“Juliet was amazing with my three cats! She babysat my kittens for the first time I ever left them and she did a great job even though they are a little crazy. She took great care of my home and gave my cats lots of love. Highly recommend and I will be using her again!”

About: I've had dogs my whole life and know how to walk bathe, clip nails, feed, and do anything else that a dog may need or want. I'm currently working part-time and love animals. So I will have plenty of time to take your doggos on walks. I am available all day Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. I do not have a car so I will only be taking jobs that are walking distance or have nearby public transportation. At this time I am only offering dog walking services and house sitting between 1-3 nights on Thursday’s Friday’s and Saturday’s. I will keep your dog safe, let them sniff to their hearts content and make sure to stray away from anything they are afraid of.
“Emily is amazing and truly loved pups. I truly felt so safe having her there and in our home! I’m definitely excited to work with her in the future and I’m super grateful for her.”

“Emily is AMAZING! She cared for my pup, Peanut during Thanksgiving for me. I got home and I swear she was looking for Emily and not me, when I walked through the door. Would 10/10 recommend her to take excellent care of your pup too!”

About: I've have volunteered in animal care since I was a teen. I have had both cats and dogs that I raised from newborns to senior citizens in need of special care. I love pets and will work hard to make yours feel at home while you're away :) I am a new grad student in Boston, so dog walking and cat sitting is a perfect way to get fresh air between my online classes! I don't offer boarding, but as a pet owner I know how important it is to keep pets safely secured by leash or harness if stepping outside is part of the request.
“Kyle did well. I reached to him at the last minute and he made it work. He kept me informed about Buddy the Cat with regular updates. Thank you, Kyle. I think the best compliment you can give is that I'd have him take care of Buddy again.”

About: I’ve grown up with pets my whole life and truly love working with animals. I have hands-on experience walking dogs at animal shelters and providing overnight dog sitting in clients’ homes. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are always my top priorities. I have just completed grad school and my schedule is completely open! I have all the time for pet sitting while searching for a full time job. -Water/Food Refill -Personal attention and play time -Walks (on-leash) -Yard time (fenced in areas) -Overnight stays in clients homes (my apartment is not pet friendly)

About: experienced german shepherd owner of 5 years who has grown up around dogs! I love big and small breeds and won’t just walk/hang out with your pup, i’ll make sure they feel loved and safe while you’re away :) I WFH Wednesdays and Fridays (can do lunch walks in southie), and will be here most weekends, and would love to care for your pup! I can do stop ins, but won’t typically watch dogs in my own home due to lease restrictions. Very responsible with locking all doors and making sure your dog is safe
“Cat was so great with our two cats while we were away. She followed the instructions and gave detailed updates & visit summaries. It was a relief to know they were in such good hands.”

About: First & foremost I absolutely love animals! I grew up having multiple cats and dogs throughout my childhood and got my own dog in college 12 years ago. Getting a puppy in college at such a young age really taught me how much work it is to care for and train a puppy & having a dog throughout post grad really exposed me to all the responsibility involved in having a pet (the walks, feeding, potty breaks, vet visits, etc). Apart from my own pets - I’ve had roommates & boyfriends with pets and I always happily cared for them as if they were my own. Unfortunately I no longer have any pets of my own but I miss having one and would love to love on yours! I live a very active lifestyle downtown where I’m already always walking through the city on a day to day basis and it would be more fulfilling to swing by and check on your pet or have them join me! I’m a working professional but I work from home 50% of the time. I live downtown & it would be no issue for me to pop over between meetings, during lunch, or in the evening. I’m around most weekends as well and am totally flexible! Unfortunately I can’t have pets in my building but would treat your home as my own. I’m extremely respectful and would keep your pet comfortable in their own environment. I listen to directions and would follow any feeding or other instructions to a T! I’d also be sure to check the water bowl & let your pet out for a potty break before I leave.
About: I have been taking care of cats and dogs for 10 years. I have also been house sitting many years as well. Love all types of animals! I have a full time job but am flexible to stay at your home and let your pet out. I can also take your dog to work with me if that’s something you would be interested in. Care for your pet is up to you! Happy to do what is best for your pet and your home. For my own dog, I love to take him on walks.
“Angela takes such great care of my cat Molly! She also made sure she had her medication twice a day which gave me a huge peace of mind. She’s very thoughtful and proactive if any care issues come up. I would absolutely recommend and trust her!!”

