About: I have experience with both dogs and cats! My first two dogs were family dogs: a German shepherd and a Shih Tzu both under 1 year old when we got them. I currently have three cats that I’ve had since birth: two orange girls (currently 4 years old) and one grey tabby (currently 7 months old). So no age is off limits for me! I’d love to look after your fur baby while you’re away :) I currently work hybrid! Wednesdays and Fridays are my work from home days so I can pop in to check on your fur baby any time throughout the day. And same with the weekends. Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays I work 9-5 so I can stop by after work (6pm-9pm). I’ve used Rover for one of my cats in the past and had a wonderful experience with my sitter. She made sure to send me photos regularly and update me on a daily basis. About: I’ve had dogs in my home for the past 21 years, namely an array of bully breeds both large and small. When I moved abroad in 2023, my English bulldog moved in with my family and I’ve been eager to welcome all of my friends’ dogs into my life and home ever since. I’m often dog-sitting for friends across New England and thought now is as good of a time as any to offer the same support to others! I’m a full-time remote employee with a spacious apartment that happens to have an enclosed deck and located across the street from a sprawling park with dedicated dog areas! About: For nearly every year of my childhood, I interacted with and cared for a dog in my household. Throughout college and the early stages of my teaching career, I took care of my family's dogs periodically. Additionally, my wife and I fostered a dog through the SPCA for two months in 2021. I have worked for Rover before and I have had wonderful experiences! I moved to Somerville in September of 2021 and then I moved to Malden in August of 2025. I'm a teacher and soccer coach, working full time between the end of August and the end of June, but I would like to help folks out with their doggos between school years! Ideally, I would prefer to walk and play with my clients' dogs on weekdays, any time between 9 am and 9 pm, however, I can be flexible regarding earlier in the mornings and later in the evenings. I can only do drop-in visits, walks, and doggy daycare. I'm quite knowledgeable and easy-going around animals, learning their preferences and routines quickly. You can trust me in your home and with your pets, because I am cautious, perceptive, and caring. “Rachel is an absolute life saver. I totally messed up the booking. (I tried to add a day, but when I did, the “extra” day then became the first day, so the whole booking shifted forward by a week. Make sure to double check your bookings in the app if you try to edit!) Anyway, I realized it the DAY OF. Rachel still made it work somehow. I’m not advocating anyone else doing this or anything, 😆 but just saying how incredibly grateful I am. Plus, she is absolutely wonderful with my dog. It’s clear my dog LOVES her and her son. I would recommend her to anyone.”
“Had a great experience boarding my Golden Retriever with Christina! From the initial meet & greet I could tell Christina was competent, professional, and caring. Leading up to and throughout the boarding she was communicative and sent multiple pictures daily, so I know my dog had a great time. Drop-off and pick-ups were easy. Overall really pleased with the boarding service and will be boarding with Christina again soon!”
