“Highly recommend Rachel. She was very flexible with scheduling as we had to adjust times for both drop off and pick up. Bodhi was very comfortable which we could see from the many photos and video that Rachel sent to us. Such a comfort to know our girl was loved. Thank you, Rachel!”

“Liz & Rodrigo are incredible people, with an incredible family full of love to give! We were a bit nervous having someone board our newly adopted rescue Beagle, but they did an amazing job! They sent so many updates and photos while I was gone, I never once had to worry how they were doing! They were both accommodating of both our pup’s needs and I can tell our pups would love to go back whenever we need a sitter!”

“John is the best sitter we could ask for! Our dog loves him and he spoils her with affection and lots of walks. We have now trusted him with a short trip and now a much longer trip. He provides great updates and makes us feel at ease leaving our baby. I would recommend him to any dog owner!”

“I’ve had Rachel watch my dog a couple times and she always does an excellent job. She sends lots of pictures and mazie comes back tired! I’d recommend her to anyone and will definitely use her in the future.”

“Zwany is absolutely amazing! She’s incredibly accommodating and understands what a pet parent needs to feel comfortable leaving their baby with her and her family. I did a one night trial before a longer sit later this year to make sure both Tilly and Zwany would be comfortable with each other. Tilly had a great time and fit right in. Zwany asked all the right questions before the stay to make sure it would be successful and demonstrated that she was ready for any of tillys quirks that may pop up during her visit. I got a detailed review at pick up and I could tell Tilly was happy to be there! Zwany was so knowledgeable and caring. Can’t wait for Tilly to go back!”

“Linda was super nice with Aloe. She kept us up to date with how she was doing. We know Aloe sometimes can be too much, but we were impressed how Linda was able to become her friend in such a short time. Aloe was in great hands I would strongly recommend Linda and will don't think twice in asking her again to take care of our little one. 10/10”

“Had a great experience boarding my Golden Retriever with Christina! From the initial meet & greet I could tell Christina was competent, professional, and caring. Leading up to and throughout the boarding she was communicative and sent multiple pictures daily, so I know my dog had a great time. Drop-off and pick-ups were easy. Overall really pleased with the boarding service and will be boarding with Christina again soon!”

“Emily & Daniel were fantastic! They took such great care of Ubu and thoughtfully checked in beforehand to see if there was anything more to know about her routine. Communication was easy, and I really appreciated the photos during her stay. Their dog, Thomas, is adorably—I loved seeing him and Ubu snuggled up!”

“Michelle and Michael took excellent care of our pup. They were very communicative and asked all the right questions from jump. You know your dog had a good time when they don't want to leave. Highly recommended!”

“Thank you for taking care of Theo again! Theo always runs right into Elliot and Jo’s house and heads straight for the dog toys. I know I can leave him and he’ll feel right at home.”

“Vanessa did a lovely job caring for my cat over the Thanksgiving holiday! She was super responsive, thorough, and sent plenty of photos/updates. Would definitely book with her again!”

“Emily was great with Ivy and Darby. They both warmed up to her quickly and seemed content in the many excellent pictures that Emily sent each time she visited. Emily was very responsive and communicative, asking for clarification when needed, and giving them lots of loving care and attention.”

“Sarah was absolutely fantastic with our cat who is sometimes shy around new people. She communicates clearly, is very responsive, and her daily updates (both texts & pics) were impeccable. I would absolutely recommend her to anybody.”

“Alicia did a wonderful job caring for our shy, but sweet boy (cat) and our home. She was great about checking in, sending pics and communicating with me throughout the time she stayed. And she left our house spotless. I’d happily ask her to sit for us again and recommend her to others looking for a responsible, caring sitter for their pets.”

“Elizabeth is quite honestly the best cat sitter we have ever used. We have a senior cat who is deaf. Elizabeth made sure to show her extra love and attention on her visits, with pets and brushing. She also let us know when she noticed anything unusual (like extra scratching or acting a little off). Our cat sometimes throws up, and Elizabeth did a great job following our instructions to deal with that. In fact, she did an amazing job taking down all of our instructions at our meet and greet, and asked great questions to make sure she knew exactly what our cat needed. She really went above and beyond!”

