About: Hi! I’m Samantha, and caring for dogs has been a huge part of my life for years. I’ve volunteered with two different animal shelters, where I helped care for dogs of all ages, sizes, and personalities. Through fostering, I’ve gained hands-on experience with dogs who have medical needs, giving medications, helping shy or anxious pups adjust, and providing the patience and consistency they need to thrive. My most recent foster ended up becoming a “foster fail”—my sweet girl, Petunia, who officially stole my heart and became a permanent member of my family. Before Petunia, I had my first dog, Cooper, for 16 wonderful years. Losing him was incredibly difficult, but he reinforced just how much joy and purpose dogs bring to my life. Whether your dog loves long walks, playing fetch, snuggling on the couch, or just having someone keep them company, I’ll treat them like one of my own. Nik was awesome. Whiskey is very anxious and Nik gave him all the attention he needed. He also took care of Whiskey after his paw surgery and sent us updates throughout the day. When he came back home, Whiskey was happy to see him and comfortable to be around him. We will hire Nik again.
