“Ailish is a wonderful sitter!! She took excellent care of our two dogs and home. She is super nice, friendly, and easy to communicate with. I very highly recommend her and will have her sit for us again in the future.”

About: I've always loved animals - I grew up around them on a small farm, took a couple years of animal science schooling, and currently volunteer on the Canine Enrichment team at a local shelter. Throughout these experiences, I've helped care for all kinds of animals with all types of needs. I'm no stranger to administering medications, helping dogs settle down, and knowing when a puppy "needs to go." While my life used to be an abundance of animals, now I just live with my sweet little kitty, Chef Mac. So, don't hesitate to reach out - I have plenty of space in my home and my heart for your pet! 𝑬𝒙𝒑𝒆𝒓𝒊𝒆𝒏𝒄𝒆 𝑪𝒂𝒓𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑭𝒐𝒓: → 🐶🐱 The Usual - Dogs, Cats → 🐹🐁🐰 Lil Fuzzy Guys - Guinea Pigs, Hamsters, Rats, Ferrets, Chinchillas, Rabbits → 🐴🐔🐐 Barnyard Animals - Horses, Chickens, Goats → 🦎🐍 Scaly Friends - Bearded Dragons, Geckos, Snakes By the way, I love taking pictures and writing as a hobby. So, you'll be getting a lot of informative, photo-rich updates! 𝑭𝒓𝒆𝒒𝒖𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒍𝒚 𝑨𝒔𝒌𝒆𝒅 𝑸𝒖𝒆𝒔𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏𝒔 "𝙸'𝚖 𝚘𝚞𝚝 𝚘𝚏 𝚛𝚊𝚗𝚐𝚎!" Send the request anyway! I tell Rover I'm willing to drive 15 minutes. We all live in Boston, right? So we know 15 minutes is kind of a vibe. If you're in the Boston Metro or North Shore area, we can probably make it work. "𝙸 𝚍𝚘𝚗'𝚝 𝚑𝚊𝚟𝚎 𝚊 𝚌𝚊𝚛!" I do! Just let me know and I can likely do pickup and drop-off. The number I put in my profile is a general estimate. I'll look at how much gas it will take to reach you, plus time, then I'll send you a quote. It'll probably be cheaper than ridesharing! 𝑺𝒑𝒆𝒄𝒊𝒂𝒍 𝑸𝒖𝒂𝒍𝒊𝒇𝒊𝒄𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏𝒔 I am in the process of becoming Fear Free Certified and just enrolled in dog training classes. With your permission, I'd love to practice what I'm learning! I work freelance from home - so I have tons of flexibility to work around your pet's schedule (or, your hectic schedule!). Just a few exceptions: -> I volunteer once a week at the animal shelter on Mondays from 12 to 2. This is the only hard-and-fast time that I need to be out of the home. -> I do run a morning route with other animals. This means your pet will be alone for between one to four hours per day. Otherwise, there is almost always someone in the house. -> Sundays and Mondays are marked as unavailable for default on my calendar, but that's just because I can't help during midday. I have evenings available, though! Current special availability below: 𝚂𝚞𝚗𝚍𝚊𝚢𝚜 - 𝙰𝚟𝚊𝚒𝚕𝚊𝚋𝚕𝚎 𝚊𝚏𝚝𝚎𝚛 𝟼𝚙𝚖 𝙼𝚘𝚗𝚍𝚊𝚢𝚜 - 𝙰𝚟𝚊𝚒𝚕𝚊𝚋𝚕𝚎 𝚊𝚏𝚝𝚎𝚛 𝟹𝚙𝚖 - Before the appointment, we will align on expectations and your pet's daily needs. This will help us maintain a consistent routine and minimize stress to your pet. If any items seem challenging to fulfill, I'll proactively inform you of that. - If your pet will be visiting my home, they must tolerate cats. All boarding appointments will have a free Meet and Greet so we can screen for prey drive to ensure the safety of both animals. - If you're booking a boarding appointment for one dog, I might accept a boarding appointment for a second dog from a different family that is a similar size. If you'd like exclusive access to the house, please say so! - If you're booking for a cat, we will not book a new dog at the time that you reserve without your express permission. They will only stay with other cats and small animals. - While my yard is technically fenced, your dog will always be leashed and taken on walks for their safety.
“Andrew is a great dog sitter. He was very accommodating when our previous dog sitter cancelled on us. He is easy to communicate with and is great with dogs. He stayed at our place for a week and watched our dog that doesn't really like new people while we were traveling. We came back home to a happy puppy, it was nice to know that she was well taken care of. Highly recommend.”

