“Julie has been great whenever she has done drop ins with my cat Milo. She is super communicative, responsive and flexible. It’s given me peace of mind that Milo is okay when I am traveling. Highly recommend her.”

About: I’ve cared for dogs for years and understand their personalities, comfort needs, and unique habits. I’m dependable, communicative, and treat every pet with the same love and respect I give my own. My interest in pursuing dog behavior work helps me be more attentive and in tune with each dog’s emotions. Whether your pup enjoys active outings or relaxed snuggles, I create a safe, happy, and reassuring experience tailored to them. I'm currently working part-time and maintain a pretty flexible schedule. I am happy to coordinate my schedule around your pup's routine in order to be dependable and reliable. I specialize in dog walking and drop-in visits, I work on ensuring pets receive attentive care while visiting their own home. I like to carefully follow routines and provide updates after each visit. I'm located in Allston, close to local parks giving me easy access to great walking routes suited to both high-energy and relaxed dogs.

“Stitches’ tail doesn’t wiggle for just anybody—but with Julia, it never stops! He can instantly sense her great energy, and it’s clear how comfortable and happy he feels around her. She’s so patient, caring, and attentive with him, and even in just 30 minutes, she makes such a positive difference in his day. It gives me so much peace of mind knowing he’s in such good hands. Julia is truly amazing with him, and I couldn’t ask for a better dog walker and sitter! 🐾”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats big little and everything in between! I love going on walks, playing catch, and giving lots of pets and love. I have experience giving medications, and dealing with elderly pets as well as the little kitties and puppies! I currently work as a PCA, and am busy 12-3 on weekdays for the summer. However, my mornings and early evenings are open. I am also free weekends! I am able to stay with your animals while you are away, or check in on them for walks or play time during the day. Whatever you need!
“Julia was great with my cat Toto! She was always on time and sent photos for each visit. She’s very responsive, reliable and sweet. I look forward to booking her again!”

“Yeojin was wonderful with our senior cat Lira! We have a certain way we have to feed her because she's old, picky, and can't really smell her food (but she still needs medications). Yeojin let us know any time there was a concern and we were able to be out of town and relax knowing Lira was in good hands. ? Thank you Yeojin!”
About: About Me: I am a dog parent myself, with a 25lb Terrier mix named Lemonade who my husband and I rescued from a shelter in Texas about 6 years ago. Lemon is my best friend and little shadow. I am usually anxious to leave her in the care of others, so I deeply empathize with other owners who just want their pet to be safe, loved, and cared for responsibly. I’ve grown up around dogs my entire life and have a particular fondness for small breeds, but I truly love them all! I have done overnight stays with dogs ranging from 5-45 lbs (Toy Poodles, Doodles, small Terrier breeds, pitty mixes to name a few) but also have walking experience with medium/large sized dogs such as Standard Poodles, Portuguese Water Dogs, Golden Retrievers and Lab/Boxer mixes. A fun fact about me is that I am passionate about ALL animals, and one day I hope to have a small hobby farm with chickens, ducks, and goats. I would also like to adopt a cat in the near future. I am comfortable handling all types of animals from cats and dogs to rodents, rabbits, reptiles and birds. Additional Skills/ Experience: - Administering meds- oral, eye/ear drops, injections (ex: insulin). I require an in-person meet and greet to go over instructions if you need help in this department - Walking tools: Harnesses, Martingale collars, and Herm Sprenger (prong) training collar experience - Grooming: If your dog enjoys pampering or has a coat that requires brushing, it is one of my favorite activities! I brush my dog daily and it has become a relaxing routine and bonding experience for both of us. I have extensive personal experience with curly coats that require regular maintenance and brushing (Poodles, PWDs) - Puppies/ routine training: I would be glad to learn the commands you are teaching/ implement them during walks/ drop-ins/ overnights to help you continue your training regimen while away/ at work. - Seniors: I have experience with (sometimes grumpy) seniors up to 16 years old, and therefore I am not new to doggy diapers, incontinence issues, med administration, and even blindness and loss of hearing. I approach older pets with patience, gentleness and respect for boundaries! I’d love to hear from you if you have any questions. Treating your pet like my own is always my top priority! ❤️ I am available 7 days a week! - Flexible hours on Monday- Friday - Walks: weekdays only - Drop-ins & Over-night stays: weekends & weekdays based on availability I lead with respect and compassion for all animals and pet owners, and I will abide by any specific instructions you’d like to provide. As an anxious pet owner myself, I want the best for your pet and I strive to make everyone involved comfortable, providing updates and photos throughout my service. If you prefer to meet me before booking, please reach out and I would be more than happy to do so! I do also have an enclosed back yard with a dog gate that is suitable for small dogs, if you are local and prefer to drop off.
“Was incredibly attuned to my lil anxious Winston, provided consistent helpful feedback & was just overall a perfect pet sitter for my baby boy! I was nervous using rover for the first time, and Rachel exceeded my expectations & went above and beyond. Will be working with her again!”

