“Was able to come a check in on my baby last minute before the storm! I got stuck out of the country and was not going to be home when I thought and she made sure he was okay. Thank you so much. A life saver!”

“Bryn has been amazing with our dog Robbie, doing regular drop-in visits during the day. She is very responsive and organized, and puts us at ease that he is in great hands. Don't hesitate to book!”

“Nathan is awesome and a pet sitter that goes above and beyond! He took great care of our 2 dogs and 1 cat. He was super attentive, sent really great photos and notes each visit, took inside a package we weren't expecting, and even did some extra laundry for us after one of our elderly dogs had an accident. We really felt so comfortable knowing someone was taking such high quality care of our animals while also having an eye on house. Highly recommend!”
“Rebecca is amazing! She dropped by last minute and took great care of my 65lb Cattle dog, 15lb Jack Russell, 8lb Terrier mix and 4lb Chihuahua! A huge variety of dogs and she did a great job with all!!! I've already scheduled my next pet sitting appointment with her! Would recommend her to all my family and friends.”

“Katy was fantastic with our cat and dog! They clearly adored her, and we felt so comfortable knowing she was looking after them. Communication was fantastic, and we got plenty of photos. We will definitely be asking her to look after them again!”

Especially appreciate her persistence and patience in resolving a house access issue due to a miscommunication that was squarely on our end. Would recommend Soli to any cat parents without reservation and will likely book her again if we need to use Rover!”

About: I have experience with both dogs and cats! My first two dogs were family dogs: a German shepherd and a Shih Tzu both under 1 year old when we got them. I currently have three cats that I’ve had since birth: two orange girls (currently 4 years old) and one grey tabby (currently 7 months old). So no age is off limits for me! I’d love to look after your fur baby while you’re away :) I currently work hybrid! Wednesdays and Fridays are my work from home days so I can pop in to check on your fur baby any time throughout the day. And same with the weekends. Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays I work 9-5 so I can stop by after work (6pm-9pm). I’ve used Rover for one of my cats in the past and had a wonderful experience with my sitter. She made sure to send me photos regularly and update me on a daily basis. After my experience with this sitter I know how to best make clients comfortable :) as a pet mom myself, I know how important it is to stay in the know while someone is looking after my baby!
“Alicia was communicative and punctual with her visit. My cat gets lonely on his own, and she sent me pictures of him looking very happy having some playtime and a belly rub (his favorite). She adhered to the instructions I left for her and she was caring and attentive. I came home to a happy cat and that makes me happy! I have already booked Alicia for a future visit and I can enjoy my vacation knowing my cat will be well taken care of.”

“Danielle is fantastic!! I would give her 100 stars here if I could. She is super friendly and responsive, an excellent communicator, and she is also a talented photographer! My husband and I loved receiving the many adorable pics of our fur babies while we were on a lengthy trip. It was great to see our kitties happy and being playful while we were away. ☺️Thank you, Danielle!!”

About: Ive always had a great love and passion for animals! I grew up on a farm in southern california and from a young age all the way up till i left my family home I took care of dogs, cows, horses etc! I think my favorite part of all from farming was grooming, and shining the animals; and above all, making sure they were well loved, fed, and taken care of! I was very blessed to have the opportunity to be able to grow up like this and learn so many important skills. I do currently work part time as a server. I am currently in college as well, but I am flexible, through some mornings, some afternoons and some full days! Our family house does not have a very large yard, but we do live in a suburban area where there are lots of nearby parks and hills for walking.

