“Courtney did an excellent job caring for my cat. She followed all instructions and provided detailed updates. I especially appreciated her patience and understanding with my cat, as she is typically very scared and anxious around new people. I would definitely book Courtney again and highly recommend!”

About: I am a corporate gal with a work from home job who loves pets of all types and sizes. I grew up surrounded by dogs, cats, horses, and chickens and have spent time volunteering at animal shelters and caring for others’ pets since I was very young. I work from home, so my schedule is very adaptable. I take meetings or draft documents all day, with plenty of breaks in between for play time, potty time, or exercise for your pets. Since I am home with your pet while I work, they will be very well supervised. I have experience working and living with escape artists and know how to handle sneaky little friends!

About: I’ve been around dogs for most of my life, as my family has always had them. I love playing with dogs, taking them for walks, and helping them enjoy a beautiful day outdoors. I’m currently between jobs, which gives me plenty of flexibility and time to care for your dog. I’m available for walks, playtime, and giving your pet plenty of attention throughout the day. I will keep your dog safe by following your instructions, using a secure leash, staying aware of our surroundings, and providing plenty of exercise, playtime, attention, and affection.
“Haowen took lots of photos of my cat when he completed his drop-in visit. He responds very promptly to requests and is punctual. I’ll definitely reach out again.”

“Emma was very helpful in coordinating logistics for watching our cats, and went above and beyond during the visits, even cleaning up some messes our cats made while we were away. She also sends nice visit summaries and photos of the cats after each visit. 5 stars!”

“Annaliese always does a great job checking in on my fur baby when I’m away. She sends me photos and updates, and treats my home/space with respect. My cat loves her and is well taken care of. I would hire Annaliese again - I already have, and would encourage you to hire her as well.”

About: I’ve been an animal lover my whole life and have grown up around cats, which has given me a strong understanding of their behavior and needs. I currently have two cats of my own, my babies, who are everything to me. While I don’t have formal pet sitting experience, I’m very comfortable around animals. I regularly spend time with my boyfriend’s family dog and my best friend’s dog, so I’m used to being around different personalities and energy levels. I’m patient, attentive, and genuinely enjoy being around animals. I’ll make sure your pet feels safe, cared for, and loved while you’re away. Caring for pets is already part of my everyday life. I currently have two cats of my own, so feeding, cleaning, playing, and making sure they’re happy and comfortable is a daily routine for me. I’ve also helped care for my family cat in the past, so I’m very familiar with being attentive to different personalities and needs. I genuinely enjoy being around animals and making sure they feel safe, loved, and cared for. I care for my cats as part of my everyday life and make sure they have a safe, happy home environment. I don’t let my cats outside, but I do open windows with proper protection so they can safely enjoy fresh air. They have plenty of toys, a cat tree, high-quality food, and treats. I really focus on giving them comfort, enrichment, and freedom indoors so they can relax and live a happy, stress-free life.
“We’ve used Liz for our 7 month old puppy for about a month now and she’s been absolutely amazing! Liz has been incredibly flexible with our schedule, even doing a last-minute meet and greet before getting started and accommodating last-minute requests when our schedule changes. She takes such great care of our puppy and always sends thoughtful updates about how his day went, which we really appreciate. Our puppy Bogey absolutely adores her and looks forward to seeing her every visit! It gives us so much peace of mind knowing he’s in such good hands. We highly recommend her!! Thanks for all that you do Liz!!”

“Emily was amazing! She took such great care of my puppy, especially while he was recovering from being neutered, and even made a point to give my cat some love during her visits. My puppy can be a little wary of new people, but he and Emily hit it off quickly, and he always looked so happy in the photos she sent. She is incredibly friendly, reliable, and clearly wonderful with animals. I would absolutely recommend her!”

“Szu cared for my cats twice a day for four days with drop in visits, and was timely and communicative. She included pictures and detailed updates of the cats and took care of their feeding and cleaning schedules.”

“Was able to come a check in on my baby last minute before the storm! I got stuck out of the country and was not going to be home when I thought and she made sure he was okay. Thank you so much. A life saver!”

“Bryn has been amazing with our dog Robbie, doing regular drop-in visits during the day. She is very responsive and organized, and puts us at ease that he is in great hands. Don't hesitate to book!”

“Amber has only spent two days with my pup and I can already tell they are going to be friends! He’s happy and lively when I come home so I know he is getting a lot out of her visits!”

“Fernanda was great with my cat! She sent lots of pictures and took good care of Mac and the space he was in. She followed all instructions and is a great and fast communicator. I highly recommend.”

“Tatiana was fantastic! Super responsive and on point. Normally our Kittie is mad at us whenever we leave him for a trip, but this time he was happy and relaxed when we came home. Tatiana took great care and made a new friend!”

“Yiqi is an amazing cat sitter! She made her visit on time and followed instructions perfectly. She also sent me the videos of my cat, which was so reassuring when I was away. I really appreciate her service!”

“Andrea went above and beyond while caring for my grumpy senior cat. My 15 year old cat is skittish and can be aggressive, so finding someone who is so dedicated to making her comfortable and building her trust is really wonderful. I felt confident that my girl was in very capable and knowledgeable hands!”

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Everett
Sylvia did a very good job stopping by to feed and give medication to my cat Grace while I was away for the Labor Day weekend. She came on schedule and let me know she was there both with a notification/message and a cute picture of Grace. I really appreciate Sylvia’s excellent communication and her reliability. I would definitely use her again to care for Grace!

Steve was wonderful with Pepper while we were away for three days! He checked everything we asked, kept us updated, and sent photos with every visit. Pepper is usually very shy, but he really liked Steve and seemed very comfortable with him. We would definitely book with Steve again!

Really appreciated Piper's detailed messages about each visit to check on my two cats. My pets are both older and on the higher maintenance side, with one needing daily medication and the other being more sensitive to changes in diet and a pickier eater in general. Piper didn't have a problem accomodating this at all.

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Everett. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
