Kylie was happy to help … she was reliable, always on time and very compassionate and attentive to the needs of our pet, and us (regularly texting us to let us know how things were going). About: I’ve loved and cared for dogs for as long as I can remember. Most of my friends and family have dogs that I have cared for and my family rescued a husky lab mix during Covid so I finally got to experience caring for a pet first hand. Because he’s a rescue, I’ve had a lot of experience dealing with adjusting to new surroundings and experiences, training, and dealing with different temperaments. Also had exposure to many different breads. Live in East Boston in a pet friendly apartment so happy to walk/do overnights in my apartment or yours. I don’t have a backyard but live very close to Eastie’s best parks and green spaces where I’m usually walking anyway! I have a hybrid job so on days where I’m working from home I can walk in between meetings if I’m sitting for longer than a day. Have much more flexibility on Fridays and weekends. I don’t have a backyard but live less than a 5 minute walk from East Boston’s best parks and green spaces. My apartment is pet friendly and there is ample space. Can crate dog if needed.

About: I provide reliable, loving care for pets of all sizes. Experienced with walks and playtime. Your pet’s safety, happiness, and comfort are always my top priority. About: I’ve been around animals my whole life and truly understand how important it is to provide attentive, compassionate care. I’m committed to making every pet feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for while you’re away. I also have experience caring for multiple pets at once, as I currently have two cats, so I’m comfortable managing different personalities, routines, and needs at the same time. I currently care for one of my pets who has asthma, which has given me hands-on experience administering medication multiple times a day and closely monitoring health needs. This experience has made me especially attentive to changes in behavior and routine, and comfortable supporting pets with ongoing medical needs. I also adopted a cat who came from a very difficult past and was initially fearful and withdrawn. Through patience, consistency, and a lot of love, I’ve helped him build trust and grow into a more confident, comfortable companion. That experience deepened my understanding of how to work with anxious or sensitive animals at their own pace. Through all of this, I’ve developed a strong understanding of animal behavior along with gentle, effective training techniques, allowing me to provide care that’s both nurturing and responsive to each pet’s unique personality. It is an every day piece of my routine as a primary carer for two pets of my own. I will give your loved ones the same level of care and attention that I am able to give to mine! Emily was amazing! She took such great care of my puppy, especially while he was recovering from being neutered, and even made a point to give my cat some love during her visits. My puppy can be a little wary of new people, but he and Emily hit it off quickly, and he always looked so happy in the photos she sent. She is incredibly friendly, reliable, and clearly wonderful with animals. I would absolutely recommend her!

I’m very thankful that I found Szu. She helped to feed my dogs when I really needed as I was away. She answers my questions and followed my instructions. She offered to do more than I asked for. I highly recommend her services and I’ll book her services again.

Alexandra filled in for us super last-minute due to a cancellation, and not only read through the list of what to expect with our dog / what we needed for a visit, but was patient with our dog meeting a new person, took extra photos, wrote up a through ‘report’ after the walk + visit, and was extremely responsive via messaging. Couldn’t ask for more!

Jasmine filled in last minute for me to come let my pups out while I was away in Rhode Island for a wedding. She was super communicative, very punctual and incredible communicator while she was with the pups midday. I appreciate her sending a thorough update and taking them out multiple times to go to the bathroom. I would love to have Jasmine back.

We were visiting Boston to see friends in from out of town for the wknd and going to be away from our hotel during the day. Rita took such good care of our golden both days. It gave us peace of mind to see photos of our baby smiling on her outings with Rita and that she was having some fun while we were away. Rita fed her dinner and played with her in the room too. We will definitely reach out to Rita for help again!

I am so happy I chose Tess to take care of my Fenway! I went on a trip out of country and last minute had to find someone to watch my miniature dachshund. For the past four years, I have only had family or close friends watch him, based on his behavioral issues. He has fear reactivity to strangers, children, and other dogs. It’s hard to find someone who is willing to take the time to learn his quirks and get on his good side, while keeping him safe. Tess did just that and more, which I am so grateful for! Tess gave me in depth updates on how their time together went and took the cutest photos of my fenway! I couldn’t recommend her more and will be booking with her again 1000%!!!!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone.
