone time during work hours. Before and after work, I make sure they get plenty of attention, walks, playtime, and care. I also have roommates who can help with a midday check in or let pets out if needed, which helps break up the day. I’m very mindful of keeping pets comfortable, sticking to their routines, and making sure they feel cared for even on a work schedule. Safety and comfort are always my top priorities, and I adjust my approach based on the environment. In my own home, I make sure the space is clean, pet safe, and free of anything they could get into. I keep a consistent routine for feeding, walks, and playtime so pets feel settled and comfortable. In a client’s home, I respect their space and follow all care instructions closely, including feeding schedules, routines, and any specific preferences. I make sure pets stay in secure areas, keep doors and gates closed, and maintain a calm, familiar environment. I also pay close attention to behavior and energy levels to make sure each pet feels safe, relaxed, and well cared for.
“I booked Hanna last minute to dog sit our aussie Freckles and she was amazing! Super flexible, friendly, and great with our pup. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring sitter!”

“Kay did a nice job with drop in visits for Ted. She sent plenty of photos with her very detailed updates, and was always very responsive to messages. Will definitely use her services again.”

About: ‼️if this is your first time booking on rover, message me to get $20 off! 🐾 About Me Hi! My name is Jacqueline. I’ve spent several years working with dogs in different environments including dog walking, daycare-style settings, and in-home boarding. Through this experience I’ve worked with many different personalities, energy levels, and routines. I went to a vocational High School to study animal science and have occupational experience as well. I bring a higher level of knowledge and training than typical pet sitters. My approach to pet care focuses on creating a calm, structured, and safe environment where dogs can relax and feel comfortable while their owners are away. Every dog is treated with patience, supervision, and individual attention. Your dog’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. 📝 What to Bring for Your Dog for Boarding To help your dog feel comfortable during their stay, please bring: • your dog’s regular food • food and water bowl • leash or harness • any medications they require • treats that your dog enjoys Familiar items can help dogs adjust more easily to a new environment. ❗️NOTE: -please do not bring toys for your dog as many dogs tend to exhibit resource guarding when placed in unfamiliar areas and get defensive over their special toy. 💬 Communication Clear communication helps ensure the best possible stay for your pet. I’m always happy to answer questions before or during a booking, and I appreciate owners sharing details about their dog’s routine, preferences, and personality. My goal is to provide a safe, comfortable, and positive experience for every dog in my care. I structure my daily routine around feeding schedules, potty breaks, enrichment time, and consistent exercise to make sure every animal in my care feels secure and loved. Whether it’s early morning walks, midday check-ins, or nighttime wind-downs, I prioritize routine, safety, and positive reinforcement. Caring for animals isn’t something I “fit in” — it’s already built into how I live, so your pet will receive attentive, reliable care just like my own. Outside of my class schedule, pet care is a major part of my daily routine. I spend a lot of time with my own dog, including regular walks, park visits, and enrichment activities throughout the week. I’m very attentive to pets’ needs and make sure they get plenty of exercise, stimulation, and affection each day.
About: What sets me apart is my focus on building genuine trust with every animal I care for. I take time to understand their personality, routines, and comfort level so they feel safe and secure. I am available any day of the week & able to pet sit for multiple days at a time. I’m also willing & able to pet sit for longer than 1 week. The more notice given the better. I prioritize following each client’s instructions closely and maintaining their pet’s normal routine as much as possible. I understand how important consistency is for animals, especially when their owner is away. I do not offer boarding in my home, but when caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on providing loving, attentive, and affectionate care. I take time to build trust so pets feel safe, comfortable, and at ease in their familiar environment.

Carol was amazing! She took wonderful care of my dog and cat for a week, sending thoughtful updates, meaningful notes, and great photos throughout. It gave me so much peace of mind knowing they were in such good hands. My pets were happy and well cared for, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I would absolutely book with Carol again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring pet sitter!

Jess has been such a great addition to my dog's life! Nellie is an anxious girl who can be reactive on lease. Jess has not only embraced working with Nellie, but has been patient and creative in providing Nellie with the best possible experience. She is flexible with my schedule and provides clear and consistent communication. Can not recommend enought!

We were so grateful that Kerry took such great care of our dog while we were away--her sensitive and thoughtful approach won his trust, and her detailed and quietly humorous reports and many photos made us feel almost as if we had been present. Thank you, Kerry--we very much hope to work with you again!

Alyssa took amazing care of my dog and cat while I was away for a work trip. She was very kind and understanding about my nerves of being away and leaving them but she was able to ease my worries with all of her detailed updates and many pictures of my pets. Thank you so much Alyssa!