“Cat did a great job taking care of my cat! My cat loved having her over and all the attention she gave her. Her communication was great, especially when any issues came up. She also took great pictures, some of my favorite I have of my cat now!”

“We could not have asked more from Sloane. She was great throughout the whole process! I really enjoyed how thoughtful, caring, and attentive she was with our kittens. She also kept us updated sporadically during the days we were gone. Thank you for taking such good care of our cats!”

“Amanda was amazing!! All updates were thorough and she took so many good pictures, she spent lots of time playing and cuddling with our cat, who clearly loved her too :) highly recommend!!!”

“Nathan took great care of our two cats during a two-week trip, and we would happily book him again. He was reliable, communicative, and easy to work with, and he sent regular check-ins that gave us real peace of mind while we were away. During each visit, he handled everything we needed — feeding, checking the litter, playing with the cats, making sure they were happy and comfortable, and even tidying up a small mess one of them made — all without any fuss. We also appreciated his patient help when our Litter Robot got a little finicky mid-trip. Overall, Nathan was thoughtful, dependable, and clearly cared about making sure our cats were well looked after. We were all very glad to have his care.”

“Jessica is AMAZING! She took great care of my precious kitties and sent pictures so that I would not miss them as much. I am so grateful to be able to travel and not have to worry about my fur babies!”

About: I’ve been a cat person my whole life—I grew up with three cats and have been caring for family and friends’ cats since I was about 8 years old. I currently have two young, active cats of my own, so I’m very used to keeping up with playful energy as well as giving plenty of attention and care. I have experience with cats of all ages, including administering medication to senior cats. Whether your cat is playful, shy, or somewhere in between, I’ll make sure they feel comfortable, cared for, and right at home.
“Miliana took care of our cat while we were out of town. She went above and beyond to connect with her, bringing a laser pointer one day to play with her. Miliana was very responsive and always shared photos and was able to stop by even during a large snow storm. Highly would recommend!!”

“Yu was great as usual! Panko clearly loves staying with her, and I think he might be in love with her cat, Eleven. It’s always reassuring knowing he’s in a calm, caring, and fun environment. Yu is communicative, reliable, and takes great care of him. I always feel at ease when he’s with her. Highly recommend!”

About: I grew up with dogs, and have watched pets for neighbors, friends, and family throughout my life. I am looking to give my neighbors peace of mind that their dog is cared for and having a great adventure while they are off on their travels! I live close to parks for fetch, green spaces for sniffing, and have a couch for pups to cuddle up on with me and my dog Lilly. I have experience administering medicine for dogs and work from home most of the week. I would love to be your pups home away from home! I work from home Monday and Friday, and do not work weekends. I can easily let your dog out with my adult dog Lilly (4-5 times per day), if your dog needs more frequent potty breaks that is no issue just let me know! I have a quiet apartment with a large deck for dogs to sunbath and get fresh air! I live close to a park near quiet streets for long walks.
“Veronica was a wonderful sitter for my cat! Very communicative and respectful, and flexible when unexpected things came up! Would recommend 100% and would definitely book again!”

About: I grew up with 2 Yorkies and bulldogs! I love dogs with my life. Dogs are like family to me. One of my Yorkies (they both live in my hometown) passed away recently due to her age, so I do know how to properly take care of dogs even when it comes to senior dogs or even puppies. I am always available to take care of dogs! I live with my boyfriend who works at home so he is available in case I’m not home. I go to law school so sometimes it does get busy but I’m always happy to take care of a baby (pet)! I take care of pets at my home by providing them a place for them to be able to sleep comfortably and play with their toys. I also think that talking to them calms them down and makes them more comfortable. Dogs are really smart and they do understand rules if you explain it to them!
“Tiffany and Steve took such great care of Cooper. They sent a lot of pictures throughout the day. They also trained him and played with him. And followed his routine with walks, meal time and snacks. They made sure Cooper felt at home. I’m glad I found them on Rover. I was at ease as Cooper is generally anxious of meeting new people, but he settled in very well with them.”

