About: I currently have two senior dogs of my own. I am currently pursuing my associate degree in animal science. I have taken several classes on canine behavior, nutrition, and common health issues. I'm currently working part time, but your pets will be my priority. I have pretty open availability. During the summer I don't have classes, so I am looking to fill my time. With my two senior dogs, I am experienced animals who have health issues and providing medication regularly. I have a safe, realible vehicle to transport the animals if needed. I have experience training and coping with difficult behaviors.
About: I've been around animals my entire life and have experience with both dogs and cats. I volunteered at the SPCALA animal shelter for several years, helping care for animals of all ages and personalities. I grew up with two cats and have also fostered pets, giving me experience helping animals adjust to new environments. I had a beloved dog who lived into her 20s, and my family recently foster-failed our newest dog. After recently moving to the area, I'm away from my dog and definitely missing having animals around every day. Caring for pets brings me so much joy, and I would love the opportunity to give your pets the same love, attention, and care that I've always given my own. I am currently on summer break from my teaching position and working remotely, which gives me a very flexible schedule throughout the week. Because my work is portable, I can be available for walks, drop-in visits, feeding, playtime, and companionship during hours when many sitters may be unavailable. My schedule allows me to give pets plenty of attention and care rather than just quick check-ins. As a teacher, I am responsible, patient, detail-oriented, and comfortable following routines, all of which translate well to providing dependable care for your pets. Whether I am caring for pets in my home or in a client's home, my priority is making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while maintaining their normal routine as much as possible. I live in a spacious apartment in a safe, pet-friendly neighborhood near a lake, which provides a great environment for walks, exercise, and enrichment. Potty breaks are easy and frequent since I live on the second floor with quick access outside. I make sure pets have plenty of attention, playtime, fresh water, feeding according to their schedule, and lots of affection. I understand that every pet has different needs and personalities, so I am happy to follow any instructions regarding routines, medications, exercise, training, or special care. When caring for pets in a client's home, I treat both the pets and the home with the same respect and care that I would my own.
“Sanela is a very responsive cat sitter and goes above and beyond. Our cat seemed ok at initial meeting but for the second visit our cat Beans was mean toward Sanela. It’s unfortunate but cats are cats, Sanela still stayed and gave her treats and shared photos.”

About: I have been a pet lover all my life! Because I live in a condo with no yard, my family and I agreed it is not fair to have any pets. As a compromise, we offer to pet sit for our family and friends every chance we get. I have taken care of new born kittens, cats of all ages, small and medium sized dogs as well as blind dogs. I am very comfortable with dogs and truly love them! I love to play, walk and snuggle! As a graduate student I have free time during the day to care for your pets and I live in a pet friendly home for your overnight needs. It would bring me great joy to take care of your pets!
“Jodie’s flexibility is unmatched! Recently I had a family situation where I needed to change the schedule last minute and she was so compassionate and accommodating. Having her help during this trying time is such a relief!”

About: I have cared for dogs of all kinds since I was young. Neighbors and friends have trusted me to check in on, feed, walk, and play with their dogs. During the school year, I also volunteer weekly at Vermont English Bulldog Rescue, where I walk dogs of all sizes and energy levels, clean crates, and assist with feeding and daily care. I’m dependable, patient, and treat every pet with love. I work part-time with a flexible schedule which gives me plenty of time to care for your pets. I'm available for walks and drop-in visits throughout the week and I'm happy to work with your schedule whenever possible! Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I always follow care instructions closely, including feeding schedules, walking routines, medications, and any special needs. I’ll treat your home and your pet with care, and I’ll keep you updated so you can feel confident while you’re away.

About: Hi! 😊 I have always loved being around animals, and I have spent most of my life around them. I also look after my family and friends pets when they travel. I am flexible on timing and would love to check in on your cats or pups while you are away any time visit is needed. 🥰 Pets need usual routine and I’d provide everything they need to feel safe and loved, including walks, playtime and rest to reduce stress. I love taking photos of our fun moments, and would gladly share with you! ♥️

“Tom was a fantastic sitter! He was reliable, communicative, friendly, and flexible throughout the process. He also got along great with our cat and sent helpful photos from his visits. We would absolutely hire him again.”

About: Hi everyone! I am an active dog lover who is excited to take care of your fur babies! I am very active so there will be lots of walks and hikes (unless not wanted). We also have a large fenced in back yard and great dog waking neighborhood. We also have a 2 year old Golden who gets along well and is around other dogs often. Looking forward to connecting. Any questions - don’t hesitate! I worked in the corporate world for 20 years and am fortunate to have the opportunity to take a year off and do what I love! I have a large fenced in yard, a 2 year old Golden Retriever and 3 kids. Husband is also a dog lover as his mother breeder German Shephards when he was a child. We “live” in our home but would require the dog be house trained (unless. Puppy).

