“Rosemary was a last minute Rover sitter we had never used before, and she ended up being a huge lifesaver! Easy communication and never had to worry about a thing. Will definitely add Rosemary's name to our Rover sitter list.”

“Paws and crab were well cared for. Suzie had a lot of meds to feed our senior cat. I had wonderful pictures of them playing. This was a twice a day commitment so I was very happy with Suzies time and care. I would highly recommend her.”
“Frances was great and flexible! She took great care of my cat and was very responsive to all of my requests of getting more photos, leaving notes, pick up/drop off keys etc. I would recommend her to take care of any of your furry friends!”

“I HIGHLY recommend Courtney! I am very particular about my dogs, and she took such great care of them. I will absolutely book her again. One of my dogs is very skeptical about new people but loved Courtney immediately. Both my dogs take medication daily (one twice daily), and this was no problem.”

“Cat was fantastic with our shy Greyson! I am amazed that she was able to get him comfortable enough to come out from hiding! Also her communication while we were away was great!”

About: I’ve been a dog owner for many years and have had three Shar Pei of my own. Shar Pei can be a challenging breed, and all three of mine experienced health issues over the years, so I’m comfortable caring for dogs who need a little extra patience and attention, including administering medications. I no longer have a dog in my home and have recently been dog sitting for friends and family. I’ve enjoyed it so much that I decided it was time to expand! I truly enjoy having dogs around, taking them for walks and giving them plenty of attention. Your dog will be treated like part of my family, not a guest. I work outside of the home during the week, but I have flexibility in my schedule and plenty of time to give your dog the attention, exercise and companionship they need. I enjoy walking and being outdoors, so daily walks are something I genuinely look forward to. When I’m home, your dog will be right there with me as part of the family. I have a fully fenced-in yard where your dog can safely spend time outside, and there are currently no other pets living in my home. This allows me to give your dog lots of individual attention and makes my home a comfortable option for dogs who may prefer not to be around other animals. I’m experienced with administering medications and caring for dogs with health issues and special needs. I’ll also follow your dog’s normal feeding, walking, sleeping and medication routine as closely as possible. Above all, I want your dog to feel safe, comfortable and at home while you’re away.

About: As a dog owner myself, I know how hard it can be to leave your pet with someone new. I’ll take the time to learn your dog’s routine, personality, likes, and dislikes so they feel comfortable and cared for. I’m reliable, patient, and happy to provide walks, playtime, cuddles, and regular photo updates for your peace of mind. I currently have a very flexible schedule, which allows me to give pets plenty of time, attention, and care throughout the day. I’m available during the week and on weekends for walks, drop-in visits, and quality time with your pet. Caring for my own dog is already a big part of my daily routine, so providing consistent, loving care comes naturally to me. I follow each pet’s normal routine as closely as possible, including their feeding schedule, walks, potty breaks, playtime, and any specific instructions provided. I keep their environment clean, comfortable, and secure, and I give them plenty of attention based on their individual personality. I also send regular photos and updates so you can feel confident that your pet is safe, happy, and well cared for. I also have a fenced in large backyard great for dogs to run and play.
“Heather looked in on our two cats while we were on vacation for a week and she was spectacular! Our boys got the food and attention they needed and Heather provided daily updates. We are very grateful to Heather!!!!”

I look forward to meeting your furry friends and providing them a safe, fun, and caring environment! I take care of small and medium dogs in my apartment. Dogs get potty breaks 2–3 times per day, plus daily walks and playtime to keep them happy and healthy. I provide a safe, clean, and loving environment for your pet. I have experience caring for cats for over 10 years and a friend’s dog for several months. I make sure every pet gets attention, playtime, and plenty of potty breaks.
About: I’ve always loved animals and have been caring for pets for years. I have grown up with dogs my entire life! I’m dependable, attentive, and treat every pet like they’re my own. I’m comfortable with dogs and cats of all ages, and personalities, and I understand that every pet has their own routine and needs. Whether it’s walks, playtime, feeding, cuddles, or simply keeping them company, I’ll make sure your pet feels safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. I’m responsible, communicative, and happy to follow any special instructions you have. Your pet’s comfort and well-being are always my top priority! I work remotely most of the week, with the exception of Tuesdays, which gives me a lot of flexibility to pop in and care for your dog or cat during the day. I love being able to provide pets with attention and companionship throughout the day rather than having them spend long hours alone. When caring for your pets in your home, I focus on keeping them comfortable, happy, and on their normal routine. I’ll follow all instructions you provide for feeding, walks, potty breaks, medications, playtime, and any other special needs. I’ll give your pets plenty of attention and companionship while also respecting their space and individual personalities. Since I work remotely most of the week, I have the flexibility to stop by during the day for walks, check-ins, feeding, and playtime. I’ll also make sure fresh water is available, litter boxes are clean, and your home is left neat and secure after each visit.

“As a first time dog owner it was very difficult to leave my new puppy for 24 hours. From the meet/greet prior to booking, I knew Molly genuinely cared about my pup and was going to make sure he was cared for. She updated me throughout my time away, my home was in terrific condition when I returned (better than it was originally actually) and more importantly cared and loved my dog. Thank you so much Molly.”

“Amber has only spent two days with my pup and I can already tell they are going to be friends! He’s happy and lively when I come home so I know he is getting a lot out of her visits!”

“Mykaela helped us out with mid-day visits to Stella over a 10-day period of time. I really enjoyed meeting her ahead of time when she stopped by! All her visits were on time, she took some nice neighborhood walks to help Stella go potty, and she kept in touch with us throughout! Everything you could want. I highly recommend Mykaela T for your next Rover needs.”

“Don was fantastic with my 9-month old puppy. He is reliable and prompt for the drop in visits. I could tell during the meet & great that my pup already liked him. He fed, walked and even did some training (loose leash walking, stay and come) which was very appreciated. Highly recommend!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Wakefield
This was our first time working with Nina and we look forward to working with her again. She is friendly, kind and attentive and we felt comfortable that she was a good match for us and with our dog and cat. She responsibly followed our guidance on food and meds which was very important as our dog had suffered a recent injury. We requested and received regular updates on how our little guy's were doing, giving us great peace of mind while we were away. She also sent very cute pictures!

Courtney is absolutely fantastic with our puppy! She is so thoughtful, patient, and caring, and we always look forward to the wonderful photo updates during her walks. Knowing our puppy is in such great hands gives us complete peace of mind. We couldn't ask for a better dog walker

Grace has been amazing to work with! She has been incredibly flexible and accommodating, which has made everything so easy. Finn is reactive, so we were naturally nervous about leaving him with someone new, but he absolutely loves Grace. It gives us so much peace of mind knowing he’s so comfortable with her. Grace is kind, patient, and truly cares about Finn. She communicates with us so well, always keeps us updated, and goes above and beyond to make sure he’s happy and well cared for. We are so grateful we found her and couldn’t recommend her more highly. Thank you, Grace, for taking such wonderful care of our boy!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone.