“Adela is amazing!! She took the best care of my 3 month old Havapoo for 2 days in a row - lots of walks and playing! She sent me tons of updates and pictures, which I so appreciate having a new puppy. I will be using her again and I know that will make my pup Henry so happy :)”

“A truly 5 star experience. Cameron was easy to communicate with and work with. Just off vibe alone I knew my dog was in good hands when he was picked up. Throughout the day I was consistently updated with photos and videos of my dog out and about. I highly highly recommend Cameron to anyone in need of a dog-sitter. Next time I’m in Boston I will 100% be reaching out to him first. Finn will miss Cameron and Rosie a ton!!! 5 stars!!”

“Elizabeth and Rodrigo genuinely love Fitzgerald. Their home is loving and they are kind, communicative, and considerate dog lovers. We love visiting them cause Fitzgerald always wags his tail extra hard during drop offs, and comes home happy as can be. Anyone looking for a loving pair to watch their pup would be lucky to have them say yes!”

“Ivis took very good care of Hummus. She walked and fed him , sent many pictures throughout the day and was very punctual with pick up and drop off times. I will definitely book with her again and would highly recommend others to do so. Thank you so much Ivis!”
About: Hi! I’m Anna! I work from home in a cozy 1-bedroom apartment, and I share my space with my cat. While I don’t have a yard, I live right next to a beautiful park. I typically go on two long walks a day (about 2 hours total), so your pup will always get plenty of exercise and fresh air. I’ve owned dogs my whole life and have experience with all types: puppies, seniors, big breeds, shy pups, and the extra-energetic ones! I used Rover back in college while living in Tampa, FL, and absolutely loved it. I just recently got back on the platform and couldn’t be more excited to start caring for pups again. What sets me apart? I’m extra with all my pets in the best way. I focus on making sure every animal is happy, comfortable, and fully spoiled with love. That means lots of cuddle, treats (if allowed!), and walks. I’m flexible, responsive, and genuinely passionate about giving pets the absolute best care. If you're looking for a true animal lover who will treat your pet like family, you’re in the right place! Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because I work from home and have a very flexible schedule. I already take two long walks every day (about 2 hours total), so adding a pup to my routine is easy and honestly, way more fun! In My Home: I create a calm, safe, and comfortable environment for every pet who stays with me. I live in a cozy but clean 1-bedroom apartment that’s pet-friendly and great for lounging, playtime, and relaxing. I also have a curious cat who’s used to meeting new animals. Since I live right next to a beautiful park/North end waterfront pier, pets get daily walks and potty breaks. I follow each pet’s routine closely: feeding times, treat preferences, sleep habits, and any special instructions. Because I work from home, pets get tons of attention, enrichment, and companionship throughout the day. In Clients’ Homes: When caring for pets in your home, I treat your space with respect and your pet with the same love and care I’d give my own. I'll stick to your routine/instructions: meals, medications (if needed), walk times, and favorite activities. I keep the home tidy, follow all instructions, and make sure your pet feels safe and relaxed. You’ll also get regular updates and photos so you always know how your pet is doing. No matter where the care happens, your pet’s comfort, safety, and happiness are always my top priority.
“Maddy took great care of my pup! My scampi loves to snuggle and Maddy was very kind and let her Velcro all throughout the day. She’s extremely communicative and sends tons of pictures throughout the day which makes me feel week assured scampi is in great hands!!”

“All I can say is, Dan is the man. He was kind, considerate and very accommodating to our and Bubbas needs. Sent pics, took multiple walks and has access to a near by dog park. Thank you Dan and thank you Kada (his dog) for making Bubba feel special.”

“Hudson had a great time with Jamie! This was his first time staying with a babysitter so I was a little nervous about how he’d do (and nervous to leave him 😂), but Jamie was great and Hudson seemed happy and calm both days when I picked him up. Would definitely recommend!”

