About: I have had a pet dog for eleven years and have pet-sat for various people over the past 5 years. I also graduated from Eckerd college with a degree in animal studies, and have taken several classes related to animal welfare and behavior. About: I’ve had cats since I was 8 years old. With the 16 years of experience with cats, I believe every fur baby needs a home away from home. You got it. Has explosive diarrhea? I have cleaning supplies. Medical issues? Another way to keep me on my toes. My classes are usually over by 2 pm, so after then I’m usually at my apartment caring for my cat and completing schoolwork. So needless to say, I have a lot of flexibility within my schedule for your pets individual needs. If I am doing home visits, I would like to visit the clients home a day or two prior to the arranged visit(s) to understand the animals needs and to see if we would be a good fit. I believe it is important to establish an understanding with the animal in question before I frequent the premises so there isn’t any unnecessary stress for your pet. In regards to boarding, I have a medium sized apartment that would be good for any cat or small-medium dog. There are multiple grassy areas for bathroom breaks and walks around the premises. You will have to provide me with your animals usual schedule (times for bathroom breaks, when and how much time are committed to walks, feeding times, etc.) so I can build my set around them and their needs

About: I’ve had dogs my whole life. I’ve had both small and large dogs, my last two being very well trained Rottweilers. I would love to have another dog, but I now have grandchildren that I care for and don’t have the time I would need for a full time pet. I’m hoping to get my fix caring for your dog(s) part time. I have had experience with training my dogs and I understand a dog’s need for companionship, love, attention and good exercise. Overnights, I’m available so stay over and care for your pet on Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday nights. I do run some errands on the weekends and do some food shopping, but I’d be available to make sure your dog is fed, exercised and taken out to the bathroom throughout the day, and to spend time keeping them company. I would care for your pets the same way I’ve cared for mine. Feeding, walking, playing, attention and affection and keeping them safe. I understand that they miss their families when they are away, so I would like to establish some familiarity with your pet so they look forward to my filling in.

Jalina was exceptional in the lead up to the stay; after a 30min video call to get to know each other and review the space (and the pup), we sent over a reference document in advance with specifics, which she reviewed promptly (and had questions on). We had an hour-long visit a few days in advance, split between going for a walk and going over the fiddly house items, which was great. On the day of departure, she arrived promptly, got settled in, and we went to the airport. We got daily updates on the dog, and Ceci seemed to have a lovely time with her, in her own space and her own routine; Jalina made sure she was very well cared for! Due to a delayed flight, we didn’t have any crossover of us getting back and her leaving, but we coordinated via messaging (super prompt) and we came back to our space just as we left it. Based on this stay with us, we’d recommend Jalina to anyone!
Diane is a true professional. She's dogsat for us for several years and handles all our dog's quirks and anything else that comes up with good humor and stellar communication. Couldn't be more comfortable leaving our pup in her capable hands when we go out of town.
