About: What sets me apart from other sitters is my deep compassion, patience, and experience with dogs who need extra attention—especially those with anxiety or special routines. I have hands-on experience caring for senior dogs, puppies, and pets who struggle with separation anxiety. My own dog, Sasha, has anxiety, so I understand the importance of gentle care, consistency, and emotional support. I treat every pet like family, and I’m committed to creating a calm, safe, and loving environment while you’re away. Whether your pup needs long walks, slow introductions, or just a cozy lap to nap on—I’ve got you covered! Pet care fits naturally into my weekly routine. I have Mondays and Tuesdays off, which gives me plenty of time for daytime walks and drop-ins. On other days, I’m able to fit in visits between school and work—and I don’t mind doing late-night drop-ins if your pet needs evening attention. Caring for animals is something I truly enjoy, so I’m happy to make it a priority in my schedule. I’m dependable, flexible, and always focused on making pets feel safe and loved while you’re away. I only offer pet care in the client’s home because I believe pets are happiest and most comfortable in their own familiar environment. I follow your pet’s routine closely—whether that’s feeding, walks, playtime, or administering medication. I respect your space, keep things tidy, and make sure your pet feels safe, loved, and cared for while you’re away. My goal is always to provide reliable, stress-free care that gives both you and your pet peace of mind.
About: Hi! I have experience taking care of pets from neighbors, friends, and family. Since moving to Boston I haven’t had time to care for one of my own, but would love to meet others 😁 I currently work full time, but I have quite a bit of flexibility in my schedule. Typically I am available most afternoons as well as weekends! I will follow instructions and adjust my care based on what is requested and what the pet is comfortable with. Please let me know how I can make this experience as enjoyable as possible!
About: I’m reliable, flexible and a good communicator, who loves to spend time with your fur babies, whether it’s cuddles, play or a long walk in the woods. I’m a teacher who has lots of flexibility this summer! I have my own strong and active 45 pound rescue, Sox, and have walked many neighbors’ dogs and helped my kids with their own dog walking businesses. I’d love to meet your pup! I’m a teacher, currently off for summer vacation, so I have a lot of flexibility June, July and August. I may often be available last minute, as well. I have a car, and am comfortable entering and exiting your home. (My own dog greets people with a whole lot of barking, so I’m used to that!)

I came home to a happy, relaxed cat and a clean space. I would absolutely recommend Zijia to anyone looking for a kind and reliable pet sitter.”

“Thank you, Jolene, for checking in on my two cats over a holiday weekend with a last minute booking! Jolene’s communication and timing was excellent. While checking on the cats, she filled their bowls, gave them treats, and brushed them. I appreciated her time and attention!”

“Sarah was wonderful with my pup Penny! Penny is used to pretty much always being by my side, and she was (unexpectedly) scared when I wasn't there. Sarah and her son took the time to coax Penny out from the under the bed and made her comfortable for future stop ins. As a pet parent, I felt much better knowing that my dog was both happier and in great hands! A very positive experience!”

“Julia made leaving our kitty for the weekend so much easier by sending us pictures and updating us with each visit. Will definitely be using her again and would recommend her to anyone.”

“Maria and her partner happily accepted a quick meet up before meeting Mochi and I. They were eager, friendly, and very respectful. They spent and hour each day playing, petting, chasing, and cuddling with Mochi. My little Mochi was ecstatic to see them and play with them. Knowing that she was in great, eager, and safe company and while providing her nonstop attention for the hour was the best I could ask for. Would love to have Maria and her partner hang with Mochi again soon!”