“Jhona was a great host - kind, responsive and patient with noodle, my 2-year old Maltese. Noodle is anxious, and takes time to open up and adjust but Jhona was able to handle him without any issues. Regular updates and pictures were shared with me, and I highly recommend Jhona to anyone in need of a sitter :)”
About: Dogs have been part of my life for as long as I can remember, and I truly understand how much they mean to us. My dog Richard was my best friend, and being apart from him during the war in Ukraine was heartbreaking, so I know what it feels like to worry about a pet you love. That’s why I treat every dog I care for with real attention, patience, and kindness, like they’re family. I’m now settled in Boston, focused on university and pet care, and someone is almost always home because my classes are mostly remote and my husband works from home full time. We also have a sweet Havanese named Millie who enjoys friendly dog visitors. I’ve cared for puppies, adult dogs, and seniors, including giving oral or injected medications, following special diets, and helping shy or anxious pups feel safe and relaxed. My goal is simple: while you’re away, your dog feels loved, comfortable, and fully at home. Right now my days are a simple mix of studying, family life, and dogs, and since most of my classes are remote I’m home a lot. My husband also works from home, so there are usually two people around for walks, playtime, and keeping an eye on things. We naturally plan the day around the dogs’ rhythm with a morning walk and breakfast, potty breaks and little check-ins during the day, some playtime, and an evening walk to finish the day calmly. On busier study days, pups usually relax close by while I work, then we take outside breaks for fresh air and sniffing. Because this routine is already part of our life, your dog won’t be left alone for long stretches and will get lots of company, attention, and a cozy home vibe throughout the day. At home I try to make every dog feel like they truly belong with us, not like a guest we’re “watching.” I follow your instructions closely for meals, treats, commands, and any house rules you have, and I keep their routine as close as possible to what they know so they feel safe and relaxed. We live in an apartment in East Boston with my husband and our dog Millie, and we’re surrounded by great walking paths and dog parks, so pups still get plenty of fresh air and time to explore during our normal outings. Inside, they can rest on a cozy bed or hang out near us on the couch if that’s okay with you, and there’s always someone around to keep them company. I also love sending photos, short videos, and little updates during the stay, so you can see your dog’s happy face and feel calm while you’re away.

“Jim was super accommodating! We came to visit Boston and needed someone to look after the pouch when we visit the museums. Jim was always fast to reply and accommodated our itinerary changes. I definitely recommend him.”

“This is Scout's second time at Jacqueline's for doggy daycare. She and Harley do an amazing job looking after Scout. Highly recommend her, she treats your dog as if it were her own.”

“Samantha is a great communicator and caretaker. Samantha is a regular dogwalker for my medium/large rescue lab/shepherd mix named Tofu, who has some level of anxiety. Samantha always updates me if there are changes in schedule or with Tofu’s behaviors during the walk. Samantha also asks questions and is attentive to Tofu’s needs, and has been building a positive consistent relationship. Thank you, Samantha for giving Tofu the exercise he needs!”

About: Hi! I'm a lifelong animal lover who is new to Rover, but not new to pet sitting. I currently have a cat of my own and grew up with multiple dogs, giving me experience caring for pets with a variety of personalities and needs. Over the years, I've pet sat for family, friends, and neighbors, caring for both cats and dogs. I'm comfortable with feeding, walks, playtime, litter boxes, and helping pets maintain their normal routines while their owners are away. I also work a flexible hybrid schedule, which often allows me to check in during the day in addition to mornings and evenings. As a pet owner myself, I know how important it is to find someone you trust. I'll provide reliable, attentive care and keep you updated with photos and messages so you can have peace of mind while you're away. Whether your pet loves attention or prefers a quieter approach, I'll treat them as if they were my own. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family members! I work a flexible hybrid schedule and typically only go into the office 1–2 days per week, though my schedule can fluctuate as needed. This allows me to be available for drop-in visits in the mornings, during the day, and in the evenings or to watch your pet in my own home throughout the day. Whether caring for pets in my home or yours, I prioritize safety, consistency, and clear communication. I follow all care instructions closely, including feeding schedules, walks, medications (if needed), and any household routines that help your pet feel comfortable while you're away. I have 1 very social cat, Goose, who is 2 years old. He is absolutely spoiled and more than willing to share his space and toys.
“Emily is reliable, consistent, and flexible. She provides thorough updates of her walks with pictures and feedback. I trust her 100% to care for my one year old Maltipoo, Milo. Highly recommended!”

About: I've grown up with and taken care of dogs since I was a kid. From tiny puppies to large lovable seniors, I've been around them all! I'll treat your pup with lots of scritches, belly rubs, and love like they're my own, all while maintaining the level of discipline you keep in your home. I'm comfortable walking on a leash, taking them to a dog park, or just hanging around at home watching whatever is on TV. Dogs are a comforting presence for me, and I'm eager to take care of yours. I'm currently unemployed and am job hunting as we speak, so my schedule is wide open! Whenever you need a caring, watchful eye over your pup, I'll be there. I live by a park, so if I'm dayboarding, there's easy access to green space. If I'm dog walking or dog sitting, I'll follow your lead. You know your pup best, so whatever rules or expectations you have, I'll ensure they're followed and maintained.

