We’re comfortable with dogs of all types; every size, age, energy level, etc. We both have had dogs since the day we were born. My first dog was a black lab that was a year older than me. When I was 8 we got a golden retriever and I was responsible for feeding and walking every day. He even slept in my bedroom every night. Over the years I had 2 more goldens and a shitzu. My wife grew up with a jack russell, several dachshunds, a PBGV and a Chihuahua. I’m very active, so high-energy dogs get plenty of walks, yard play, and hikes on the nearby trails. My wife has a soft spot for senior dogs and gives older pups the slower pace and extra care they need. I run my own local business and my wife works from home, so someone is almost always around. Your dog won’t spend the day alone. You’ll get photos and updates throughout every stay. Fenced yard, walkable neighborhood, and hiking nearby. Guest dogs are part of the family here. They’re free to roam the house, hang out with us on the couch, and sleep wherever they’re comfortable. No crates or kennels unless your dog prefers one. Was on a trip to MA for the weekend. Very happy that I found Marcia to take care of my dog for the day while I was out. She provided a lot of pictures and updates without me having to ask. Unfortunately, one of my dogs has cancer and I have a week of early morning trainings for work. (530a drop offs- Yikes!). Yesika is still willing to take her every day, work with the energy that she has that day, and offs care across the day (additional small meals, medication for nausea,etc). So glad that I have this resource.
Brianna has taken such good care of Oliver at a really hard time for him. He is so happy to see her and her home is such warm and cozy for my dog. She communicates perfectly to let me relax after I drop him. You can tell Brianna really loves the dogs she cares for.
Took my greyhound, Judy, to stay with Luci and her family for 2 doggy daycares. Judy is typically timid around new environments but warmed up quickly to them and absolutely loved spending time with everyone and the other dogs being watched. Definitely will be using Luci again!
Leyna was so communicative before, during, and after Finn’s stay. She was happy to answer questions prior to booking and sent lots of photos throughout the day.
