“We recently moved to a new apt and needed a new sitter for our 10 year old kitty. Carol did a great job with her in all ways. Carol kept her routine and spoiled her the way we do. Our cat was relaxed and well taken care of by Carol. Highly recommend her pet services.”
About: Hi! I’m an animal husbandry trainer for seals and sea lions. However, I grew up with dogs, cats, rabbits, and goats! I can’t wait to meet your furry friend. I can also take care of fish and do water quality and system maintenance. I am available all day and night Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday! I also have availability after 6:00pm Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. I work from Thursday-Saturday at an aquarium (7am-4:30). I will make sure that your pet is treated with proper care and attention. If you have a shy animal, I will be happy to be patient, soft voiced, and gentle. If you have a energetic animal I will gladly match their energy!
About: Since I was a kid, I was obsessed with dogs. I watched a lot of shows and read books about dogs. Rescuing my dog in 2016 changed everything — he showed me how to listen, observe, and understand what dogs are really saying. That's the level of attention and care I bring to every dog I look after. I'm a mostly remote full-time employee, so I can be pretty flexible if your pet needs a check in for attention or a walk and a potty break! When caring for pets in a client's home, I follow the established routine as closely as possible - feeding times, walk schedules and any specifics that the pet is used to. If a dog is allowed off-leash, I make sure all doors/gates are closed and secured. I pay attention for any changes in appetite, energy, or behavior and report them to the client promptly. I enjoy taking photos of pets, so I will also send photo updates! I also keep the place clean and respect any areas that are off-limits.
“Frances & Julia were great. They were responsive to our last minute booking request and communicative throughout the visits we scheduled over a weekend while we were away. The photos and videos they shared with us of our puppy showed how great they cared for him, and our dog was in great spirits when we returned. I would definitely recommend to fellow pet parents and re-book if we need care again.”

About: I've lived with dogs my entire life and taken care of dogs for the last 10 years. I really enjoy animals and engaging in outdoor activities (long walks, hikes, playing fetch). You can count on me to give your pets all the love and care they need! Available all summer for any of your daily pet needs! I provide regularly scheduled walks and drop-in visits every weekday, all summer long. If your pet is comfortable, I would love to bring them to any walking/hiking trails in the area, transportation included! I always follow the home's instructions, and your pet's comfort is my top priority. I prioritize open communication and am receptive to feedback to ensure your pet's safety and happiness.

About: Hi! I’m Victoria, and I’ve been caring for cats and dogs for the past few years. I’m reliable, attentive, and love getting to know each pet’s unique personality. Whether it’s playtime, walks, or cozy couch cuddles, I make sure your furry friend feels safe and loved. You’ll always get updates while you’re away, so you can relax knowing they’re in good hands. I have a pretty open schedule! I work part time and am in school part time and would like to fill some free time by caring for pets! I am unable to care for pets in my apartment, but can ensure their safety on walks or in your home if needed! I am able to provide updates and to meet you prior to caring for your pets so that you can get to know me!
About: My name is Suzie and I am 30 years old. I have owned a dog all my life and currently have one dog named Moose. I have interacted with many different types of dogs and personalities. I am confident I can make you dog happy. I currently work at a Hospital 3 days a week, so I am home majority of the week. I have just moved to the North Andover area and would love to explore the area with your dog. I also live with my boyfriend who is usually around when I am at work. He owns a female Husky who is at my condo occasionally. I do not have rules about pets being on furniture or in the bed. I have dog beds and large crate for them, whatever the prefer. Please reach out to me if you have any questions. I am home 4 days a week from work. I am able to be home with your dog to feed it and take it out in a timely manner. I work 15 minutes up the road, so if necessary I can leave work to let the dogs out. I live in a dog friendly condo complex that I can take your dog on a walk and live near trails to walk also. I have an open door crate dogs can go into if they are feeling overwhelmed or need a safe place to sleep.
“Rosemary is THE BEST. She gives great updates (and the cutest pictures!) while watching our cats and I feel at ease leaving town knowing she is taking amazing care of them. She truly goes above and beyond!”

“Nina was great with our cat, Buoy, and always made sure to give us updates during her visits. We had so much peace of mind while we were away for a holiday for a few days that he was well taken care of. I’d recommend her to anyone looking for someone to drop-in and keep an eye on their furry family members.”

“Adriana was awesome! She spent time with our dogs this week and took good care of them. She was a good communicator and sent lots of pics! We have already requested to rebook her.”

About: I’ve been a dog owner for over 3 years. I would take as much care for my puppy as I could. Every morning - every evening my dog was part of my every day routine. I would make sure my pet was all set fed, and had water, and brought outside before I went on with my day! my dog was my best friend. Every where I went my dog would follow. She was like another family member! I couldn’t go on a walk without her outside. I love walking the lake, or walking around the neighborhood. The dog is like another family member! I treated my dog with care and like she was one of us. Always making sure she was well fed, cleaned, groomed, and walked!
About: I adopted my first dog in second grade. He was my responsibility and as I got older, I learned that I loved going for walks outside as much as my dog. Now that I'm older, I love taking friends' dogs for hikes in new locations. I have even managed to train one of my friend's reactive dog so she pulls on the leash less. I also briefly fostered animals when I was in graduate school. I am a teacher on summer break, so I have plenty of hours to devote to your pet and look forward to enjoying plenty of summer outside time with your dog. I have walked a wide range of dogs, including a couple of reactive pit bull mixes. I have experienced triggering situations with dogs and know how to either handle them or avoid them.
About: I’ve taken care of others dogs for a few years now, but I have had dogs of my own since I was 4 years old. I am currently living on SDSU campus and do not have a car, so you would need to be within walking distance. I am available all day any day! I will always make sure dogs are secure on leashes and safe with me. I will make sure it’s not too hot for them and they get the care they need
“Jennifer was beyond amazing with our Annie. We have an anxious dog who fears change and Jennifer was so warm and friendly that Annie immediately loved her. She took great care of her and was accommodating of our last minute request. Would highly recommend!”

“Jodie’s flexibility is unmatched! Recently I had a family situation where I needed to change the schedule last minute and she was so compassionate and accommodating. Having her help during this trying time is such a relief!”

10 stars if possible. Jamie jumped in to help when I had a last minute emergency. She was great with my animals and communicating. I stopped worrying after Jamie’s first visit and report as it was clear that the animals were in capable and loving hands. Will ask (beg) her to look after my pets in a heartbeat

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
