I am the owner and primary trainer of two Vizslas. Arka, the older male has earned seven competitive American Kennel Club titles, including advanced trick work and Canine Good Citizen, all trained by me using positive reinforcement methods. My female Vizsla, Oni, is an AKC Grand Champion show dog of national renown. She won Best of Breed for Vizslas at the National Dog Show this year and has appeared multiple times on national television. I raised her from puppyhood and have been closely involved in her foundational training and conditioning throughout her career. Beyond my Vizslas, I have raised and cared for a wide range of animals and have experience rehabilitating wildlife. You can expect knowledgeable care, and yes, your pet may be spoiled just a little (read: a lot) while in my care. Pet care is fully integrated into my daily routine. My schedule is built around the dogs in my care, especially during weekdays when I offer boarding and daycare. I am home during the day, which allows me to supervise dogs continuously, manage structured activity, and respond to individual needs as they come up. Weekends allow for longer outings and enrichment activities when appropriate, while still maintaining consistency in routines and rest. During weekdays, dogs in my home are never left unsupervised. They are let out into a fully fenced backyard multiple times throughout the day and paired with individual or small group walks based on energy level and compatibility. Depending on the size and balance of the group that day, dogs may accompany me on short outings or a planned hike. There is an off leash park on my block, but I do not use it due to safety concerns, as it is an uncontrolled environment. Care is structured, calm, and intentional, with a focus on safety, consistency, and appropriate physical and mental engagement.

About: I’ve had dogs in the family since I was a child, and they’ve been all sizes, temperaments and with different needs. I’ve worked with multiple R+ and balanced trainers in the Boston area and actively use training techniques throughout the day to help dogs who are selective-reactive, fearful, shy and/or have separation anxiety. I’m happy to incorporate any trainings you’re working on with your pups while they’re in my care***I do not believe pet services should be financially inaccessible. If you are struggling financially and need assistance, please reach out. I am a graduate student, and spend no more than 3 hours teaching/working on campus, typically in the afternoon, but my office is only 10 minute walk away so I’m rarely gone for long. For pets who would do best with full time WFH, my schedule is flexible. The rest of the time I spend either at home or outdoors at parks or on hikes. My life truly revolves around dogs. Stay at home movie nights with lots of treats or hangouts at the dog parks—you name it! I now have a car, so my serviced area radius has increased for walking and checkin services! I do not offer boarding/stay services in the client’s home.