“Omar was so wonderful and professional with our senior cat and senior dog. He was respectful of our home while house sitting and left it in great condition! Omar is also genuinely a wonderful guy, super great to work with and trustworthy. We can’t wait to book him again!”

“Natalie is the absolute best for our dog. We went for a week long trip and Natalie stayed in our home. Let me start off by saying that we came back to the house even better than we left it. Natalie kept us up to date and treated Tia and our house as her own. She made sure to clean up any and all messes. And cleaned up a mess from Tia’s accident better than even we could. She even went through our trashes and washed her own sheets. Natalie will be our go-to sitter going forward and highly recommend her to all”

About: I am a college student who majors in Biomedical Sciences and plans to attend veterinary school after graduation. I have always had a love for animals, especially dogs, since I was young, and have helped care for my own dog since childhood. My passion for animal care has been my motivation to pursue a future in veterinary medicine. Along with caring for my own dogs, I have had experience with dog sitting and dog walking. I am comfortable caring for dogs of all sizes and personalities while making sure they are happy, safe, active, and well cared for. I am currently a college student home for summer break, and I am looking for part-time work. I am available almost every day until August 1st. I will be home again for Thanksgiving break, winter break, and spring break. When caring for pets in my client's home, I would follow the pet's normal routine and follow any additional instructions my client has left me while playing and caring for their pet.
“Pan had a fabulous time with James. James treated Pan with love and care as if he were his own pup. We received transparent and timely communication, he shared lots of great photos and even took Pan on some fun field trips during the week. Would absolutely book again!”

About: I have helped take care of friends and families dogs/pets for about 5 years now. I have overnight sat for friends and took care of their dogs that required special feeding and medication instructions. I also helped train my own dog with stuff like sit and paw. I am currently working part-time in the hospital as an aide. I will not be working for most of the summer, so I will have plenty of time to check in on dogs or even stay over night at houses to pet sit. I have a fenced in yard and a long, strong lead if needed for dogs that can be escape artists. I also am strong enough to hold bigger dogs that can pull.
“I’m afraid to leave this review because Sasha may have less availability in the future, not that I’m so influential…lol. However, I must say that my dogs, who have separation anxiety, took to Sasha like no other dog sitter we have had! The communication and engagement throughout her stay was excellent. We got pictures and feedback while she was with the dogs and she answered all our messages very quickly. I could tell by the pictures that our girls were very comfortable and happy and that means the world to us. Perhaps these empty nesters will actually get to go away for a weekend in the near future! Sasha welcomed my list of instructions and followed through and left our dogs and our home in great shape. I couldn’t be happier!”

About: Hi! I'm a lifelong animal lover who grew up around dogs and puppies thanks to my dad, a responsible dog breeder. Caring for dogs was a big part of my life from an early age, and I gained hands-on experience with dogs of different breeds, ages, and personalities. I grew to love cats as well when my best friend adopted two cats and we all lived together for several years. Since then, I've had the pleasure of pet sitting for puppies, dogs, and cats for friends, family, and clients. I'm dependable, communicative, and happy to provide regular updates and photos so you can feel confident that your pets are happy and well cared for while you're away. As an animal lover who's new to the Boston area and currently unable to have pets in my apartment, pet sitting is a wonderful way for me to spend time with animals while helping pet owners travel or work with peace of mind. I work from home, which gives me a flexible schedule and allows me to accommodate walks, drop-ins, and pet care throughout the day. When petsitting at your home, I can be there all day if you have wifi and a place for me to use my laptop, or I can pop in during the day and stay overnight. I always try to keep pets comfortable by maintaining their normal routines as closely as possible. Whether that means sticking to a feeding schedule, going on regular walks, playing, administering basic medications, or simply providing companionship, I pay close attention to each pet's individual needs and personality. Safety is my top priority. I make sure doors, gates, harnesses, and leashes are secure, and I closely supervise pets during walks and outdoor time. I also understand the importance of following any instructions you provide regarding your pet's care, behavior, or medical needs. When staying in a client's home, I treat both the pets and the home with the utmost respect. I'm tidy, responsible, and communicative, and I'm happy to provide regular updates and photos so you can enjoy your time away with peace of mind.
“Anna is wonderful. We have utilized her services a few times now with our golden retriever puppy, and will continue to use her whenever we need. She is always responsive and will send pictures and videos whenever she is sitting. So happy to have found her!”

