“Heidi was bery warm and caring to Harpo. Jun was a great addition to the service as they plaed well. Harpo even saw Juni in the park a few days later and it was clear they became fast friends - played so well together! Heidi as definintley a great fit for my puppy still learning maturity out and about. Juni was a very good influence. I woul recommend her and will be using her again!”

About: I know first hand how much love there is between a dog and their owner. For that reason, I believe trust, transparency, and fun are the pillars of my dog walking service. When you entrust me to care for your pet, I will make sure they are always safe, hydrated, and having fun! I also always send updates after walks letting clients know how the walk went and that dogs are home safe. As a dog owner, I have had family dogs ranging from a 6 lbs Yorkie to a 65 lbs Lab. Outside of my own pets, I have experience cat- and dog-sitting for friends and family and am excited to be able to take on more dog walking clients. I am comfortable walking dogs of many breeds, sizes and ages. I can't wait to meet your furriest family members! I am a graduate student, so I often have a flexible schedule to work around your needs. I am available for early morning and evening walks every day of the week and midday walks every day Wednesday-Sunday. Safety is my top priority for your pet, your home, and myself. This is why before working with your pet, I will request a meet-up with you to better understand your pet. In this meeting we can discuss if your pet has any aggression or fear around other dogs, escape-artist tendencies, or special needs so that walks can be as safe and secure as possible.
“Sophia is great! She was available when I needed last minute Labor Day weekend drop ins for my cat. I liked her immediately, and she took very good care of my Sam. He definitely warmed up to her after just 1 visit. Will absolutely hire Sophia again!”

About: We are a family in Arlington without any pets of our own, but lots of love and willingness to care for your pet in our home so you can enjoy your time away. Our neighborhood is safe for walks days and nights, and we have a fenced in backyard with plenty of room to run. We follow your routine, so please let us know of any preferences or restrictions, both dietary and behavioral. We offer lots of outside time, hugs and kisses! Your pet can sleep wherever they prefer, on the couch, in our bed, or in their crate (per your request only). We don't walk pets off lease unless we are at a dog park, and we stay with them in the yard, in particular at night, so they are never left unattended. We have two boys, age 13 years old, who are very active and love to run and play with dogs and are gentle with them. The adults in the family work mostly from home, so someone will be with your pet at all times. We prefer to do a meet and greet so we can see how your dog will fit into our home as well as get to know its habits and preferences. We make sure we have the time right after drop off to go for a walk with your dog so they get faster acclimated attention during the day. We are loving with the dogs we are sitting and make sure they get lots of outside and play time as needed during the day. We also don't give food from the table and are careful with treats, using only ones we have already checked with you. Since we don’t have any dogs or pets of our own, we have the time and attention to focus on your pet.
“Samichya and her husband were fantastic caretakers for my two beagles. They were wonderfully communicative throughout the stay, always quick to respond, and I felt completely at ease knowing my dogs were in such good hands. I came home to happy pups and a house left in great shape. Highly recommend their care.”

About: Hi! I’m a high-energy, caring and respectful pet sitter with 5 years of experience caring for dogs. I’ve worked with dogs of all sizes, personalities and needs, including dogs who require extra exercise, medication or specialized care. I have experience providing dog walking, drop-in visits and house sitting, and I love getting to know each dog and their individual routine. Whether your pup needs a long walk, plenty of playtime, medication on schedule or simply some company while you’re away, I’m happy to help! I understand how important it is to find someone you can trust with your pet and your home. I’m reliable, communicative and attentive to the little details that help dogs feel comfortable and happy while their owners are away. My goal is to make sure your pup gets plenty of love, exercise and attention while sticking as closely as possible to their normal routine. I’d love the opportunity to meet you and your pup! 🐶 I am currently between jobs so have time for walks and check-ins throughout the day. Overnight stay availability fluctuates depending on the week and my schedule. I cannot bring pets into my own apartment but am super comfortable staying at your home! I will show your home the same care and respect that I show your pet.
“Sasha was a diligent and kind sitter for our cat. He’s an energetic cat but Sasha kept him entertained, loved, and most importantly safe during the holiday season. I highly recommend you retain her services.”

“Anna did a fantastic job pet sitting for my two cats while I was out of town. She was punctual and sent detailed updates including pictures from every visit. My cats are afraid of most strangers but they were willing to come out from under the couch to say hi to Anna when she came over!”

