He stayed at our place for a week and watched our dog that doesn't really like new people while we were traveling. “Jessica is fantastic! I have two cats Buttercup and Reese whom jess went from watching part time to full time due to private health stuff. Jess went above and beyond with both animals lives! Buttercup required a specific, fine tuned, diet due to his weight, which she always abided by. Reese who struggles to adapt to new people ended up loving her very quickly! Jess always left my home in impeccable condition with litter boxes clean and floors swept to perfection! At one point Jessica believed my Buttercup was having a health emergency due to his posture and noises being made but her communication was perfect! She was transparent and easy to reach that day and included video of the animal so I knew what we were dealing with. She had taken it upon herself to check the availability with my local vet and when she was going to take Buttercup to the emergency room we both realized he was just hungry ( he would do the craziest things for attention / food )!! Overall I could not be happier with Jess as a long time neighbor and small business owner I believe she is one of the best sitters in the North-shore area!”

“Shannon watched our 7 yo dog and 11 yo cat for 9 nights in our home while we were away. It’s nerve-racking to leave yours pets and home in the care of someone you don’t really know, but Shannon made it easy. She was super communicative, conscientious, and treated our pets and home as if they were her own. Honestly, I think our pets enjoyed their own little vacation getting even more walks, adventures, cuddles, and attention with Shannon than they do when sharing their time with our toddler! Shannon’s background working in vet offices was also helpful in making suggestions for behaviors she noticed from our pets, which was an added bonus. I’d absolutely hire Shannon again and would recommend her to anyone else looking for a friendly, respectful, trustworthy house- and pet-sitter.”

About: I’m a musician, violin teacher, pet sitter and dog walker. I love and respect all living beings. I grew up with pets my whole life, at some point I had 8 dogs, 4 cats and 1 duck all at the same time! I understand pets and connect with dogs so easily my husband calls me “The Dog Whisperer”. One of my dreams is to build a sanctuary for rescue dogs in the country side. I currently don’t have a yard of my own but I live near big parks, fenced playgrounds and hiking trails that I can walk to and visit with your dog. I have 5 years of experience as a pet sitter and dog walker and I’ll be happy to provide loving care, excercise and attention to your pet! I currently work from home and I also walk other dogs around the neighborhood. There’s days I’m home all day and others that I leave the house for an hour or two at a time to run an errand or walk a dog in the neighborhood. Having pets my whole life I’m aware of all the hazards and safety measures to take around them. I always double/triple check that the doors are locked behind me, I’m attentive and keep an eye on the pets I’m sitting. I live with family and we all look after each other. Everyone at my place loves animals and we all love having pets around!
