Hi there - I'm Emily (she/her). I always say that animals make everything better and I really believe that! Growing up with multiple animals in my life, I've always understood that every animal has their own personality, routine, and comfort level that is important to learn. Having experience with both adopted young puppies and adult dogs, I know the value of developing behavioral skills while also having fun! I’ve always been the go-to friend with questions about caring for animals, and I truly enjoy building trust with both pets and their people. Although new to Rover, I bring 15+ years of hands-on experience and am confident I can provide safe, loving, and enriching experience for your furry friend, treating them like my own.

Whether it’s a walk, a drop-in, or spending time keeping your furry friend company, I treat every pet like they’re my own. I’m patient, attentive, and genuinely love giving dogs the care, affection, and attention they deserve. From energetic pups who need extra movement to calmer dogs who just want to vibe out, I’m happy to adapt to your dog’s needs! I am also am RECOVER Pet CPR certified. I like to schedule meet and greets so I can become acquainted with the space, access, and so your pet and I can get familiar with each other☺️

Emily was fantastic! She took care of our brand new puppy over the course of a long weekend — definitely a pretty big ask for a dogsitter! Emily handled everything (instructions about crate training, feeding, etc.) with ease. She was super communicative; had a calm, confident manner; and obviously takes a lot of joy out of being with dogs. We loved getting our daily “pupdates” and knowing that Charlie was in such good hands.
Emily was incredible with my very shy and nervous pup. She was communicative, patient, and took such good care of my house and pup alike - would absolutely book with her again!
We were so reassured having Emily stay in our house with Lola while we were away overnight. She took great care of Lola and we won’t hesitate to call on her again in the future!
Emily was absolutely fantastic!! She took incredible care of my lab Dixie, sending me a pup-date every day letting me know how she was doing :) She also left my place spotless. I will definitely re-book Emily for future dog-sitting!
Emily is so attentive to Goose’s needs and I feel so at ease when I know she is coming to take care of him

Schedule
I’m currently working from home full time except for one-two days of the week. On the days I work from home (Mondays, most Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays) I have the flexibility to make local drop-in visits or take walks in the area. I also am able to work remotely from any location with WiFi, so if your best friend needs a house-sitter, I can be available. I have the most availability for services on the weekends when I am off the clock, but I am also flexible. I can also accept last minute bookings. Please don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions about my availability!
