“We're so grateful to Melissa for taking such good care of our wonderful but neurotic dog Birdie! Melissa is communicative, responsible, and clearly loves dogs. We would have her to sit for Birdie again anytime.”

About: I've always loved animals - I grew up around them on a small farm, took a couple years of animal science schooling, and currently volunteer on the Canine Enrichment team at a local shelter. Throughout these experiences, I've helped care for all kinds of animals with all types of needs. I'm no stranger to administering medications, helping dogs settle down, and knowing when a puppy "needs to go." While my life used to be an abundance of animals, now I just live with my sweet little kitty, Chef Mac. So, don't hesitate to reach out - I have plenty of space in my home and my heart for your pet! 𝑬𝒙𝒑𝒆𝒓𝒊𝒆𝒏𝒄𝒆 𝑪𝒂𝒓𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑭𝒐𝒓: → 🐶🐱 The Usual - Dogs, Cats → 🐹🐁🐰 Lil Fuzzy Guys - Guinea Pigs, Hamsters, Rats, Ferrets, Chinchillas, Rabbits → 🐴🐔🐐 Barnyard Animals - Horses, Chickens, Goats → 🦎🐍 Scaly Friends - Bearded Dragons, Geckos, Snakes By the way, I love taking pictures and writing as a hobby. So, you'll be getting a lot of informative, photo-rich updates! 𝑭𝒓𝒆𝒒𝒖𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒍𝒚 𝑨𝒔𝒌𝒆𝒅 𝑸𝒖𝒆𝒔𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏𝒔 "𝙸'𝚖 𝚘𝚞𝚝 𝚘𝚏 𝚛𝚊𝚗𝚐𝚎!" Send the request anyway! I tell Rover I'm willing to drive 15 minutes. We all live in Boston, right? So we know 15 minutes is kind of a vibe. If you're in the Boston Metro or North Shore area, we can probably make it work. "𝙸 𝚍𝚘𝚗'𝚝 𝚑𝚊𝚟𝚎 𝚊 𝚌𝚊𝚛!" I do! Just let me know and I can likely do pickup and drop-off. The number I put in my profile is a general estimate. I'll look at how much gas it will take to reach you, plus time, then I'll send you a quote. It'll probably be cheaper than ridesharing! 𝑺𝒑𝒆𝒄𝒊𝒂𝒍 𝑸𝒖𝒂𝒍𝒊𝒇𝒊𝒄𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏𝒔 I am in the process of becoming Fear Free Certified and just enrolled in dog training classes. With your permission, I'd love to practice what I'm learning! I work freelance from home - so I have tons of flexibility to work around your pet's schedule (or, your hectic schedule!). Just a few exceptions: -> I volunteer once a week at the animal shelter on Mondays from 12 to 2. This is the only hard-and-fast time that I need to be out of the home. -> I do run a morning route with other animals. This means your pet will be alone for between one to four hours per day. Otherwise, there is almost always someone in the house. -> Sundays and Mondays are marked as unavailable for default on my calendar, but that's just because I can't help during midday. I have evenings available, though! Current special availability below: 𝚂𝚞𝚗𝚍𝚊𝚢𝚜 - 𝙰𝚟𝚊𝚒𝚕𝚊𝚋𝚕𝚎 𝚊𝚏𝚝𝚎𝚛 𝟼𝚙𝚖 𝙼𝚘𝚗𝚍𝚊𝚢𝚜 - 𝙰𝚟𝚊𝚒𝚕𝚊𝚋𝚕𝚎 𝚊𝚏𝚝𝚎𝚛 𝟹𝚙𝚖 - Before the appointment, we will align on expectations and your pet's daily needs. This will help us maintain a consistent routine and minimize stress to your pet. If any items seem challenging to fulfill, I'll proactively inform you of that. - If your pet will be visiting my home, they must tolerate cats. All boarding appointments will have a free Meet and Greet so we can screen for prey drive to ensure the safety of both animals. - If you're booking a boarding appointment for one dog, I might accept a boarding appointment for a second dog from a different family that is a similar size. If you'd like exclusive access to the house, please say so! - If you're booking for a cat, we will not book a new dog at the time that you reserve without your express permission. They will only stay with other cats and small animals. - While my yard is technically fenced, your dog will always be leashed and taken on walks for their safety.
“Aurora took great care our pup while we were out of town. She sent lots of pictures, and it looked like they had a great time! Would definitely book her again for house sitting.”

“Alivia was a super communicative and kind easy to work with sitter. From walking through the care instructions for my senior dog, to daily updates on how he was doing, I felt like he was in safe hands and could enjoy my time away. Definitely recommend working with her!”

“We are so grateful to find Bryn! She took excellent care of our doggo and 2 kitties during our week long vacation. She sent us updates and pictures daily. Great communication and very professional. We could tell she is a true animal lover. Will hire again.”

“Alice did a great job! I came home to a well cared for, tired pup - making my return that much smoother. Alice made sure to give my dog a loads of physical and mental exercise and sent loads of pictures.”

