“Tom is simply wonderful! He takes excellent care of my pups. He takes excellent pictures and describes their behavior to a tee. They are really funny descriptions and very much them. I would definitely recommend him.”

About: Ive taken care of dogs most of my life and owned one for 6 years. I’ve walked dogs big and small and my own has given me great experience with reactive dogs. I once worked as a kennel attendant for a local animal hospital which gave me experience with lots of different breeds and special feeding needs. I work full time so I am available evenings during the week, and anytime on the weekends when I’m not with my own furry friend I wont be offering any in home pet care services at this time. I live in a small apartment unit with a medium size dog
“Thank you, Jolene, for checking in on my two cats over a holiday weekend with a last minute booking! Jolene’s communication and timing was excellent. While checking on the cats, she filled their bowls, gave them treats, and brushed them. I appreciated her time and attention!”

“Caroline was AMAZING!! She was completely attentive to my cat’s needs and personality, and it was clear from the great vids and photos she sent that our kitty was very happy in her care. ☺️ I will definitely book with her again!”

“Tanya did a phenomenal job taking care of our fur babies while we were away on vacation. She was very thorough and maintained great communication with us during our time away. When we came back home our pets had food and waterbowls very clean. We will be happy to have Tanya help us again!”

About: I adopted my first dog in second grade. He was my responsibility and as I got older, I learned that I loved going for walks outside as much as my dog. Now that I'm older, I love taking friends' dogs for hikes in new locations. I have even managed to train one of my friend's reactive dog so she pulls on the leash less. I also briefly fostered animals when I was in graduate school. I am a teacher on summer break, so I have plenty of hours to devote to your pet and look forward to enjoying plenty of summer outside time with your dog. I have walked a wide range of dogs, including a couple of reactive pit bull mixes. I have experienced triggering situations with dogs and know how to either handle them or avoid them.
About: Hi everyone! I am an active dog lover who is excited to take care of your fur babies! I am very active so there will be lots of walks and hikes (unless not wanted). We also have a large fenced in back yard and great dog waking neighborhood. We also have a 2 year old Golden who gets along well and is around other dogs often. Looking forward to connecting. Any questions - don’t hesitate! I worked in the corporate world for 20 years and am fortunate to have the opportunity to take a year off and do what I love! I have a large fenced in yard, a 2 year old Golden Retriever and 3 kids. Husband is also a dog lover as his mother breeder German Shephards when he was a child. We “live” in our home but would require the dog be house trained (unless. Puppy).

“I would highly recommend Steven for your pet. He is conscientious and was wonderfully kind to my old girl. She needed meds, which he gave right on time everyday. And even let me know when I was running low. And best of all his "proof of lifr" photos we're a God send.”

About: I can assist with a baby or with keeping a senior comfortable! Administering medication, bathing, walks, litter and leash training, or a simple warm cuddle! Pet care is my full time gig. Within my currently visible schedule, I am fully available to assist you and your pets with all needs. I will take my time to allow your pet to adjust to my presence, long sniffs, silent observation, and predictable movements to keep your pet calm!
About: Having dogs my entire life has granted me the luxury of being comfortable with dogs of all ages, sizes and breeds. Currently, my mother and I are sharing custody of a rescue mutt. I'm also the go to dog sitter for my brother's pit bull terroir & lab. Just like us, our dogs need food, water, exercise and lots of love! I am happy to assist you with all of this and more. Including giving pet medications from pills to insulin. Open to discussing other needs not listed here! I currently work Monday through Thursday 8-5pm & Fridays 8-3pm in a dog friendly office. I do have an hour lunch break and am willing to use that time to stop by. My after work activities are extremely flexible! Weekends are also flexible and am happy to discuss overnight stays/boarding needs. If you're looking to board, please note that my condo association does not allow for 'large' dogs. There is also a 2 dog max. However, being comfortable with dogs of all sizes, I am sure we can work with my condo limits to meet your needs. If you have a fenced in yard I'm happy to throw a ball around or if your dog loves to destroy plush toys, happy to clean that up too! Hiking is also a personal love of mine and great for high energy pups.
“I needed a last minute visit for my Zoey. Molly got back to me right away. Since it was the next day we had a FaceTime meeting. Molly kept in touch the whole day with comments and I tired. I would definitely hire Molly for my next dog needs.”

I'm available for walks and drop-in visits throughout the week and I'm happy to work with your schedule whenever possible! Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I always follow care instructions closely, including feeding schedules, walking routines, medications, and any special needs. “Jodie’s flexibility is unmatched! Recently I had a family situation where I needed to change the schedule last minute and she was so compassionate and accommodating. Having her help during this trying time is such a relief!”

About: I have been a huge dog lover ever since I was little! I have two years of experience as a pet caregiver and love it! I am comfortable taking care of dogs any size and age, running with dogs, or just playing with your dog. I will always make sure they are safe and loved! I am working part time, but every week is a little different! Some weekdays days I am available anytime after 1pm, but other times I am available the whole day. I am also very available on weekends! While I do not take dogs in my home, I will always ensure that your home and dog are very well taken care of! I always want pets to be comfortable in their own space, so I will do whatever is needed in order to make that happen.

Michelle agreed to watch my new puppy with very short notice when I had to take my other dog to a vet. Her communication was very prompt and on point. I just got the puppy a week ago and I think I was that neurotic new mother who had too many requests. Mechelle was very understanding and open to my requests. She seemed to genuinely enjoy spending time with Bo (our new puppy) and send me the cutest pics. When I got home, Bo was asleep in his pen tired from all the playing. I decided to ask Michelle to come back regularly until Bo is a bit older so I can go to work rest assured that he is in good hands.

Julia was wonderful with my puppy! She was so gentle, patient, and kind, which really put me at ease as a first-time puppy parent. My pup warmed up to her right away upon first meeting. I can tell she is a gentle caring human. I truly appreciate the care and attention she gave him—highly recommend!

10 stars if possible. Jamie jumped in to help when I had a last minute emergency. She was great with my animals and communicating. I stopped worrying after Jamie’s first visit and report as it was clear that the animals were in capable and loving hands. Will ask (beg) her to look after my pets in a heartbeat

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
