About: I am a registered nurse with a lifelong love of animals. I have always had pets since I was a little girl. I worked at an animal hospital throughout high school and college, I gained a lot of pet care experience there. I also worked on a farm growing up where I took care of horses, cats and dogs! I know how important it is to trust someone with your animals, as I have 2 kitties I care for very much! I am confident in handling all types of pet personalities and needs. I currently work 3 days per week not on a set schedule. I have 4 days off per week which is why I would love to do dog walking/sitting on those off days! I live in a dog friendly neighborhood in Watertown, MA. I love to walk around Fresh Pond, I also live near several dog parks! I can’t wait to meet your pup :)

About: I've been taking care of dogs since I was 10, have experience with senior dogs! I am at home all the time, and your dog will have my undivided attention I'm home all day, except for running a quick errand or two, so your pet will have my undivided attention! I also love going on walks or runs and cuddling with your fur baby if they'll let me I have a fenced yard where your dog can have supervised playtime and a large living room where your pet and I can hang out. About: I've had a dog (weimaraner) for most of my childhood, he was my buddy. I have boarded dogs at my house (senior rottweiler, pug, aussie, pitbull, red heeler) and walked neighborhood dogs (lab, border collie, goldendoodle) multiple times over the past 5 years, from adolescent to senior. I currently volunteer at a dog rescue, mostly with the thrift store but also spending time with the dogs. I truly enjoy having dogs around, I am not able to have my own at the moment and so I enjoy the time I get with dogs in need and neighborhood pets. I'm currently volunteering for 5 hours at a time, 2-3 days a week on Sunday and Monday, and I will be starting a job soon, so I will make sure to update my schedule once that is available to me. I can spend time with your dog all day when available to provide company, pets, and throw a frisbee in the yard, but I am also very comfortable taking dogs on long walks. I am pretty good about reading dogs' mannerisms and trying to adapt my activity based on their personality. If I'm new to a dog, I will try and make sure I do something with them they love to earn their trust.

Weekdays: 9:00am - 1:00pm Weekends: Anytime Ideally I’d walk or run to your home and for dog walking, I'd typically do 15-45 minute walks depending on your pet’s needs but I am flexible upon request. Weekends are usually free for me as well. I love being active and outside and am always running, walking or swimming so this is the perfect way for me to get a companion to join me on a walk or for some fresh air :) I’m great at following any instructions given so your pets will be in great hands! I grew up with dogs and can’t wait to get my own again some day- but my personal experience with animals will certainly help me take care of your pets.

Alyssa did a great job feeding my 2 cats while I was away for a week! She arrived at a similar time every day and fed them and cleaned their litter boxes. At once point their automatic feeder and water fountain needed to be refilled, and she did both of these as well. My 2 cats have different diets, and I gave her instructions on how to feed them differently, and she did a great job with that as well! She was very responsive and sent photos and updates every day. Overall I would definitely recommend Alyssa if you need drop in visits while away, and I will definitely use her again if needed. I felt a peace of mind knowing that she was taking care of my kitties.
Susie took great care of our 2 energetic 18-month-old cats while we were out of the country for a week. She came reliably twice a day to feed them, play with them, and keep their litter box clean, and she kept us posted with adorable photos. This was our first time leaving these cats with a stranger, and Susie did a lovely job of keeping them happy and allaying our concerns.