About: I have been around animals all my life. Grew up in the rural Midwest surrounded by dogs, cats, rabbits, hamsters, turtles, in addition to the cows, pigs, chickens, and horses at nearby farms. I love animals and have helped care for them all my life. I am comfortable with all kinds and sizes of dogs and love getting them out on walks/hikes and playing with them, snuggling with them indoors as well. I adore dogs and remain calm, letting them get used to me before trying to engage...letting them set the stage or lead the way. Once I get to know them I am very affectionate with them and love to play and run around with them. I currently live in my own place with my cat and would love to care for your pets in your home. I'm currently between jobs and thought I would get back to pet sitting/walking for now. I love hanging with my furry friends and getting out for brisk walks! I will spend time getting to know your pet, snuggling with them(if they want), getting them outdoors and playing with them, keeping them on their feeding schedule and caring for them like they're my own.
About: Truly can’t decide if I love cats or dogs more, since I’m lucky to have owned one of each. I'm comfortable with pets of all sizes, cat-sit regularly for my friends and have experience in house-sitting/walking dogs. My love of animals also extends to respecting their need for space and safety which includes reading their cues to determine how to interact with them. I’m more than happy to send photos if you miss them and can water any plants! I’m currently in an online grad program and job searching, so evenings are the majority of my availability. I usually walk or take public transportation to bookings. My cat of 15 years, Daisy recently passed away from cancer. Attending to her declining health and increased medical care was emotionally difficult but I gained experience in giving oral, dermal, and sub-dermal medication. If your pet has medical needs I will treat them with the same care. I enjoy playing with pets who come to me or who simply want gentle pats and to be called silly versions of their name. For those more stand off-ish I give them space and the invitation to connect with me.

“Lindsey was great with my two pups. Twila is only 6-months-old and she's quite shy, while my other dog Chester is just over two-years-old. I had Lindsey do check ins the first week we got Twila as I was adjusting my work hours to accommodate a new puppy. Lindsey was timely, caring and patient with both of my dogs. I highly recommend her!”

“Anna was fantastic! She visited my home to take care of my two cats while I was out of town. Anna was punctual and always provided an update with cute pictures of my fur babies after her visit. This was my second time booking Anna and I would definitely book her again!”

Alyssa took amazing care of my dog and cat while I was away for a work trip. She was very kind and understanding about my nerves of being away and leaving them but she was able to ease my worries with all of her detailed updates and many pictures of my pets. Thank you so much Alyssa!

Eleanor did an excellent and thoughtful job caring for my dog who had an unexpected medical emergency that was very serious. She helped her through the process and I’m very grateful to have had her help in that situation. She is a kind and responsible caregiver and I certainly recommend her.

Sarah was wonderful with my pup Penny! Penny is used to pretty much always being by my side, and she was (unexpectedly) scared when I wasn't there. Sarah and her son took the time to coax Penny out from the under the bed and made her comfortable for future stop ins. Thank you for watching Beanie! Definitely would recommend. Minhyung stayed longer than necessary for the drop in to give extra care and companionship to Beanie which meant so much. She provided a thorough review. I came back to a very happy pup. Looking forward to having you watch Beanie again

Vinny did so great with Milo! She provided water and food and was able to play so long with Milo as from what I can see. Honestly I was worried at first with getting a drop in since I didn’t know what to expect but Vinny was very accommodating throughout the entire experience and treated Milo so well. If you need a bit of extra time with her for your pet, just ask, Vinny was more than willing to accommodate a little bit more of her time to take care of Milo.
Arvind was able to accommodate for a last-minute request spanning several days and took such great care of our dog. Normally a bit wary of strangers and staying home alone, our dog looked calm and happy in the many photos Arvind took. Plus, he left us various notes on our dog’s behavior, how he was doing, and the treats/feeding schedule. It was so comforting to know that while we were out of town, someone else was making sure our baby was cared for to the utmost extent. Thank you Arvind!

Devin did a wonderful job taking care of Mochi while I was away. He was punctual and took care of Mochi like his own. His communication is excellent, love the pictures he sent after every visit. Mochi was so excited to see Devin, clearly he’s made a great friend. I would definitely recommend Devin for anyone looking for a respectful and responsible person to watch your furry friend while you’re away.

Tira was amazing - stepped in last minute when I had a family emergency and had to leave the country for 2 weeks. I contacted her the same day I had the emergency and she responded quickly. During her visits - Prompt and frequent communication, keeping us up to date with her ETAs and how Ellie was. I trusted that Ellie was in good hands even if when I was literally halfway across the globe! She helped us with a potty accident that Ellie had, and was courteous and accommodating of all the HOA rules our condominium complex has. Thank you so much!

Timmy is the best! He did such a great job taking care of my Border Collie Moose. Timmy is very communicative and took better photos of my dog than I have in recent days lol. I appreciate Timmy’s professionalism and I know Moose misses him already. Two thumbs way up for Timmy!

Quinlan was very responsive, punctual, and easy to hand our pups over to. Our dogs were clearly very comfortable and vibed well with Quinlan's gentle, respectful, and friendly demeanor. There were ample photos and updates. We will definitely be booking with Quinlan again!!
