“Angela was absolutely amazing with our cats! They seem to adore her & she sent lots of photos. Having her watch them gave us peace of mind while we were traveling!!”

About: I have had many beloved pet dogs and have dog sat for friends and family when they go on vacation. I feel like I have a special connection with dogs and understand their wants and needs. My family jokingly refers to me as the "Dog Whisperer" I am retired but work out of the home part time as a crossing guard. One hour in the morning and one hour in the afternoon. My wife is home during the morning hour. We have a small extremely friendly 2 year old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel named Milo. He loves to play with every dog he has met and is extremely gentle and loving. We have a fenced in front yard and back yard with plenty of room for small dogs to roam and a quiet neighborhood for leash walks.
“Haowen was a fantastic sitter for Arya. He was great with communication, and did all that was asked of him and more when it came to taking care of Arya. We enjoyed all the pictures he took and even received a video which was much appreciated.”

“Karen was amazing with my 2 cat babies!! Loved getting the photos from her and knowing they were being taken good care of. Good communicator, very kind person, and loves animals. Would most definitely recommend and will definitely book again! :)”

“Monica has been so terrific watching Willow while we are at work. Willow was recovering from an Injury and Monica adapted wonderfully to assist her as needed. and Monica’s positive attitude, flexibility, and frequent updates make her one of our favorite pet-sitters ever! Strongly recommend!”

“Julia was fantastic taking care of our two cats! She was professional and I could tell our cats were very comfortable with her right from the start, which gave us great peace of mind while away. I would highly recommend her services!”

About: I like to take care of dogs and I have been doing it for my own 6.5yr old dog and sometimes my friends dogs. My pup is friendly but it always helps to introduce him to other dog before an overnight stay. I work full time and would like to hang with pups more than humans 😂. I have hybrid work schedule so will be available at home some days of week. I live in an apartment complex with high security and safe neighborhood. Nice river walk near by and very safe, dog friendly and lively neighborhood
“Page checked in on my cat while I was away for the holidays. Not only did I receive the most heart-warming photos, Page also was kind enough to bring packages inside that had been delivered after I left. Page is very easy to communicate with and is thoughtful as well. Highly recommend!”

“Ileanna has put my mind at ease by coming to spend time with our pup before pet sitting in our home. Our pup is still learning to build confidence with new people, and she warmed up to Illeanna quickly.”

“Tatiana was fantastic! Super responsive and on point. Normally our Kittie is mad at us whenever we leave him for a trip, but this time he was happy and relaxed when we came home. Tatiana took great care and made a new friend!”

About: Hi, my name is Jhechel Kacey!! I have a medium size puppy and her name is April, she’s from the shelter we’re not really sure what her breed is but we just know she is very loving and sweet!! I live in a single family home, we have a fenced in front yard. I have been working with dogs for the past 3 years, I have a 3 year old puppy myself and I have been training her since she was about 4 months old. April has had a very tough life before me and my family adopted her from the shelter, she dealt with abuse causing her to have severe anxiety when she was about 4 months old. It took me months and a lot of sweat and tears to get her to where she is comfortable with other dogs and especially men. I also have some experience with a senior dog, who suffered from severe cataracts. Me and my family had to take her in because she had issues with other dogs, expect for April. They both got along very well and April’s patients with Bailey helped improve her mood and health. When she came in to our home, she was a stray, she had ran away from home for a whole week. Bailey was about 10 years old and was dealing with a lot of pain and stress in her body. I have trained and looked after a lot of puppies and dogs, it is one of my favorite things to do, it truly brings joy into my life. I am home all day for 3 days Friday, Saturday and Sunday. However I can be very flexible and will make time if needed, all I ask is to let me know ahead of time. I will make sure that the pets are fed on time and they are walked for the designated time the owner assigned and I will care and love them!

Safety and care comes first.
“I had a wonderful experience with Michele as my cat sitter. This was my first time leaving my cats at home while on a trip, and naturally, I was a bit worried. But Michele handled everything brilliantly. She's not only patient but also very good at keeping in touch, which eased my mind. What impressed me the most was how she connected with my shy cat, Tequila. He usually takes time to warm up to new people, but he felt at ease with Michele right from the start. It was such a comfort to see him not hiding anymore. I highly recommend Michele to anyone who needs a reliable and caring cat sitter.”

I couldn’t be happier with Nathan as our puppy sitter! He took such wonderful care of our puppy and gave him so much attention and patience. It was clear that he genuinely cared about him. Symonne is such a kind soul! I really appreciated them asking very thoughtful questions to keep my pup's routine and preferences at the forefront before starting drop-ins with my dog, Luna. I know Luna was in great hands while I was away. Symonne kept me updated and sent pictures after every visit. :)

Grace has been amazing to work with! She has been incredibly flexible and accommodating, which has made everything so easy. Finn is reactive, so we were naturally nervous about leaving him with someone new, but he absolutely loves Grace. It gives us so much peace of mind knowing he’s so comfortable with her. Grace is kind, patient, and truly cares about Finn. She communicates with us so well, always keeps us updated, and goes above and beyond to make sure he’s happy and well cared for. We are so grateful we found her and couldn’t recommend her more highly. Thank you, Grace, for taking such wonderful care of our boy!

We had a wonderful experience with Jolene! She responded to messages quickly, was reliable and responsible, and took such great care of Maggie and Lucy. It was clear she genuinely loves dogs, and they felt comfortable and well cared for with her. We would absolutely trust her to watch Maggie and Lucy again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring, dependable, and trustworthy pet sitter!

Nik was awesome. Whiskey is very anxious and Nik gave him all the attention he needed. He also took care of Whiskey after his paw surgery and sent us updates throughout the day. When he came back home, Whiskey was happy to see him and comfortable to be around him. We will hire Nik again.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking.