“Elliott is awesome. Our pup loves to see him three times a week, and Elliott is clearly great with him too - calming him right down and getting him out the door for his walk. Elliott is super reliable, flexible, and nice. We’re so glad we found him.”
“I had a great experience with Hannah as a dog walker! She communicated promptly to coordinate everything and took my puppy Luna's schedule into consideration, which I really appreciated. She arrived right on time, took Luna on a nice walk, and sent lots of pictures throughout. Luna looked so happy and comfortable in every photo. It was clear she was in great hands, and I’d happily book with Hannah again!”

“Kayla is wonderful! Our 10-month-old puppy, Mochi, is always so excited when she gets to go out with Kayla. Mochi can be reactive when she gets too close to certain triggers, such as birds or other dogs, but Kayla follows our walker’s guide carefully and handles her with patience and confidence. We really appreciate how attentive and reliable she is. We’re repeat clients and highly recommend Kayla to anyone looking for a dependable and caring dog walker.”

“Michael is very responsive, flexible and dedicated. He gives me regular update and takes dog walking to the next level. You can tell that he enjoys it. I’m a repeat client ;)”

About: I've taken care of dogs my entire life! I don't own any at the moment but that just gives me more time to spend with your little fur-baby or babies. I can be with your puppy or senior dog while you run out for errands or even if you just need a break! Just book me with the details and we can discuss a custom rate. My availability is completely open at the moment, including overnights. Animals are not a side-gig for me. They are my lifelong passion! I will work to fit into your routine. I have done overnight, weekend long, and drop in pet care and dog walking throughout my life. Nothing matters more to me then my client's comfortability and their pet's safety.
About: I have a deep love for all animals, and bond quickly with them. I'm patient and caring, as well as responsible and cautious. I over communicate and will send tons of updates, pictures and videos. I live and work downtown; I am within a few blocks of my apartment and can be flexible to walk and drop in during the day. I have ring cameras that I can set up in my home for boarding, or in your home for day visits, to give piece of mind that your pets are well looked after. I'm happy to board or visit your pets at their home! I have a city apartment with great windows, hardwood floors, lots of sunlight and tons of comfy spaces for kitties/dogs to get comfortable! I am happy visiting in your home as well, and will adjust my cadence to what your pet prefers. “Return client here! Nicholas was, as always, incredibly helpful, very professional, and had GREAT communication. I’m extremely happy with the care he provides, and my dog is always so happy to see him. He’s my #1 go to person, and will definitely be using him again!”

About: I have over a decade of experience raising both dogs and cats, having grown up in a multi-pet household. Currently, I’m the proud owner of a wonderful 3-year-old French Bulldog. I’m a big believer in continuous self-development, and I’ve channeled that patience and dedication into training my own pup, who now knows over 10 different tricks! I’ve also helped friends teach their pets new tricks. Because I have a highly flexible work schedule, I have plenty of time to give both my Frenchie and your loved ones the dedicated attention, structure, and care they deserve. I live in a secure, managed building in downtown Boston alongside my friendly French Bulldog, meaning your pup will have an instant buddy and a safe environment if they need a place to crash for the day! For your convenience, I’m also fully available to travel to you for drop-in visits, feeding, and neighborhood walks.
About: I have been around pets for as long as I can remember. I have two labradors, one 14 year old and one 4 year old, so I have experience with puppy’s and elderly dogs! I have always been in charge of taking the dogs on walks, and I have been covering for my sisters Rover dog walks when needed :) As of now I am unemployed for the summer, so I have a lot of availability! I am going on a couple short trips this summer, and will be going to the University of Miami in August, but other than that I am very available! I lived in a suburb until moving to Boston this month, so I am familiar with both yard and city environments. We used a crate until my dog was about 2, I like to keep them leashed and close to me, and I always keep their waters full!
“Muller can be a little apprehensive about strangers and Alice was able to settle him down and get him on a walk. She is great, and we will definitely schedule walks in the future!”
