Summer came home so tired after the weekend, they even went on a hike! She kept looking back at Rebecca when I picked her up which was so sweet!

Schedule
I work as an architectural designer at a firm in the south end with great work/life balance, in that we never work more than 8 hours a day within a 4-day week and have 3-day weekends every weekend! I love going to the park and on walks, so creating fun and stimulating environments for pets and going on pet-friendly adventures fits very naturally into my routine and personal hobbies.

I live in a 5th floor, two-bedroom apartment (it’s a walk up so being okay with stairs is necessary! Or being small enough to carry). I also have a small shih-tzu mix that loves other dogs but also needs his downtime once the initial greeting is over, so tolerance with small dogs and ability to calm down and chill after the initial excitement of meeting is a must
Pets
A typical day
I enjoy taking walks to the park and having play time with the pet, in addition to seeing if they are open to socializing with other dogs at the dog park. I also enjoy taking them to cafes, restaurants etc. that allow pets. At home, I make plenty of time for affection while relaxing at home!