About: Hi! I’m Samantha, and caring for dogs has been a huge part of my life for years. I’ve volunteered with two different animal shelters, where I helped care for dogs of all ages, sizes, and personalities. Through fostering, I’ve gained hands-on experience with dogs who have medical needs, giving medications, helping shy or anxious pups adjust, and providing the patience and consistency they need to thrive. My most recent foster ended up becoming a “foster fail”—my sweet girl, Petunia, who officially stole my heart and became a permanent member of my family. Before Petunia, I had my first dog, Cooper, for 16 wonderful years. Losing him was incredibly difficult, but he reinforced just how much joy and purpose dogs bring to my life. Whether your dog loves long walks, playing fetch, snuggling on the couch, or just having someone keep them company, I’ll treat them like one of my own. I know how important it is to trust the person caring for your pet, and my goal is to make sure both you and your dog feel comfortable, safe, and happy. I’m also currently on the waitlist to volunteer with additional local shelters because I genuinely love helping dogs whenever I can. I can’t wait to meet your pup and give them the same love, attention, and care I’d want for my own. I currently work from home and have a pretty flexible schedule! I would love to stop in and take your dog for a walk! Can do day-of requests! I have a fenced in dog yard at my apartment complex that I take my dog to! We also love the walking path in Everett that goes down to Encore!
About: Hi there! I’m Viola, and I love dogs! I have years of experience in pet care, and my love for animals truly sets me apart. You can trust that your pet will feel loved and well-cared for while you’re away. I work part time, and I’m home most of the time. So your dog will have a companion for most of the day! I work very close to home, and can frequently check up on the dog’s I’m watching. I enjoy playing, cuddling and petting dogs! I spend a lot of time on the couch with my dogs, or out and about for walks!
“Liz is great! So communicative and thorough in how to take care of the pups. During the visit, numerous updates were provided and was super detailed about how everything went. Would definitely recommend her :)”
About: Hello! ☺️ I honestly don’t think there’s ever been a year in my life — maybe not even a month — where I didn’t have a dog. I’ve always had fur babies around, and right now I have two: Lilo and Stitch (yes, just like the movie!). They’re my little pieces of home. I’m currently out of work for the moment, which means I have way too much free time and a big house that’s been feeling a little too quiet lately. So I figured… why not turn all this love, space, and extra time into something good? Can’t wait to get moving and bring some life back into the house. 💛🐾 In currently am off from work until next year! I have all the free time, it’s a weird feeling when I’ve always been on the go. My two dogs already have a system around my 9-6 work schedule and that route will stay the same. I have a fenced yard and two friendly dogs to keep your fur baby company. I can easily crate your dog if needed... I do also have cameras inside and outside to monitor or share if needed.
“Haowen took lots of photos of my cat when he completed his drop-in visit. He responds very promptly to requests and is punctual. I’ll definitely reach out again.”

Emma was amazing! She took such great care of my cat and made me feel so much better about being away. She sent daily updates and photos, was always quick to respond, and it was so obvious my cat loved her (every picture was of them cuddling on the couch together). I've already booked Emma again for my next trip and wouldn't hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking for a cat sitter!

Haowen provided exceptional care for our cats. He was responsible, thorough, and completely worry-free, ensuring our pets were in great hands. His flexibility and willingness to accommodate ad hoc requests were greatly appreciated. Furthermore, he documented the visits with many wonderful, high-quality photos. Highly recommended for anyone needing a reliable sitter.

Having someone experienced with giving cats inhalers was the most important thing, and Liz handled it perfectly. This was by far the easiest time leaving the cats alone for me: I trusted Liz completely. Super caring and devoted to making sure our cats had the best time.

We had such a great experience with Hannah! She took amazing care of Clyde while we were away this weekend, and it gave us so much peace of mind knowing he was in such good hands. She was reliable, communicative, and clearly cared about making sure Clyde was happy and comfortable. We loved the updates and photos, and it was obvious that she spent quality time with him during each visit. We came home to a happy, relaxed cat, which says it all. We'd absolutely book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and trustworthy pet sitter!

Nicole was so wonderful with my cat, who is on the delicate side and doesn’t warm up to strangers easily. She followed his daily routine closely and was punctual with every visit, which made all the difference for a cat who relies on his consistency. Her communication was lovely throughout - timely daily updates, quick replies to my messages, and such genuine attentiveness to his needs. I came home to a calm, happy cat, which says it all. Thank you, Nicole - highly recommend!

This was our first time booking a petsitting request with Natalie, and she did an excellent job taking care of our cat! She provided great photos that showed how she performed all the care tasks we asked her to do. Our cat, who is normally skittish around strangers, took a liking to her! We recommend Natalie :)

Ayfer was so amazing with my 2 dogs, dropping in and seeing them multiple times while I was out of town for a weekend. My dogs felt comfortable with her immediately! She always sends pictures and videos and is a great communicator. Both of my dogs have medications and she was sure to keep them on schedule! I know my pups are in good hands with her!!

Rachel was an amazing pet sitter! She left really thorough post-visit notes and many pictures which was greatly appreciated. She went above and beyond making sure our cat was taken care of while we were away. I highly recommend Rachel and we will definitely be booking with her again!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
