Reliable and Caring Pet Sitting!
I've been pet sitting and house sitting for friends and coworkers for over 10 years. After taking about 2 years off to focus on work, I'm excited to be back and spending time with furry friends again! I have experience caring for dogs ranging from young pups to 16-year-old seniors and am comfortable with feeding, walks, playtime, medications, and maintaining your pet's normal routine. I have also cared for a handful of cats! Since I'm unable to have pets of my own due to housing rules, I truly appreciate the opportunity to care for yours. (The chowchow pictured is my very first fur nephew!) My goal is to make sure your pet feels safe, happy, and loved while you're away, and to give you peace of mind through reliable, attentive care and regular updates. My goal is to keep pets comfortable by maintaining their normal routines and environment while their owners are away. I carefully follow feeding schedules, walk and exercise routines, medication instructions (if needed), and any other specific care preferences. I have experience caring for pets of all ages, from young, energetic dogs to senior pets who may need extra attention and patience. I also have experience caring for pets in both suburban neighborhoods and busy urban settings, including downtown Boston. Safety is always my top priority, and I stay vigilant during walks and outings to ensure both the pet and I remain safe and secure.
Ratings and reviews
I highly recommend Rifah as a responsible and loving pet caretaker. My dog Yogi loves his walks as much as snuggling on the couch. Yogi is a good dog but easily gets distracted on walks. I can always trust Rifah will keep a close eye on my buddy and keep him safe. She is also respectful of my home and leaves it just the way she found it (even on muddy days). ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Rifah is kind and wonder caregiver to both pets and their owners. I have know rifah since 2011 and she has always been wonder with my families two golden doodles.
Rifah was great with our senior dog. Max tends to be very shy and although it took some time to warm up, by the 3rd time around he would approach Rifah himself. Her daily check-ins were appreciated. Max is no longer with us but Rifah took good care of our sweetie whenever we needed her.
Rifah is a great cat sitter and continues to help me out when I'm away weeks at a time. She's keen, responsible and an animal lover by heart. She does not think of this as money making gig but more of a fun hang out with my cat and spoils my cat with treats and games when she can just do the bare minimum and clean the litter and feed the cat. She's 5/5 stars!
Milo, my 2 almost 3 year old pup was relaxed when I am home, which is a fantastic sign! Rifah’s daily photos and notes were reassuring. I’ll definitely contact her for future visits.
Rifah looked after my 4 year old Aussie Shepherd back in 2018. She was very attentive to Max’s needs. Being a Aussie he had so much energy, and Rifah made sure he got his exercise by taking him to dog parks and playing with him throughout the day. I always had peace of mind leaving Max with Rifah as I had to travel for work a lot. She’s reliable and just an overall awesome person.

Schedule
I’m currently work semi-remotely for a Pharma company. I do have to go in once a month but I have a pretty flexible schedule which allows me to pursue something that I enjoy.
