About: I am a very caring person and absolutely love the company of pets!! I had 2 large dogs when I was a kid and one small dog after that, and I absolutely love the company. Being an only child made me appreciate my pets so much and I love the company they give! I just graduated from college and I am working full time. I love dogs and I’m a super friendly person!! I also volunteered at a dog shelter during high school which was a rewarding experience.🤍 I offered to dog sit and dog walk my uncles dog for the summer which was an amazing experience, he was a black golden doodle and the cutest 3yo dog! I used to live on a small apartment and I always had to take out my dog and walk it several times a day, I am used to the dog walking and enjoy it!
About: I grew up with dogs and have experience caring for both energetic cats and dogs! Comfortable with playtime, walks, daily routines, and anything that keeps your pet entertained and happy while you’re away 😁 I currently work as a law clerk during the week, so my main availability is Fridays and weekends. I’m happy to be available for weekday visits after work with advanced planning, and I’ll always do my best to be flexible and accommodating to your schedule whenever possible. I will have a lot more availability/flexibility when I go back to law school in the fall! I always aim to create a calm, safe and comfortable environment for pets. I’m attentive to routines, feeding schedules, playtime and any individualized requests you may have for me to give your pet the best care possible. I’m reliable and communicative, and also happy to send updates and pictures whenever you’d like. I will treat your pets as if they’re my own, and I will always treat your pets and home with respect.
“Emily was great with our cats. We have a cat that can be a little shy with new sitters and she handled him great. She was very communicative and would def book again!”

“Emily did such a great job with Ziggy and Smokey! She was consistent, attentive, and super communicative. I felt like my babies were loved and well cared for while I was away.”

About: I've grown up with and taken care of dogs since I was a kid. From tiny puppies to large lovable seniors, I've been around them all! I'll treat your pup with lots of scritches, belly rubs, and love like they're my own, all while maintaining the level of discipline you keep in your home. I'm comfortable walking on a leash, taking them to a dog park, or just hanging around at home watching whatever is on TV. Dogs are a comforting presence for me, and I'm eager to take care of yours. I'm currently unemployed and am job hunting as we speak, so my schedule is wide open! Whenever you need a caring, watchful eye over your pup, I'll be there. I live by a park, so if I'm dayboarding, there's easy access to green space. If I'm dog walking or dog sitting, I'll follow your lead. You know your pup best, so whatever rules or expectations you have, I'll ensure they're followed and maintained.
About: I’ve been taking care of my own pets and others’ since I was about 8 years old. Friends and family have always trusted me with their pet-sitting needs, and I genuinely love being able to help out. I grew up with both cats and dogs (and a few other animals along the way!), and spent a lot of time training and doing agility work with my family’s Border Collie. I have experience with pets of all ages, from puppies to senior pets, as well as all sizes and temperaments. I’m also comfortable administering medications to your pets, and have had experience doing this with both cats and dogs. I did a lot of dog walking this summer during the weekdays (and loved it!) , but I’m starting a new position in July so my availability is going to shift to weekends only. My cats are indoor cats and have plenty of access to toys, climbing trees/stimulation, food and water, and their litter box! I would ensure that your pets are extremely well cared for according to your instructions.
About: I’ve had dogs in my own home/in my life for as long as I can remember! From walking to feeding to bathing, I’ve done it all. I’m currently a graduate student at Tufts University so am usually free most days for walks and/or drop-in visits! My schedule is very flexible, so even if Rover states I’m unavailable please don’t hesitate to reach out :) I have a fur baby of my own and have had dogs in my life since I was a child. My pup and I love to go on walks and I’m in charge of bathing him once a month as well. He’s also a pug, so I’m no stranger to having to clean a pup’s face and ears daily.

About: Growing up I’ve cared for many types of animals, from dogs and cats to turtles and lizards. My love for animals is shown through how I will treat and care for your pets. School and work has kept me busy from pet-care, but I’m excited to jump back in. Rover offers the perfect opportunity for us to save for our wedding and still do something special that doesn’t feel like work. I currently work part-time from late afternoon to nighttime, so I have plenty of free time during the day when you might be busiest to watch and care for your pet(s)! I follow pet care instructions based on the clients’ preferences and needs. I will only implement the care instructions provided to me by my clients.
“Angela takes such great care of my cat Molly! She also made sure she had her medication twice a day which gave me a huge peace of mind. She’s very thoughtful and proactive if any care issues come up. I would absolutely recommend and trust her!!”

About: I am a huge animal lover of both Pups and Kitty's so your beloved companion would be in good hands! I grew up with both dogs and cats my whole life. I have a mixed terrier named Tut, who loves to play with other dogs. Your dog or cat must be okay to be in an apartment with another super friendly and cute pup. I work remotely on Monday and Friday so I will be available to give your pet a lot of attention and play time! For overnight boarding, I prefer the weekends so I can give your pet all the love and attention it deserves! I live in a pet friendly apartment so there is plenty of areas to go for a nice walk. Gabriel was wonderful with my pups! He was very communicative and flexible with my whacky schedule, and he took the time to come over in advance to meet them first and introduce himself so they wouldn’t be meeting a strange for the first time during their drop in. I can’t recommend him highly enough!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
To find sitters in Boston with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.
