“Cori is incredible! She did such an amazing job with my cat Suki. She was very thoughtful and responsive, and she took the best pictures of Suki. I was so anxious to leave Suki for the first time, but Cori helped ease that anxiety. And Suki loooves her! I will definitely be a returning customer and will recommend Cori to my friends with pets :). Thank you Cori!”

About: I’ve been watching neighbors and friends pets for as long as I can remember! Anytime a furry friend needed a companion I was the one to call. I work full time but am only in office Tuesday and Wednesday. I will gladly stop in anytime after 6 pm on those days otherwise I WFH Monday Thursday and Friday and can stop in three times a day then! I will be glad to walk your dog or just come check on them in your home! I can crate them or do whatever you would feel best about!

“Stitches’ tail doesn’t wiggle for just anybody—but with Julia, it never stops! He can instantly sense her great energy, and it’s clear how comfortable and happy he feels around her. She’s so patient, caring, and attentive with him, and even in just 30 minutes, she makes such a positive difference in his day. It gives me so much peace of mind knowing he’s in such good hands. Julia is truly amazing with him, and I couldn’t ask for a better dog walker and sitter! 🐾”

“Olivia took great care of our dog during drop-in visits for two weeks while our schedules were hectic. She provided lots of updates and was proactive and easy to communicate with. Would highly recommend her services and look forward to working with her again!”

About: I’ve cared for dogs for years and understand their personalities, comfort needs, and unique habits. I’m dependable, communicative, and treat every pet with the same love and respect I give my own. My interest in pursuing dog behavior work helps me be more attentive and in tune with each dog’s emotions. Whether your pup enjoys active outings or relaxed snuggles, I create a safe, happy, and reassuring experience tailored to them. I'm currently working part-time and maintain a pretty flexible schedule. I am happy to coordinate my schedule around your pup's routine in order to be dependable and reliable. I specialize in dog walking and drop-in visits, I work on ensuring pets receive attentive care while visiting their own home. I like to carefully follow routines and provide updates after each visit. I'm located in Allston, close to local parks giving me easy access to great walking routes suited to both high-energy and relaxed dogs.
“Lavender was great! She gave daily updates and reached out if she had any questions. She truly cared for my cats and I would absolutely book her again.”

“Shilpa took excellent care of Simon and Garfunkel (cats) while I was away. She went above and beyond to accommodate our needs and was very friendly and communicative. I would definitely book with Shilpa again and recommend to a friend.”

“Yeojin is wonderful. She’s checked on my cat several times now for long trips and I know he is well cared for from the snuggle pictures I get updates of. If you can win a cats trust and affection in a short time you are good in my book! He also doesn’t seem upset with me when I come home, which means I knows he’s felt cared for, interacted with and not abandoned (something that has happened in the past with other sitters). On top of that, it’s clear she is respectful of your space and swept up with the little dust pan I had close by around the cat litter box after she cleaned it, which I greatly appreciate coming home after days away to a clean floor. Would definitely recommend Yeojin with your pets. Thanks again Yeojin!”

About: I am a mother to a 5 year old Siberian Husky who has a lot of energy and loves to be outside. My favorite thing to do is to take him on 1 hour long walks to the Paul Revere Park and the North Point Park usually twice a day. We also love walking the Charles River Esplanade. I’m currently in grad school and have availability between classes. I would love to take your dogs on a refreshing, energetic, fun long walk or run. This would be without my Husky of course. I grew up with dogs my whole life, and have a lot of experience with a variance of breeds, weights, and temperament. I’ve also taken dog training classes with my husky. I look forward to helping you out with walking your pups! I know our dogs are our babies, so I’m excited to give them a wonderful time outside. I have availability between 12:30pm and 5:00pm Monday though Friday. Weekends may be flexible. I just have a lot of free time that I wouldn’t mind spending walking doggies. I will be on time to pick up your pet and will have a patient kind manner so they sense safely and comfortability. I am comfortable with crating your pet if needed and filling up food/water if needed.
“Was incredibly attuned to my lil anxious Winston, provided consistent helpful feedback & was just overall a perfect pet sitter for my baby boy! I was nervous using rover for the first time, and Rachel exceeded my expectations & went above and beyond. Will be working with her again!”