About: Growing up with a energetic yet stubborn German Shorthaired Pointer, raising my own crazy orange cat Shrimp, regularly babysitting my nephew along with his Aruban Cunucu sister, and caring for friends' and family's pets while their owners were away, I've gained a lot of great experience with many different breeds, ages, and sizes of pets, and I've loved them all! I live in Brighton and work in Special Education with students in K-8 during the school year, so I've got plenty of time this Summer to help care for your dogs and cats! I'd love to take your dog for a walk or a jog around your neighborhood or local park or reservoir, visit your kitty or pup for some playtime or a meal, or watch your precious pets while you're away! With me, your four-legged friends will be in great hands! My schedule for pet care is very open and flexible for the Summer - I'm available mornings, afternoons and evenings, on both weekdays and weekends! I will always provide the same attention, and concern while caring for your pets that I give to my own. I will follow any instructions and be conscious of details you provide, treat your home with the utmost respect, and send frequent photo updates.
“Jose provided incredible, consistent care for our sweet senior cat. He checked in on her daily for 3 weeks while we were away, paid extra attention to her cleanliness and nourishment, and provided reassuring updates and photos. We couldn’t be more grateful! Will book him again anytime :)”

“Hannah did a wonderful job with our pups! She came to watch them on really short notice but was prompt, communicative, and took our two big pups on a walk and sent us lots of photos :)”

About: I’ve been watching neighbors and friends pets for as long as I can remember! Anytime a furry friend needed a companion I was the one to call. I work full time but am only in office Tuesday and Wednesday. I will gladly stop in anytime after 6 pm on those days otherwise I WFH Monday Thursday and Friday and can stop in three times a day then! I will be glad to walk your dog or just come check on them in your home! I can crate them or do whatever you would feel best about!
About: I am coming back to pet sitting on Rover part time after moving to Boston! For several years, I have taken care of both dogs and cats for family and friends. I will take the time to make sure your pet is well-fed, watered, and entertained. I will feed your pet, take dogs outside for bathroom breaks/walks, and keep the pet areas clean and tidy! I work remote on Tuesdays and Fridays, which means I can work remotely from your home to stay with your pet all day on those days if needed! I am also available for drop ins on Tuesdays, Thursday evenings, Fridays, and weekends. I grew up with two cats! I fed them, cleaned the litter box, and trimmed their nails. I am comfortable taking care of more than one cat at a time. I am experienced looking after younger dogs as well as senior dogs.

“Lulu took amazing care of our cat and provided detailed updates after each visit along with pictures and videos while feeding, giving insulin injections, cleaning up after, and spending time with Callie. We look forward to booking with her again!”

“Shilpa did a great job with our cat Frieda. She made sure Frieda was fed and happy and was good about communication. She sent a good variety of photos as well so we were sure Frieda was doing well.”

“Cori was so good with Monroe! He is a high needs ferret and I’m always nervous to leave him. But she was so wonderful and he I knew that with her he was in great hands. Also, she really does take the best pet pictures!”

“Bobbi was an amazing sitter for our dog, Callie! We loved getting all the updates and pictures while we were gone and truly appreciate the love and care that Bobbi gave to her. We ended up crossing paths with Bobbi when we got home on the last night, and we could just see how much Callie already loved her! Bobbi is extremely friendly and will spend a lot of time making sure your dog isn't restless and that your dog feels lots of love! We will definitely book Bobbi again in the future. If you're looking for a Rover that will treat your dog better than even you while you are gone, don't hesitate to book Bobbi!”

Kelly took great care of Mochi while we were away. I really liked that she followed up with me for detailed instructions before starting the visit. She was on time for her visits and sent amazing photos of Mochi. Mochi gets anxious when we are away, Kelly did a great job keeping him calm, taking him for walks and kept the house clean. I would highly recommend Kelly to anyone looking for a pet sitter who deeply cares about your pet while you’re away.

Liza is a professional and we will certainly keep her in mind for any future needs. She was extremely attentive to the specific needs of our pups, ensuring that she had all the instructions/details ready to go before we even left for our extended trip. Her Rover cards/visits were thoroughly documented and her communication was top-notch, giving us the peace of mind we needed to enjoy our vacation. Our pups easily fell in love with her! She’s a no brainer to hire!

Jamie was absolutely wonderful! This was my first time booking with her, and I left what felt like a million notes and instructions. Jamie took the time to read every single one and followed them so thoughtfully and carefully. It was clear from the start that she genuinely cared about providing the best possible experience for both me and my pet. She was kind, attentive, communicative, and incredibly detail-oriented throughout the entire stay. Knowing that someone took the time to understand all of my routines and preferences gave me so much peace of mind. I am so grateful for the excellent care Jamie provided and would absolutely book with her again without hesitation. Highly recommend!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking.
