About: Hi! I'm a lifelong animal lover who grew up around dogs and puppies thanks to my dad, a responsible dog breeder. Caring for dogs was a big part of my life from an early age, and I gained hands-on experience with dogs of different breeds, ages, and personalities. I grew to love cats as well when my best friend adopted two cats and we all lived together for several years. Since then, I've had the pleasure of pet sitting for puppies, dogs, and cats for friends, family, and clients. I'm dependable, communicative, and happy to provide regular updates and photos so you can feel confident that your pets are happy and well cared for while you're away. As an animal lover who's new to the Boston area and currently unable to have pets in my apartment, pet sitting is a wonderful way for me to spend time with animals while helping pet owners travel or work with peace of mind. I work from home, which gives me a flexible schedule and allows me to accommodate walks, drop-ins, and pet care throughout the day. When petsitting at your home, I can be there all day if you have wifi and a place for me to use my laptop, or I can pop in during the day and stay overnight. I always try to keep pets comfortable by maintaining their normal routines as closely as possible. Whether that means sticking to a feeding schedule, going on regular walks, playing, administering basic medications, or simply providing companionship, I pay close attention to each pet's individual needs and personality. Safety is my top priority. I make sure doors, gates, harnesses, and leashes are secure, and I closely supervise pets during walks and outdoor time. When staying in a client's home, I treat both the pets and the home with the utmost respect. About: I have had pets since I was a child including birds, guinea pigs, ferrets, cats and dogs. My condo is too small for a pet so I love taking care of pets for family and friends! I work from home 3 days a week so I am able to pet sit or take care of your pet most days of the week. I love to cuddle with animals so they feel comfortable without their owner. About: I've had pets growing up, and I was the main one caring for them. I've had dogs, a cat, guinea pigs, bunnies, fish, and a hamster. I love all animals, but mainly a dog lover! I have watched friends and family's pets. I did the basic care needs: walking, feeding, giving water, playing, and showing lots of love and attention. With my current dog, I have had to give her pills, so I also know different ways to give pills to dogs. I also know how to teach basic commands such as sit, stay, paw, and high-five. When I used to live in Texas, I volunteered to take a shelter senior dog for the day. I did basic care needs and even took him walking/running in a field before taking him back. I currently work a full-time job, anywhere from 7am-6pm on weekdays but I am free on weekends. I also don't mind going after work if you need someone to take your fur babies on a walk, do a check-in, or need to be fed/given water! I live with my boyfriend's family so unfortunately, I can't care for pets in my home. I don't mind just going to your house/apartment to care for your fur babies. I can take them for walks, play with them, keep them company, feed them, give them water, or even take them out the house for a little (a drive or even a walk around a store that allows pets).

About: I have helped take care of friends and families dogs/pets for about 5 years now. I have overnight sat for friends and took care of their dogs that required special feeding and medication instructions. I also helped train my own dog with stuff like sit and paw. I am currently working part-time in the hospital as an aide. I will not be working for most of the summer, so I will have plenty of time to check in on dogs or even stay over night at houses to pet sit. About: We grew up with dogs of our own and learned from a young age how much a dog adds to your life! Now being a dog owner I use Rover myself and find it so satisfying to know that my almost 8 year old boy Patric is in good hands when we are away. Such a great service I decided I'd like to board pups myself. I started as a sitter on Rover July, 2018 and it has been so fun and I am learning so much. I live within a short walk to hiking trails in town-owned reservation as well as short ride to Breakheart Reservation. We (my husband and I) visit places like these with our dog Patric (weather and season permitting) several times a week! We love these hikes as much as he does, and my dog gets to do what dogs love; smell different scents, interact with babbling brooks (especially fun!), climb on rocks, enjoy the sounds of chirping birds and the occasional woodpecker, and meet other humans with their pets while walking in a neutral setting. In short, experience nature and socialize at the same time.* This routine works well and sets the tone that the rest of the day our pup (and dog guests) are satisfied and calm. We also do neighborhood walks and people watching during the day while the fenced in backyard is there for outside breaks at anytime. We explore a lot and meet lots of wonderful dogs and their owners. Your dog will be well cared for, with lots of activity and field trips; we would love to share our fun experiences with your pup while you are away! (I fully understand how difficult it is to leave your dog with someone else - I am committed while watching your dog that they experience fun, adventures outside, lots of playing, and loads of love and attention. What we hope for with our own pup when he is with a sitter -nothing less. ) Please note: I typically do not book back to back boarding for pups as I don't get any work done! Along with I enjoy the dogs more when there are breaks in between. If I decline a request that very well may be the reason so don't take it personally. PLEASE NOTE: I am not available during most of November, 2024 to host dogs. Thank you. If you do book with me, please come prepared with a printout of your dogs normal at- home schedule for exercise, meals, potty habits, naps and bedtime routine. I am a helicopter Mom with my own dog as well as the dogs that stay here. They are treated like children and I am careful with their care. *While hiking in the woods, we are aware of wildlife dangers and do these hikes with optimal caution; eyes and ears watching and listening closely.