“Lauren was a wonderful house sitter! She kept me updated with plenty of photos and short summaries of what my pets were up to each day. I didn’t have to worry at all that my pets were well taken care of during my vacation! I came home to a clean house and happy animals. I would definitely book with Lauren again!”

“Andrew is a great dog sitter. He was very accommodating when our previous dog sitter cancelled on us. He is easy to communicate with and is great with dogs. He stayed at our place for a week and watched our dog that doesn't really like new people while we were traveling. We came back home to a happy puppy, it was nice to know that she was well taken care of. Highly recommend.”

“Soli was awesome and we will absolutely be requesting her services again. She was kind/friendly, treated our home like her own, and most importantly she was great with our dog. I got regular updates from Soli that gave me peace of mind and confidence that Murray was in good hands. I highly recommend Soli for dog sitting!”

“Arshneel was a fantastic sitter for our dog, Brussel. She really went above and beyond our expectations and made sure Brussel had the best week. She checked in a ton which we asked for and loved! We’re booking her again ASAP!”

“Natalie is the absolute best for our dog. We went for a week long trip and Natalie stayed in our home. Let me start off by saying that we came back to the house even better than we left it. Natalie kept us up to date and treated Tia and our house as her own. She made sure to clean up any and all messes. And cleaned up a mess from Tia’s accident better than even we could. She even went through our trashes and washed her own sheets. Natalie will be our go-to sitter going forward and highly recommend her to all”

“Haowen was SUPER! He connected immediately with my dog Jordan, and she had a great time with him for the week. And he sent me great photos of them daily on their walks. He really is a wonderful photographer!! Would definitely work with him again.”

“I wish I could give 10 stars… I hate being away from my little princess Macy. Even though she’s a cat I know she misses me too. It was great knowing she was in really good hands with Maisel and getting pictures and videos every day. Definitely will book her again!!”

“Lauren did a great job caring for Finley. She was super communicative throughout caring for him and made sure he got some exercise despite the rainy weather. He was happy and tired when I got home. She makes sure to learn everything she can about your pet prior caring for them so she can take great care of them. She was also very respectful of my place. I would not hesitate to have Lauren care for Finley in my home again.”

“Sydney watched my girls for two weeks and had to deal with an unexpected leak in the apartment while I was gone. She was incredibly professional and had a great attitude, and helped mitigate the issue and took great care of my pets. I would highly recommend her as an in-home sitter!”

“Alyssa did a terrific job watching my pups while I was away. She provided consistent feedback regarding the pups and was extremely responsive at every stage of the process. I came home to happy pups and a spotless home.”

“Anastasia was great with Willow for the week that I was gone! She was accommodating to my requests for updates and check-ins. She went above and beyond and showed the next sitter around my place before leaving. Thank you Anastasia!!”

Kimberly took phenomenal care of Kyrie once again. She was super punctual and detailed with daily updates and photos, worked some absolute wizardry on deshedding Kyr's undercoat, and truly left the house in better shape than it's ever been with me. Both Kyrie and I look forward to having her back again!

Katie was wonderful with Topanga! Even though our schedule changed and she didn’t get to spend as much time with her as originally planned, she was incredibly flexible, kind, and understanding. During the time they were together, Katie was genuinely caring and attentive. She was polite and professional with us, and most importantly, loving with Topanga. Our girl instantly gravitated toward her, which says a lot! We would absolutely recommend Katie and would be happy to have her care for Topanga again.

Sam was very responsible with our Mabel during her dog sitting stay. She sent us updates each day to let us know how she was doing, and to keep us in the know. Mabel had gotten a little sick while Sam was with her and she let us know the next morning after taking good care of her and tracking what happened throughout the day. Definitely a trustworthy sitter and we look forward to working with her again!

Kora watched my dog for a week and a half and was very communicative and respectful of my home. I got lots of pictures and was not afraid to reach out to ask me questions if she was unsure about anything. I felt very comfortable having her watch my dog, even with this being a longer stay.

Alicia was absolutely fantastic and outstanding! She took the time to meet Doxy and Sammie and was very comprehensive in reviewing all their routine needs and habits. She bonded very well with our dogs and sent us photos that made us smile, being reassured that they were in great hands. When I returned home, the dogs were very relaxed and happy. We are so thankful and appreciative to have Alicia’s help with dog sitting and highly recommend her without any reservations. She is truly the best! Thank you so much, Alicia, for taking great care of Doxy and Sammie!

Andrew is a dog owner's dream. He's extremely friendly and likeable and very reliable/dependable. Always easy to communicate with and sends updates. But best of all my dog loves him and that's the most important part of the relationship. We plan to use his services again for a longer trip knowing he will take care of everything.
Grace and Andrew were amazing! My wife and I had to leave town on short notice, with fluid travel dates and Grace and Andrew were extremely accommodating and communicative during a very stressful time in our life. Our pets and our home were obviously well cared for. Highly recommended!
Masi is the best! Left our little man with her for a full week and never felt more comfortable with the decision. She sent plenty of photos and updates and reassured us he was all good. She clearly knows how to handle any dogs personality and is very caring. Will use again anytime!
