About: I’ve had dogs in my home for the past 21 years, namely an array of bully breeds both large and small. When I moved abroad in 2023, my English bulldog moved in with my family and I’ve been eager to welcome all of my friends’ dogs into my life and home ever since. I’m often dog-sitting for friends across New England and thought now is as good of a time as any to offer the same support to others! I’m a full-time remote employee with a spacious apartment that happens to have an enclosed deck and located across the street from a sprawling park with dedicated dog areas! I’m a typical millennial woman who is always willing to lend my time and space to some sweet pups. My apartment is dog friendly i.e., they’re welcome in all rooms, on the furniture, and to enjoy the fenced in deck on nice days. I love long walks and therefore long walk companions and maintain a quiet and calm home life.

About: This is a joint account with my girlfriend Julia and I. We both love being around animals and have experience caring for dogs of different sizes, temperaments, and energy levels. I grew up raising a German Shepherd and, more recently, a shitzu and Maltese! Julia grew up raising a Toy poodle. They engage with her walk her frequently play with her and send me so many pictures during the day that I feel like I’m with them. It was clear that he genuinely cared about Rocky’s well-being, and I felt completely at ease knowing he was in great hands.
Hudson had a great time with Jamie! This was his first time staying with a babysitter so I was a little nervous about how he’d do (and nervous to leave him 😂), but Jamie was great and Hudson seemed happy and calm both days when I picked him up. Would definitely recommend!
I am very happy with Lynn's care of Fiona. Her attentiveness and care for our 9-month-old puppy was evident, and--even more important--Fiona seemed to thoroughly enjoy her day with Lynn (which was long: from 8am to 8pm). A few days before the 'big day' Lynn arranged a 'meet and greet' at a nearby park, and Fiona took to her immediately. So, when it came time for us to leave Fiona in Lynn's care, the transition was seamless, and Fiona went along happily. I will definitely ask Lynn to watch Fiona on my future trips to Cambridge/Somerville.
Unfortunately, one of my dogs has cancer and I have a week of early morning trainings for work. (530a drop offs- Yikes!). Yesika is still willing to take her every day, work with the energy that she has that day, and offs care across the day (additional small meals, medication for nausea,etc). So glad that I have this resource.
Our pup had a great day! We got some photos throughout the day and a terrific summary of his visit. We could not be happier with how friendly and kind Jo and Adam were to our little dog and how accommodating they were to our nervous pup parent requests for this first time visit. We are very confident and excited to have them dog sit Frankie for a week this summer when we go away.
Jacky and Harley were gracious enough to accept sitting for my 15 week old puppy for 3 consecutive days at their home while I had to be at the office. This was my first experience with Rover and I was skeptical about handing my little girl off to a stranger, but Jacky put me at ease, even agreeing to me with us to get acquainted prior to the appointment. Everyday I got routine updates with the sweetest pictures of my pup and Harley having the best time together. It was comforting to know she was being well cared for during the day and at pickup time I’d be bringing home an exhausted puppy, giving me some time to unwind after a long day of work.
