About: I've had pets growing up, and I was the main one caring for them. I've had dogs, a cat, guinea pigs, bunnies, fish, and a hamster. I love all animals, but mainly a dog lover! I have watched friends and family's pets. I did the basic care needs: walking, feeding, giving water, playing, and showing lots of love and attention. With my current dog, I have had to give her pills, so I also know different ways to give pills to dogs. I also know how to teach basic commands such as sit, stay, paw, and high-five. When I used to live in Texas, I volunteered to take a shelter senior dog for the day. I did basic care needs and even took him walking/running in a field before taking him back. I currently work a full-time job, anywhere from 7am-6pm on weekdays but I am free on weekends. I also don't mind going after work if you need someone to take your fur babies on a walk, do a check-in, or need to be fed/given water! I live with my boyfriend's family so unfortunately, I can't care for pets in my home. I don't mind just going to your house/apartment to care for your fur babies. I can take them for walks, play with them, keep them company, feed them, give them water, or even take them out the house for a little (a drive or even a walk around a store that allows pets).
About: I’ve taken care of others dogs for a few years now, but I have had dogs of my own since I was 4 years old. I am currently living on SDSU campus and do not have a car, so you would need to be within walking distance. I am available all day any day! I will always make sure dogs are secure on leashes and safe with me. I will make sure it’s not too hot for them and they get the care they need
“Katy is the best! Like clockwork, we received a detailed update on each cat ensuring not only that they were fed, but details on their general well-being. Her pictures were the best pictures I've gotten of Nellie and Brett in 6 years. So grateful for Katy's all around reliability, communication, and fantastic personality!”

“We have asked Adriana to take care of our dog regularly when we leave town, and we never have to worry about him while we are away. We are thankful to have someone so trustworthy and communicative while we're gone! She surprises him with some of his favorite toys, even though she doesn't have to do that! We recommend her to anyone needing someone to take care of their pets.”

“It was my third time working with Yesika. She accommodated my last minute booking request. As always, Yesika was very punctual, responsive and communicative. My cat seemed to like her and feel comfortable around her, which was a big relief for me 🥰”

“Allison was fantastic. She came into my Bubba's life at his end, she was patient and went out of her way to make my old guy comfortable and most importantly happy. Of the almost 14 years Bubba was in my life, you can imagine how many pictures of him I have. Non of which are as good as the few Allison took while caring for him. People I can deal with, but it takes a very special person to deal with animals coming in and out of your life so frequently. Bubba and I appreciate that. Thank you.”

About: I absolutely loves animals! I have years of experience caring for my friends' dogs and treating them like my own. Your pet will receive plenty of love, attention, and playtime in a warm, welcoming home environment. I have loved animals since childhood. I have plenty of time to play with your pups, ensuring your pet always has company and attention. I have a fenced yard where dogs can run freely and securely. I have a fenced yard where dogs can run freely and securely. I understand the importance of routine and safety, treating every furry guest as a member of our own family.
“Elisangela watched our cats for the 3rd time, this being the longest trip. Our one cat takes time to warm up to people, even though she’s familiar with Elisangela. Elisangela gave her space and allowed our shy cat to come out at her own pace. It’s such a relief having someone we trust watch our animals while we are out of town! I am super thankful she was available to take care of them!”

“Charlene spent an evening with our pup while we were getting married. She made sure he has a walk, ate, has lots of play time, and was all tucked in at the end of the night. He looked happy as can be in all the pictures she sent!”

“Jennifer was great! Super responsive and great with our cats. Provided detailed updates and photos everyday and kept our cats happy. She even helped with other non-pet related tasks like mail and garbage. Highly recommend and will book again!”

About: I adopted my first dog in second grade. He was my responsibility and as I got older, I learned that I loved going for walks outside as much as my dog. Now that I'm older, I love taking friends' dogs for hikes in new locations. I have even managed to train one of my friend's reactive dog so she pulls on the leash less. I also briefly fostered animals when I was in graduate school. I am a teacher on summer break, so I have plenty of hours to devote to your pet and look forward to enjoying plenty of summer outside time with your dog. I have walked a wide range of dogs, including a couple of reactive pit bull mixes. I have experienced triggering situations with dogs and know how to either handle them or avoid them.
“Our first experience with Bonnie was great. I could tell my little girl kitty, Fitsy, was well cared for. Sometimes when we travel, she won't eat well and looks a little skinny when we return, and she's really needy. This trip, we returned, and she almost looks a little chubby. Instead of being really needy of affection, she was just happy to see us and seemed perfectly content. I'm so grateful to have found Bonnie and wholeheartedly recommend her.”

About: I have helped take care of friends and families dogs/pets for about 5 years now. I have overnight sat for friends and took care of their dogs that required special feeding and medication instructions. I also helped train my own dog with stuff like sit and paw. I am currently working part-time in the hospital as an aide. I will not be working for most of the summer, so I will have plenty of time to check in on dogs or even stay over night at houses to pet sit. I have a fenced in yard and a long, strong lead if needed for dogs that can be escape artists. I also am strong enough to hold bigger dogs that can pull.

“Kathryne took excellent care of our 2 dogs and at last-minute notice! She was very responsive to messages and flexible when there was a slight schedule change. Would not hesitate to book again!”

“Gina is awesome! She was flexible with her schedule and patient with me. She is so friendly and was very good with my 9 week old puppy. Will definitely work with her again, thank you Gina!!!”

Dalia is an exceptionally responsible and detail-oriented person. She is very kind and caring with dogs, and often goes above and beyond expectations by taking on extra work. She is highly reliable, and I strongly recommend her. I will definitely continue working with Dalia in the future.

Maude was so wonderful and did a fantastic job watching our two cats while we were away. Her daily updates and great communication made us feel more than comfortable while we could focus on a relaxing vacation. I'd absolutely hire her again in a heartbeat. Thanks Maude!
Anna was available at the last minute and was a great communicator, asked questions for clarification before she even started the visit! She even managed to win over our cats who almost always hide from pet sitters! She went above and beyond to make sure our doggo was well taken care of! Thanks Anna!

Michelle agreed to watch my new puppy with very short notice when I had to take my other dog to a vet. Her communication was very prompt and on point. I just got the puppy a week ago and I think I was that neurotic new mother who had too many requests. Mechelle was very understanding and open to my requests. She seemed to genuinely enjoy spending time with Bo (our new puppy) and send me the cutest pics. When I got home, Bo was asleep in his pen tired from all the playing. I decided to ask Michelle to come back regularly until Bo is a bit older so I can go to work rest assured that he is in good hands.

Kristis is very professional, knowledgeable, easy to work with and with strong communication skills. She is super reliable. Because Kristin is super reliable, we trust her judgment. We highly recommend Kristin and any pet would be so lucky to meet her. We as her client are so happy and impressed with her excellent services and professionalism

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking.
