Availability
I telework regularly while my partner works remotely full time, so there will always be someone home with your pup! We enjoy going on hikes and live in a walkable city, so would take your dog out on coffee runs too.

Information Mandy L. would like to know about your pet
Let me know if your dog has any quirks, or special needs ahead of time! Happy to accommodate to make them comfortable and happy and healthy.
A typical day
We’ll start the day off with a 20-30 minute walk to the park where your dog can romp around and potty. The long 40-60 minute walk will happen around late afternoon/early evening that is finished with wiping their paws when we return home and rewarded with a chew/sniffle mat/treat puzzle. Another potty break 4-6 hours later followed by dinner. Last potty break will be before we all go to bed.

Pet care experience
I had a reactive dog for 10 years and have dog sat my brother’s three blue heelers many times, and if you know anything about blue heelers, it’s that they’re crazy! The pictures on my profile are from our cross country road trip with our two cats and dog, so we are definitely the type of couple that wants our pets to go on adventures with us. I’m an outdoors enthusiast so I would take your dog out on hikes, but I also know the importance of mental stimulation - We have a lot of puzzles and snuffle mats from our late dog. My partner and I will be tag teaming to take care of your fur babies!

Reviews

Mandy & Daniel took such amazing care of our girls, Isla and Ivy, while we were away in Minnesota this past weekend. They were incredibly communicative the entire time, which we really appreciated, and they sent multiple updates and photos every day that gave us so much peace of mind. They truly went above and beyond! They brought the girls treats and puzzle toys, and made sure they felt loved and entertained while we were gone. They even saved Isla’s canine tooth when it fell out while we were away (she’s our 4 month old puppy), which was such a thoughtful thing to do! We could tell our dogs were in great hands the whole time. We’ll absolutely be using Mandy & Daniel again in the future and would highly recommend them to anyone in the area looking for caring, reliable dog sitters!

Amazingly responsive! Caring and responsibility for a day trip away!

Mandy was great with our two dogs. She gave us very detailed updates about how they were doing and the things they did that day. She would take them on walks and a few other adventures as well and took plenty of pictures of them. She even went above and beyond by dehydrating a chicken breast so they could have chicken jerky! Definitely recommend and will be the first person I go to.

I knew the moment I read Mandy's profile, she was someone I felt I could leave my Teddy with. She was great at sending me pictures (really nice pictures), and Theodore really liked her and Dan. I will definitely contact them again in the future should I need to leave Theodore with someone🐕 Thank you!!!!
