“Nina stepped in on short notice and took great care of Remi. It was pouring rain and Nina went above and beyond to make sure Remi got dried off and settled in. Highly recommend!”

“Rosemary is THE BEST. She gives great updates (and the cutest pictures!) while watching our cats and I feel at ease leaving town knowing she is taking amazing care of them. She truly goes above and beyond!”

“My cats are typically shy and don't like my friends or extended family, but somehow they absolutely adore Charlene. When I get home from vacation, they still wait at the door for Charlene because they want her to visit them all the time!”

Dogs get potty breaks 2–3 times per day, plus daily walks and playtime to keep them happy and healthy. I provide a safe, clean, and loving environment for your pet. I have experience caring for cats for over 10 years and a friend’s dog for several months. I make sure every pet gets attention, playtime, and plenty of potty breaks.
“Page arrived on time, was very professional and connected with Mucci very quickly. she sent us frequent updates .. we were happy to see that Mucci was at ease and happy when we got back. First time we used Page's services and probably not the last time.”

About: I have been a pet lover all my life! Because I live in a condo with no yard, my family and I agreed it is not fair to have any pets. As a compromise, we offer to pet sit for our family and friends every chance we get. I have taken care of new born kittens, cats of all ages, small and medium sized dogs as well as blind dogs. I am very comfortable with dogs and truly love them! I love to play, walk and snuggle! As a graduate student I have free time during the day to care for your pets and I live in a pet friendly home for your overnight needs. It would bring me great joy to take care of your pets!

About: Ive taken care of dogs most of my life and owned one for 6 years. I’ve walked dogs big and small and my own has given me great experience with reactive dogs. I once worked as a kennel attendant for a local animal hospital which gave me experience with lots of different breeds and special feeding needs. I work full time so I am available evenings during the week, and anytime on the weekends when I’m not with my own furry friend I wont be offering any in home pet care services at this time. I live in a small apartment unit with a medium size dog
“Thank you, Jolene, for checking in on my two cats over a holiday weekend with a last minute booking! Jolene’s communication and timing was excellent. While checking on the cats, she filled their bowls, gave them treats, and brushed them. I appreciated her time and attention!”

About: I adopted my first dog in second grade. He was my responsibility and as I got older, I learned that I loved going for walks outside as much as my dog. Now that I'm older, I love taking friends' dogs for hikes in new locations. I have even managed to train one of my friend's reactive dog so she pulls on the leash less. I also briefly fostered animals when I was in graduate school. I am a teacher on summer break, so I have plenty of hours to devote to your pet and look forward to enjoying plenty of summer outside time with your dog. I have walked a wide range of dogs, including a couple of reactive pit bull mixes. I have experienced triggering situations with dogs and know how to either handle them or avoid them.
“Amber has only spent two days with my pup and I can already tell they are going to be friends! He’s happy and lively when I come home so I know he is getting a lot out of her visits!”

About: Hi! I’m an animal husbandry trainer for seals and sea lions. However, I grew up with dogs, cats, rabbits, and goats! I can’t wait to meet your furry friend. I can also take care of fish and do water quality and system maintenance. I am available all day and night Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday! I also have availability after 6:00pm Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. I work from Thursday-Saturday at an aquarium (7am-4:30). I will make sure that your pet is treated with proper care and attention. If you have a shy animal, I will be happy to be patient, soft voiced, and gentle. If you have a energetic animal I will gladly match their energy!
“Catherine was wonderful to my kitties and a joy to work with. She’s reliable and resourceful even when my locks were finicky. She went above and beyond to care for my long haired cats, and I am so grateful to her.”

About: I’ve taken care of others dogs for a few years now, but I have had dogs of my own since I was 4 years old. I am currently living on SDSU campus and do not have a car, so you would need to be within walking distance. I am available all day any day! I will always make sure dogs are secure on leashes and safe with me. I will make sure it’s not too hot for them and they get the care they need
“Ayfer is incredible! She's been so reliable and personable. Even our anxious cat loves her! We can really relax when we know Ayfer is with our furry family. She's also great with medication and just being a warm presence. Super responsive and sends incredible videos and pics!”

“We recently moved to a new apt and needed a new sitter for our 10 year old kitty. Carol did a great job with her in all ways. Carol kept her routine and spoiled her the way we do. Our cat was relaxed and well taken care of by Carol. Highly recommend her pet services.”
About: From neighborhood animal care to volunteering at local animal rescues, my passion lies in animal welfare and caregiving! I'm looking to reconnect with a local animal advocacy scene and provide my services to anyone who may need help with their four-legged loved ones. I'm a remote employee, so I'm able to work from anywhere that has WiFi! I just moved to Portsmouth NH, leaving my volunteer position at Salem Animal Rescue League as a Canine Walker. I'm ready to make my services available and get connected to the animal welfare scene in the Portsmouth area! I have reliable (and pet friendly) transportation for anything your pet may need: a walk in the park, a trip to the lake or emergency vet care. I highly encourage pet owners to provide me with the names of their vets and emergency contacts for the duration of the animal's care.
About: My name is Suzie and I am 30 years old. I have owned a dog all my life and currently have one dog named Moose. I have interacted with many different types of dogs and personalities. I am confident I can make you dog happy. I currently work at a Hospital 3 days a week, so I am home majority of the week. I have just moved to the North Andover area and would love to explore the area with your dog. I also live with my boyfriend who is usually around when I am at work. He owns a female Husky who is at my condo occasionally. I do not have rules about pets being on furniture or in the bed. I have dog beds and large crate for them, whatever the prefer. Please reach out to me if you have any questions. I am home 4 days a week from work. I am able to be home with your dog to feed it and take it out in a timely manner. I work 15 minutes up the road, so if necessary I can leave work to let the dogs out. I live in a dog friendly condo complex that I can take your dog on a walk and live near trails to walk also. I have an open door crate dogs can go into if they are feeling overwhelmed or need a safe place to sleep.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
To find sitters in Wakefield with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.
