About: I've had pets my whole life, so caring for them has always come naturally to me. I treat every pet like they're my own and understand how important it is for owners to feel at ease while they're away. I've helped friends and family with their pets over the years, and I know every animal has their own personality and comfort level. My goal is always to make pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while giving owners peace of mind. Since I work from home, pets are rarely left alone and receive plenty of supervision, attention, and potty breaks throughout the day. Whether your pet is working on potty training, crate training, or following a specific routine, I’m happy to help keep things consistent while they’re in my care. I provide a safe, clean, calm, and smoke-free environment. While I don’t have a fenced yard, dogs receive regular walks, potty breaks, and exercise based on their individual needs and energy levels. For privacy and safety reasons, I don’t offer home tours.

“We've been using Melissa for dog walking and just had our first overnight sit with her. She is responsive and communicative throughout the process. She takes great care of my dogs. On her first walk, one of my puppies had explosive diarrhea in his crate, and she stay for at least 30 minutes cleaning him and the crate up. She left out house sit with the house in clean condition. I'm very glad to have found someone reliable to watch/walk our two babies!”

About: I have limited professional experience in animal care but I have nearly a lifetime's worth of practical experience and pure love for all animals. Between having pets of my own and caring for others' fur-friends, I'm always the "DD" or "designated dog-duty" person. Since I've been able to walk to my neighbors houses or drive to friends and family members' homes I've often been relied on to check-in on, walk, feed, bathe, and care for their pets. Along with years of experience caring for pets in the home, I have volunteer experience bathing, blow-drying, and combing dogs of all ages and sizes. I've experience caring for dogs (including senior dogs), cats, puppies, kittens, turtles, hamsters, bearded dragons, and sugar gliders. Caring for others is something that comes naturally to me. I'm currently a graduate student aspiring to work in the mental health field with children and adolescents. However, as much as I love working with humans, I also love working with animals and pet-sitting/walking has become a side-gig that fills my cup and my wallet! I'm a quick-learner and willing to follow any special care instructions to accommodate your pet's needs. I'm currently a part-time graduate student so I have plently of time to walk and/or care for your furry friends! I have a lot of open availability and flexible scheduling during summer months so please reach out with any scheduling or timing questions. Safety is my top priority, for your pets, your home, and myself. I will carefully follow all care instructions, whether they're for routines inside the home, walks, medications, or any special needs. I'm attentive, observant, and adaptable to each pet's unique personality and always allow them to set the pace as we build trust and become comfortable with one another. I'm very patient with shy, fearful, or timid pets and can adapt to ensure introductions are low-stress and with your approval, can incorporate treats, toys, or gentle play to help them feel safe and confident. During walks, I keep dogs securely leashed at all times and remain aware of our surroundings to ensure a safe and fun experience. My goal is to provide dependable, compassionate care so you can feel confident knowing your pet is in safe, caring hands!

About: I am a cat mommy and have been caring for the dogs of clients, my family and friends over the past 3 years! I have always loved animals and would love to care for your fur baby I am currently working part time. I work in the evening so I have plenty of free time to care for your pups and fur babies If I am to watch your pet(s) from your home, I would love take them out on walks, give cuddles and play with them! My schedule is pretty open so I am as flexible as possible! If your pet is to come to me, I live on the 3rd floor which requires stairs to access. I have an open field across from my complex and live 6-minutes from beach. I would love to take your pup out to the park or beach to get a good walk in! I have a studio apartment, so while there is not much room in here I can take your pup out plenty hours throughout the day between 8-3:30pm and for a nice walk at night around 8pm. I am okay with using a crate if that is preferred

I am gentle, kind, caring, and patient; attentive to the needs of animals and the routines set by their owners. I am currently unemployed so I am available at all times. I work freelance as an artist from my home studio, so I can be as flexible and responsive to pre-existing routines. I live alone with no pets in a pet friendly apartment complex near a public park, a dog park, and near Logan Airport. I understand that routine and crating is crucial for maintaining an animal's safety and comfort, so I have no issue complying with such requests.