“I can’t say enough wonderful things about Julie! She treats our dogs like family, always reliable, caring, and communicative. The updates and pictures after each walk make me feel at ease knowing our dogs are happy and in safe hands. Our dogs absolutely adore her and it’s clear how much love and attention she gives. We feel so lucky to have found such a trustworthy and amazing walker on Rover!”

About: I am a dependable and kind dog-lover who enjoys the connection that can be made between a human and a dog. Dogs can teach us so much while also entertaining and tuning into their humans' emotions. When their owner is away, they need someone to rely on who can keep them occupied and happy, almost like they are on vacation too! I have a full-time job as a School Adjustment Counselor and get home around 3:30. I can do, and very much enjoy, afternoon walks and am also available on the weekends as needed. I think it is important to keep your pet in their safe space! I am open to dog sitting overnight in your home, where they are the most comfortable. I think taking them out of their space and without their owner can be very anxiety-inducing for many pets.
“Samantha has been an absolute lifesaver for us and our cat, Penny, who struggles with separation anxiety. Penny is usually very stressed when we're away, but Samantha’s calm and caring presence made a huge difference. She took the time to understand Penny’s routines and needs, and it was clear that Penny felt safe and comfortable with her. We loved getting regular updates and photos, which put us at ease. If you’re looking for someone who will care for your pet with love and patience, Samantha is the perfect choice!”

“I cannot say enough good things about Juanita! She was highly communicative, shared so many photos of our cat Stella, and overall took excellent care of her while we were away. I would absolutely recommend Juanita to any other pet owner.”

“Sarah is the sweetest, most compassionate, most professional pet sitter I have ever had. She always goes above and beyond for my cat even though she is quite shy and is not always the easiest customer. I would hire her every single time I go away if I could. She is so fantastic.”

“Jose is wonderful as always! Came home to happy cats full of love and treats! Jose is communicative, caring and always sends amazing updates with pictures 💗”

“Anna did a great job at caring for my cat. She followed all the instructions I gave her, gave me daily updates, and my cat warmed up to her super quickly. I would definitely book with her again the next time I have to go away!”

Jamie was absolutely wonderful! This was my first time booking with her, and I left what felt like a million notes and instructions. Jamie took the time to read every single one and followed them so thoughtfully and carefully. It was clear from the start that she genuinely cared about providing the best possible experience for both me and my pet. She was kind, attentive, communicative, and incredibly detail-oriented throughout the entire stay. Knowing that someone took the time to understand all of my routines and preferences gave me so much peace of mind. I am so grateful for the excellent care Jamie provided and would absolutely book with her again without hesitation. Highly recommend!

Olivia took great care of our dog during drop-in visits for two weeks while our schedules were hectic. She provided lots of updates and was proactive and easy to communicate with. Would highly recommend her services and look forward to working with her again!

Alyssa took amazing care of my dog and cat while I was away for a work trip. She was very kind and understanding about my nerves of being away and leaving them but she was able to ease my worries with all of her detailed updates and many pictures of my pets. Thank you so much Alyssa!

Eleanor did an excellent and thoughtful job caring for my dog who had an unexpected medical emergency that was very serious. She helped her through the process and I’m very grateful to have had her help in that situation. She is a kind and responsible caregiver and I certainly recommend her.

A pet sitter can provide focused care sessions, help your pet’s routine stay on track, or keep you updated on your pet’s mood and energy levels.
Whether you’re at the office for the day or traveling for a few nights, a pet sitter can offer potty breaks during a Brighton stroll, cleaning the litter box, or making sure your pet has on-time food or water refills. For daytime services like walking and drop-ins, you can also request sitters to send a report card with every visit.
Tip: You can discuss your specific arrangements with a pet sitter on Rover to what fits you, your pet, and your sitter’s needs. To find what their special skills are, look at the "Skills" and "Pet care experience" sections on their profile.
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Brighton choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
To find sitters in Brighton with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Brighton. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
