About: I can understand and adapt well to different behaviors based on my prior experience with animals. I know how difficult it must feel to leave your loved one in someone else’s care, but I want to always make sure the pet parent can have a stress free experience when I’m looking after their fur baby! Whether it’s check in photos or calls to update, I’m happy to accommodate to ensure everyone is comfortable! FOR HOUSE SITTING, please ask me about my organization service if desired! Safety is my number one priority therefore I don’t do off leash, I avoid dogs & children, and I monitor our walks closely to make sure pups don’t eat anything they shouldn’t! I also don’t accept treats from strangers. I work a hybrid schedule. Being able to dedicate my time to this is very important to me. I am available for overnights or weekends or early mornings currently. Based on location, I can accommodate more easily! I am a respectful of house rules and I want to treat the space as professionally as possible. Whatever your pet’s specific needs are, I am happy to discuss and accommodate.

About: I’ve had many dogs over the years and have helped take care of friends’ and family members’ pets as well. I’m comfortable with different breeds and routines. I recently moved to Boston with my partner and we are getting settled before getting another dog, so pet sitting has been a great way for me to still spend time with dogs and give them great care. I work remotely with a flexible schedule, so pet care fits easily into my day. I’m home most of the time and can provide walks, playtime, feedings, and companionship throughout the day, including weekdays and weekends. I keep a calm, clean, and safe space and stick closely to each pet’s routine. I live right across from the Common, so there are plenty of great spots for walks. I’m careful on walks and always focused on your pet’s comfort and safety.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 10. I have a dog myself that lives in Houston with my parents. I have been taking care of dogs in Boston since 2020 when I moved here. I have been taking care of dogs overnight since 2021. I have experience with all breeds, sizes and ages. I also have experience with blind and deaf dogs. I work from home. There are about 5 days a month I travel for work but the rest of the month I am home and available for any type of service. The dates I am unavailable are known a few weeks in advance. I live in an apartment but there is ample outdoor space. I go on at least 3 walks a day myself so I can easily take your pet with me. I have no pets myself but Charlestown is a very dog friendly area.

We couldn’t have asked for a better experience with Maria and McAben! My husband and I were in Boston for work for a week and brought our three-year-old miniature dachshund, Enzo, along with us. Since we were staying in a hotel, we needed someone to care for him during the day for three consecutive days — and Maria and McAben were absolutely incredible. From the very start, they made us feel completely at ease. Leaving your dog with new people can be nerve-wracking, but we felt 100% confident and comfortable the entire time. Their apartment is welcoming and dog-friendly, and it was clear that Enzo was treated like part of the family. They showered him with cuddles and attention, sent frequent photo updates, and checked in thoughtfully throughout the day. Their communication was outstanding — proactive, warm, and reassuring. It meant so much to know he was not only safe, but genuinely happy and loved. Maria and McAben are truly wonderful people who clearly care deeply about the dogs they look after. We would book them again in a heartbeat — 1,000% recommend — and feel confident they would do an amazing job with dogs of all kinds. Thank you both for taking such great care of our little guy!