About: Hi! I’m Alyssa, a preschool teacher at Harvard University living in Wakefield, MA. I spend my days caring for young children, so responsibility, patience, and communication are second nature to me. I’ve always loved animals and understand how important it is to feel confident leaving your pet in someone else’s care. I’ve had pets my whole life. Growing up, I had two cocker spaniels, Peter and Jack, and a yellow lab, Abby, from Guiding Eyes for the Blind. Abby technically “failed” her guide dog test — turns out she was just a little too excited about life and loved everyone a bit too enthusiastically, which meant we were lucky enough to keep her as our forever family dog. I also had two cats while living at home in New York, and now I have an orange cat of my own named Derby. I treat every pet like part of my family, making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. Because I work in education, I’m highly organized, dependable, and used to keeping families updated. I’m happy to send photos and regular check-ins so you can relax knowing your pet is in good hands. Below is my current walking schedule. Because I a full time teacher my availability may vary throughout the week. Monday: available starting at 4:30 pm Tuesday: available starting at 8:45 am Wednesday: available starting at 4:30 pm Thursday: available starting at 8:45 am Friday: rotating schedule please message to confirm availability Saturday: morning, afternoon, or evening I currently live in an apartment complex so unfortunately I am not allowed to have dogs here. But I can walk them and bring them to our small dog park if you live close to me!
About: Hey everyone! I’m Owen! I’ve always felt a special connection to all animals and have grown up surrounded by dogs and cats my whole life! Anyways, all I can say is I promise to take care of yours as if they were my own. As of right now, my schedule should be completely free! Look forward to meeting with you and your pets! Thanks for booking me if you do :) I have a fenced in yard. I have one amazing dog, Winston, who loves to have friends over and can help keep your dog busy! For me, pet care is 24/7. From the minute I wake up to the second I go to sleep. Feeding, exercise, playing, cuddling, etc. It never stops around here! I have a fenced in yard, a family who all loves dogs, and also a pup of my own to keep your fur baby busy!
“Adriana was attentive, communicative, and helpful throughout her visits with our pup. She even left him a sweet Christmas gift. We felt great knowing we had someone trustworthy keeping him safe while we were away. We would definitely use her again in the future.”

About: I've had pets growing up, and I was the main one caring for them. I've had dogs, a cat, guinea pigs, bunnies, fish, and a hamster. I love all animals, but mainly a dog lover! I have watched friends and family's pets. I did the basic care needs: walking, feeding, giving water, playing, and showing lots of love and attention. With my current dog, I have had to give her pills, so I also know different ways to give pills to dogs. I also know how to teach basic commands such as sit, stay, paw, and high-five. When I used to live in Texas, I volunteered to take a shelter senior dog for the day. I did basic care needs and even took him walking/running in a field before taking him back. I currently work a full-time job, anywhere from 7am-6pm on weekdays but I am free on weekends. I also don't mind going after work if you need someone to take your fur babies on a walk, do a check-in, or need to be fed/given water! I live with my boyfriend's family so unfortunately, I can't care for pets in my home. I don't mind just going to your house/apartment to care for your fur babies. I can take them for walks, play with them, keep them company, feed them, give them water, or even take them out the house for a little (a drive or even a walk around a store that allows pets).
“Thank you, Jolene, for checking in on my two cats over a holiday weekend with a last minute booking! Jolene’s communication and timing was excellent. While checking on the cats, she filled their bowls, gave them treats, and brushed them. I appreciated her time and attention!”

Reading dog parents share their Rover experiences
Michelle agreed to watch my new puppy with very short notice when I had to take my other dog to a vet. Her communication was very prompt and on point. I just got the puppy a week ago and I think I was that neurotic new mother who had too many requests. Mechelle was very understanding and open to my requests. She seemed to genuinely enjoy spending time with Bo (our new puppy) and send me the cutest pics. When I got home, Bo was asleep in his pen tired from all the playing. I decided to ask Michelle to come back regularly until Bo is a bit older so I can go to work rest assured that he is in good hands.

Julia was wonderful with my puppy! She was so gentle, patient, and kind, which really put me at ease as a first-time puppy parent. My pup warmed up to her right away upon first meeting. I can tell she is a gentle caring human. I truly appreciate the care and attention she gave him—highly recommend!

10 stars if possible. Jamie jumped in to help when I had a last minute emergency. She was great with my animals and communicating. I stopped worrying after Jamie’s first visit and report as it was clear that the animals were in capable and loving hands. Will ask (beg) her to look after my pets in a heartbeat
