She was able to sit for us on very short notice, and she was kind and helpful in guiding us through the whole process as new Rover users. She easily captured all the information she needed during our meet-and-greet, and we loved the detailed summaries and photos she shared after each visit. Amanda went above and beyond even what we asked of her. For example, we wanted it to be a light lift, so we said it was fine to bag up the spent litter and leave it in the trash bin in our apartment. Amanda went the extra mile and took the litter out to our external trash can, so we didn't have to deal with it when we got home. We mainly wanted someone to change the litter and check on food and water while we were gone, but Amanda also spent some quality time petting and playing with Mimi (Mochi is shy), which both Mimi and we greatly appreciated. We don't have the need for a sitter often, but when the need arises again, I'd rebook with Amanda in a heartbeat!”

About: I've been a pet sitter for family, friends, and neighbors for many years. As someone who grew up with dogs and currently has several cats, I am skilled in caring for a range of dog sizes and animals with various personalities and needs. I work from home, which allows me lots of time to devote to animal care. I take daily evening walks and would love to take your pet with me. I provide house-sitting and during the day animal care, and I love spending time with animals in fenced-in yards and/or going on plenty of walks—whatever your pet prefers! I work from home, so am able to provide midday walks and constant company.

We cannot recommend Suzete highly enough! She was absolutely incredible with our cat, Clyde, and went above and beyond in every possible way. She cleaned his litter box and water fountain, brushed him, played with him, brought him toys, and consistently stayed longer than the time we had scheduled. She also sent us wonderful pictures and updates, which made us feel completely at ease while we were away. The best testament to how wonderful she was with Clyde was how calm and content he was when we got home. It was honestly as if we had never left. It was so clear that he had been incredibly well cared for and had gotten a ton of attention and affection. Suzete is kind, thoughtful, reliable, and truly exceptional at what she does. We recommend her more than 100% and will absolutely be using her again and again. Clyde was lucky to have her!
Matilde has taken care of our cat, Ellie, multiple times now and she is truly the best! She is so thoughtful, compassionate, and always goes above and beyond to make sure Ellie is happy and well taken care of. Ellie can be a bit spicy and timid, but Matilde is incredibly patient and always respects her boundaries. We feel completely comfortable and at ease knowing Ellie is in her care when we are away!
Serena is an excellent cat sitter who was willing to accommodate a last minute booking. She is very detailed in her updates on each session and was even willing to scoop litter and take out trash before we returned. She just clearly loves hanging out with cats and our boy loved his time with her. Highly recommend!

Amanda was so great! She was so easy to communicate with and she sent lots of pictures so we knew our cats were in good hands. Helena took fantastic care of my cat Liuliu. She kept me posted on the feeding schedule, shared what she noticed about my cat and apartment, and asked extremely thoughtful questions. Liuliu had a hard time adjusting to staying with friends during my leave, but Helena's steady, gentle presence helped her settle right back in. It brought me great comfort to see how well Liuliu was doing with Helena around, and I loved all the pictures and videos she shared along the way.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