About: I have a dog and a cat and I have never met an animal I didn't get along with! I raised my dog from being a puppy and watched him grow into my senior boy! I also have experience living with and caring for a variety of dogs, all the way down to a tiny 6 pound dachshund. I also have plenty of cat experience and have cared for and lived with many of those as well :) I emphasise patience and respect. I typically work from 4-late so I will have plenty of time to spend with your furry friend mid-day for a walk or home visit. For in home visits I will respect and adhere to any rules or specifications you lay out for your pet. For walks I will adhere to any specific route you would like us to take or area of the city you would like us to stay in.
About: I am 25 years old and have a lifetime of experience growing up with three dogs. I am a dedicated sitter and will ensure your pets are happy, safe, and well cared for. As a remote worker, I have the flexibility to incorporate your pets needs into my schedule seamlessly. I will be home majority of the day and can take frequent bathroom/walking breaks as needed. I will be able to keep your pet company for the entirety of the day and pets in our home are free to lounge on couches or beds so they can feel comfortable.
About: Hi! My name is Gabby and I’m looking for opportunities to walk/run with dogs in the North End (or nearby) between 11 am and 12:30 pm on mondays and wednesdays and any time 12:30 or earlier any other day of the week while I build my personal training business. 🙂 I have been dogsitting and walking dogs consistently since 2023 and previously from 2019-2020. I have watched a lot of different kinds of dogs and especially like working with active breeds who need to expand some energy on their walks! I’d love to learn about your dogs needs and what I can do to support them on their walk (or run). I’m looking to increase my running mileage this spring and summer, so if you have a dog you run with who needs a run, I can run with them to help them expend some energy!
“Ren was very easy to communicate with and sent great photos and videos of our cats. She kept them well fed and played with both of them (even our less active boy!). I highly recommend Ren and will definitely have her sit our kitties in the future! She also cleaned up after them!”

Boston dog parents share their Rover experiences
Liz is incredible and did an amazing job with our wiggly puppy! I loved that she had us do a meet and greet as well during which she took time to get to know Maisel and took notes on her care. Liz clearly takes this job seriously and cares deeply about the animals she is caring for.

I highly recommend Elizabeth for all of your dog needs. I have 2 dogs, one is reactive, and she was very thoughtful and gentle with him until they grew trust together. Elizabeth is always on time, and follows through with all her commitments. She is trustworthy, communicative, and friendly. I would recommend Elizabeth to anyone!

Mariana was so wonderful! We had a last minute notice on a trip, and she was available and responded within minutes. Very communicative, lots of pictures and check ins sent. Our dog Rusty loved her! She made sure to ask any questions on any information that was left out as well. We definitely will be rebooking in the future!!

Arianna was amazing! Her responses were timely and professional. She kept me updated on when she was stopping by to take out my pug Winnie, and she sent photos of her on walks, eating, and playing. It was great to know she was in good hands! I would certainly rebook with her again!

Emily is absolutely AMAZING!!! She is incredibly thorough, caring, and she went above and beyond for my two “kids” while I was away. She was very knowledgeable and understanding of their different needs (one high energy, one older/calmer). The best feeling is knowing your pets are well cared for and comfortable, and Emily provides that & more! ☺️

Madison was absolutely wonderful with my dog during her drop-in visits. She was reliable, communicative, attentive, and clearly cared about making sure my pup was comfortable and well taken care of. I appreciated the updates and peace of mind while away. I would definitely book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy sitter!

Rita has been helping to care for our 3 month old puppy for the past few weeks and has been wonderful!! She is very thorough with the care she provides and with the updates she gives us during each visit, is very experienced and professional, and has even changed her schedule a few times to accommodate last minute needs! Would absolutely recommend her to anyone!