About: I grew up with dogs and have cared for them since I was young. I’ve dog sat from weekends to three+ weeks for many years. I love a good long walk mag as well make a pup happy to come along!! I’m free week days before 3pm. If there are other times needed occasionally please ask my schedule can be flexible. I’d be happy to create routines and have some regular walking buddies! I’m very comfortable controlling dogs on walks and keeping them safe. I have learned how to communicate in a way that dogs respect and respond positively too. I have also worked in a gym for many years I’ve got the strength to make sure we all stay safe 💪
“Lorena took great care of my cat while I was away. She shared photos of him and gave me updates via his visit card. She also communicated quickly leading up to the visit. I would book Lorena again!”

“Had a pre meeting prior to the visits to get to know us and make sure we are a good fit. Appreciated that. Highly recommend Traci. She is wonderful. Provided feedback, photos and was consistent. Thanks will use her again.”

“Susie was great with my Maine Coon Suka. She was professional and communicative. Suka is not used to meeting new people and can be an intimidating large cat, but Susie knew to give Suka her space and wait for when she’s ready. Suka warmed up to her and was side swiping her and rubbing against her. I’d hire Susie again.”

About: Hello - Thank you for looking at my profile, and for thinking of me as your pet's caregiver. I am currently, an at home sitter, but willing to open my home to your pet. I am a dog owner too, and know that good help is hard to come by. I am loving, and fun and love to go on long walks on the beach with my puppy or hiking trails. Your pet is a part of your family, and I intend to treat your pet like my very own! I live in an apartment, but it is spacious and close to many parks and beaches.

About: What sets me apart is the level of care and communication I provide. I know how much trust it takes to leave your pet with someone else because I’ve cared for my own dog for the past 12 years. I follow their routine closely, and provide regular photo and video updates so you always know how they’re doing. Whether your dog loves long walks, playtime, or simply relaxing with company, I’ll make sure they feel safe, loved, and comfortable while you’re away. Pet care fits naturally into my weekly routine. I work a full-time job with a flexible schedule, including a few work-from-home days each week, which allows me to provide reliable care and plenty of attention. Outside of work, I enjoy staying active, so walks, playtime, and spending time with dogs are something I genuinely look forward to. I plan my schedule carefully to make sure every pet receives the care, exercise, and affection they deserve while their owner is away. If I’m caring for your pet in your home, I’ll treat your space with the same respect and care I would my own. I’ll also provide regular photo and video updates, so you can have peace of mind knowing your pet is happy, safe, and well cared for while you’re away.
“Tira helped us out when we needed a last minute dog sitter and was great with Eevee. She took lots of photos and kept us updated. We’d be happy to have her watch Eevee again in the future!”

“Absolutely amazing care! Pictures and updates were thorough and Mackenzie made sure our cats were comfortable with her by taking the time to give them space and slowly get used to her. 100 would recommend!”

About: I grew up with our own dogs as well as 25 foster dogs over the years. Five years ago, I adopted Eddie, my 14 year old chihuahua mix. In May, I adopted Dolly, my 10 year old Boston terrier mix. I’ve taken care of puppies, seniors, 110 lbs dogs, 10 lbs dogs, and everything in between! I’d love to be able to help you and your family. I’m a teacher currently on summer break, so my schedule is completely free for the summer. Once fall hits, I’ll still be available during the afternoons and on weekends. I truly think that owners know their dogs best, so I will take the lead from you in regards of what your dog expectations are. Each pet has different needs, so I’d like my care to reflect their needs and approach each situation holistically

“Lindsey has been great with our puppy! I love the check ins and pictures from each drop in. Lindsey can actually get her to walk in the leash and she is such a happy pup during the day!”

Julia is the best!!! She's been doing drop in visits with my dog for the past year while I've been at the office and is so communicative and reliable. Willow can be a little anxious about going outside but Julia handled it wonderfully and took such good care of her, giving her a bathroom break, food, medicine, and lots of cuddles and sending me lots of cute pics. Would use Julia forever if we weren't moving out of state. Can't recommend her enough!

We were so grateful that Kerry took such great care of our dog while we were away--her sensitive and thoughtful approach won his trust, and her detailed and quietly humorous reports and many photos made us feel almost as if we had been present. Thank you, Kerry--we very much hope to work with you again!

Kelly took great care of Mochi while we were away. I really liked that she followed up with me for detailed instructions before starting the visit. She was on time for her visits and sent amazing photos of Mochi. Mochi gets anxious when we are away, Kelly did a great job keeping him calm, taking him for walks and kept the house clean. I would highly recommend Kelly to anyone looking for a pet sitter who deeply cares about your pet while you’re away.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
