I plan my days around animals anyway (I have three of my own!), so it’s easy for me to fit in walks, drop-in visits, or house sitting. I do only offer services outside of my home so I can keep a good routine for my pets, but that also means when I’m with your pet, they get my full attention.

I always follow your house rules and stick to your pet’s normal routine—whatever they’re used to is what makes them feel the most comfortable. Your pet is definitely my top priority when I’m there. I’m pretty attentive, so I’ll keep an eye on their behavior and mood, and I’ll send you regular updates and photos so you know how they’re doing.

I’d love to know your pet’s personality and preferences ahead of time—things like their favorite activities, energy level, and temperament. Every pet is different, so this really helps me care for them in a way that feels natural to them. It’s also super helpful to know about their diet, feeding schedule, and any allergies (I usually carry treats with me, but I always want to make sure they’re safe for your pet!). And of course, anything else you’d like me to pay special attention to—habits, quirks, things they love or don’t like. The more I know, the better I can make them feel comfortable and happy :)
A typical day
For cats, I love keeping things fun but also respecting their personalities. I have tons of toys for my own cats, so I’m used to interactive play—but I also know every cat is different. Some love chasing toys and being active, while others prefer just hanging out nearby (my two cats are totally opposite!). I always follow their lead and make sure they’re comfortable while still getting some enrichment. For dogs, it’s the same idea—tailored to what they enjoy. I’m happy to do walks, playtime, or enrichment activities depending on their energy level and personality. With my own dog, I do things like food enrichment (West Paw toys), multiple walks a day, and interactive games like tug, so I’m very used to keeping dogs mentally and physically engaged. Overall, I just try to make sure each pet is having a good time in their own way 😊

What sets me apart is my deep, hands-on experience and intuition with both cats and dogs. I’ve had my own cats since 2018, and through multiple moves across three different states (and 10+ apartments!), I’ve learned how sensitive cats are to environmental changes. I pay close attention to their behavior and subtle signals, helping them feel safe, comfortable, and stress-free in any setting. I also adopted my dog in 2021, and she’s been an incredibly important part of my life. As a large-breed dog and my first, she’s taught me a lot—from managing energy levels and understanding individual temperament (she’s not a fan of dog parks, and that’s okay!) to developing feeding strategies, including preparing balanced homemade raw meals. This experience has helped me become very attentive to each pet’s unique needs rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach. Caring for my own pets ultimately inspired me to pivot my career path. After working as a biopharma researcher for 3.5 years, I’m now preparing to apply to veterinary school and am currently shadowing veterinarians to deepen my knowledge.
