About: I have hands on experience with pet sitting, walking, and basic training. I’ve also worked with service dogs in training, so I understand patience, structure, and individualized care. I’m comfortable with puppies, senior pets, and everything in between. I’m a student at UMass Boston (going into veterinary medicine) and available Tuesdays after 1pm, all day Thursdays, and weekends. About: Give me your hissy, medicated, high maintenance kitties! Hi I’m Val and I’m a cat lover. I’ve cared for cats my entire life (34 years and counting) and would love to take care of your kitties while you’re out of town! I can do the following: -Medications (shots, pills, liquids, topicals) -Specialized dietary needs (powders, toppers, etc) -Change filters on filtered water bowls -Light Grooming (brushing, front paw trims) -Litterbox maintenance -Can bathe cats if necessary (medical needs) -Will not judge you one single bit for being neurotic about your pet I have 3 cats, ages 4, 8, and 14. My 8 year old cat has severe allergies, so I have a lot of experience giving her pills, liquids, and shots. I also had to give her routine baths for a while, so I’m pretty good at that, too. My 14 year old is, well, old, and has health issues from time to time and sometimes pees/poops herself and also requires a bath. She also poops outside the litterbox and drags her butt on the kitchen floor. I tell you this to let you know that I’m happy to care for your cats no matter their medical status or age and will always clean up after them, judgement free. The 4 year old cat is a sour patch kid - sour then sweet - but I love her no matter her mood! She’s usually the reason for the scratches on my arm, but it’s my fault because I love to mess with her. I’ll love your cats too, even if they’re a little sour. Please reach out with any questions! I work from home so my schedule has a little flexibility to it. I’d prefer to check in between 6 am and 8 am or after 5 pm. I also have cats and understand sometimes they throw up or poop outside the litterbox. I will always clean up any mess that I see/smell and will not leave it for when you get home! Cats enjoy a clean, calming home as much as humans do. Otherwise I will respect your cat's boundaries and give them pets if they want and will only pet with my eyes if that’s more their vibe.