“We had a great experience leaving our dogs, cat, and home in Annie's care! She was communicative and shared lots of photos but also gave us the freedom to enjoy our time away. The animals seemed to enjoy their time with her and the house was in great shape when we came home. Really all you can ask for! We look forward to using Annie's services again in the future.”

“Emily was great, we will definitely use her again! She was extremely communicative and great about making plans. She sent us lots of great photos and updates throughout our trip and took great care of our pup and our home!”

About: I have taken care of pets for animals for well over 20 years and was the manager of a pet sitting and dog walking business for a few years as well. I was also an assistant to an ethical dog breeder and helped deliver and raise a litter of teacup schnauzers. For the past year I was traveled full time in the UK and Canada as a pet and house sitter. I enjoyed it so much wanted to keep taking gigs now that I'm back in the US! I love learning the personalities of each of my pet clients and learning to adapt to their quirks. I'm getting pretty good at taking pet pics so you may get something frameable in one of my pet updates! Apart from working part time as a massage therapist on the weekends in ~4.5 hour shifts, I mostly work from home so your pet would have company more often than not. I know how to administer oral and topical medications and can be easily trained to administer IV medications if needed. I work part time in short shifts (less than 6 hours), so I will be in my clients' homes with their pets most of the time. I can provide additional references both for pet care and general care of property from airbnb reviews. I try to leave the place better than I found it and provide check ins and pictures for peace of mind.
About: I have had pets since I was a child including birds, guinea pigs, ferrets, cats and dogs. My condo is too small for a pet so I love taking care of pets for family and friends! I work from home 3 days a week so I am able to pet sit or take care of your pet most days of the week. I love to cuddle with animals so they feel comfortable without their owner. I am also very attentive to bathroom breaks and if your pet has something they are not supposed to have.

Wonderful experience! Jillian was attentive, communicative, responsible, and very sweet with my cat. My house was left clean and tidy, and I felt completely comfortable knowing my cat was in her care. Most importantly, my cat genuinely liked her, which says a lot. I would happily book her again.

Mandy & Daniel took such amazing care of our girls, Isla and Ivy, while we were away in Minnesota this past weekend. They were incredibly communicative the entire time, which we really appreciated, and they sent multiple updates and photos every day that gave us so much peace of mind. They truly went above and beyond! They brought the girls treats and puzzle toys, and made sure they felt loved and entertained while we were gone. They even saved Isla’s canine tooth when it fell out while we were away (she’s our 4 month old puppy), which was such a thoughtful thing to do! We could tell our dogs were in great hands the whole time. We’ll absolutely be using Mandy & Daniel again in the future and would highly recommend them to anyone in the area looking for caring, reliable dog sitters!

Daniel is a fantastic, caring and responsible sitter, who has stayed with our dog in our home a couple of times now. Went above and beyond in ensuring we'd return to a happy dog and an orderly house. Dan even kindly waited when our return flight was delayed. A truly kind, true hard act to follow.
We’ve booked with Illeanna a few times now to watch our dog. He’s anxious around new people and has diabetes and needs an insulin shot after every meal, so finding a good sitter is super important. We trust her to take care of him when we’re gone. We get pix and updates often. Would recommend and book again!

Anka is a great house sitter! She always leaves our place clean, with dishes/linens used in the wash. And most importantly, our dogs LOVE her. She keeps us updated with pics and handles snafus (getting into the garbage -our fault!) with grace and care. And she makes sure our girls get plenty of time outside. She also easily coordinates with my friend when we need a mid-day walker when she has a long work day. Highly recommend Anka to care for your pets & home

Sherry is amazing sitter! She is very reliable, communicative! She took care of my dog Taffy like her own. I received great updates, photos, and messages, which gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. My dog Taffy looked very happy, relaxed, and well cared for when I am back. I really appreciated how easy Sherry made the whole process. I would definitely book with Sherry again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable person for their fur babies!

Alice is my go-to sitter when I need to leave my dog for a trip and she always goes above and beyond. My dog loves her and she makes sure to keep me supplied with pictures while I’m gone. She also keeps exceptional care of my house while I’m gone, often leaving it in even better shape than she found it. I can’t recommend Alice enough!

Kirsten & Carmelo did a great job watching over our two dogs while we were on vacation. One of our dogs is not a big fan of new people and the other dog does not like other dogs which makes walking them together very difficult, but Kirsten and Carmelo did a great job managing their competing personalities. The dogs also got a lot of love and plenty of time playing soccer in our backyard!
