I would feel very comfortable having them watch Jane in the future.”

I also had Rachel watch Emmitt the next weekend 4/21-4/23 and again he was a happy dog. Emmitt and I saw Rachel and her dog at the park during the week between visits and Emmitt was super happy to see her dog and play and also ran to say hello to Rachel (clearly a sign that he was well taken care of on 4/15). About: I’m a lifelong dog owner with hands-on experience caring for a wide range of breeds, from energetic puppies to quirky seniors. I work from home, so I’m able to offer tons of attention, exercise, and consistency throughout the day. Having lived with everything from labs to Pyrenees mixes, I understand the importance of meeting each dog’s unique needs, whether that’s structured walks, gentle senior care, or patient socialization for shy pups. I’m comfortable with big dogs and independent personalities, and my own experience training puppies and supporting older dogs means your pup is in caring, knowledgeable hands. What sets me apart is my lifelong experience caring for a variety of breeds—including puppies and seniors—and my work-from-home flexibility means dogs get real companionship and attention all day. I understand big, independent, and quirky personalities, and I prioritize individualized care, from puppy training to gentle support for older dogs. I take the time to get to know every dog, building trust through patience, routine, and play. Pet care is a natural part of my daily life, not an afterthought. Since I work from home, I’m able to integrate walks, playtime, and check-ins throughout the day—whether it’s a morning stroll, afternoon games in the park, or relaxed evenings together. My routine is flexible, so dogs always get outside for fresh air and exercise and receive plenty of attention between my work sessions. On weekends, I love exploring new neighborhoods, local parks, or heading to the beach—always bringing dogs along for new adventures. Whether it’s active pups needing stimulation or seniors who prefer a calm presence, I adapt my days to make sure every dog feels comfortable, safe, and part of my everyday world. When caring for pets in my home, I make sure they’re comfortable, safe, and integrated into my daily routine—regular walks to nearby parks or the beach, supervised playtime, and cozy rest spots throughout my home. I keep to each dog’s familiar schedule as much as possible, including feeding times, exercise, and any training or medication routines. In a client’s home, I respect their space and routines, making sure pets feel secure in their own environment. I follow all instructions closely, from special diet needs to unique quirks or favorite toys, and keep in touch with updates and photos so owners know their pets are happy and cared for. Most importantly, I treat every dog like they’re my own—with patience, structure, and genuine affection—whether they’re here for a day, a weekend, or longer.
“Tiffany and Steve were awesome! They were incredibly communicative and patient with us as we navigated getting our first dog and starting daycare for the first time. Their attention to detail and care for each pup they watch is so nice to see, our Bear is usually quite shy but warmed up to them so quickly! We look forward to working with them again. :)”

About: I grew up with 2 Yorkies and bulldogs! I love dogs with my life. Dogs are like family to me. One of my Yorkies (they both live in my hometown) passed away recently due to her age, so I do know how to properly take care of dogs even when it comes to senior dogs or even puppies. I am always available to take care of dogs! I live with my boyfriend who works at home so he is available in case I’m not home. I go to law school so sometimes it does get busy but I’m always happy to take care of a baby (pet)! I take care of pets at my home by providing them a place for them to be able to sleep comfortably and play with their toys. I also think that talking to them calms them down and makes them more comfortable. Dogs are really smart and they do understand rules if you explain it to them!
About: Dogs have been part of my life for as long as I can remember, and I truly understand how much they mean to us. My dog Richard was my best friend, and being apart from him during the war in Ukraine was heartbreaking, so I know what it feels like to worry about a pet you love. That’s why I treat every dog I care for with real attention, patience, and kindness, like they’re family. I’m now settled in Boston, focused on university and pet care, and someone is almost always home because my classes are mostly remote and my husband works from home full time. We also have a sweet Havanese named Millie who enjoys friendly dog visitors. I’ve cared for puppies, adult dogs, and seniors, including giving oral or injected medications, following special diets, and helping shy or anxious pups feel safe and relaxed. My goal is simple: while you’re away, your dog feels loved, comfortable, and fully at home. Right now my days are a simple mix of studying, family life, and dogs, and since most of my classes are remote I’m home a lot. My husband also works from home, so there are usually two people around for walks, playtime, and keeping an eye on things. We naturally plan the day around the dogs’ rhythm with a morning walk and breakfast, potty breaks and little check-ins during the day, some playtime, and an evening walk to finish the day calmly. On busier study days, pups usually relax close by while I work, then we take outside breaks for fresh air and sniffing. Because this routine is already part of our life, your dog won’t be left alone for long stretches and will get lots of company, attention, and a cozy home vibe throughout the day. At home I try to make every dog feel like they truly belong with us, not like a guest we’re “watching.” I follow your instructions closely for meals, treats, commands, and any house rules you have, and I keep their routine as close as possible to what they know so they feel safe and relaxed. We live in an apartment in East Boston with my husband and our dog Millie, and we’re surrounded by great walking paths and dog parks, so pups still get plenty of fresh air and time to explore during our normal outings. Inside, they can rest on a cozy bed or hang out near us on the couch if that’s okay with you, and there’s always someone around to keep them company. I also love sending photos, short videos, and little updates during the stay, so you can see your dog’s happy face and feel calm while you’re away.
“Jhona was a great host - kind, responsive and patient with noodle, my 2-year old Maltese. Noodle is anxious, and takes time to open up and adjust but Jhona was able to handle him without any issues. Regular updates and pictures were shared with me, and I highly recommend Jhona to anyone in need of a sitter :)”
“Anastasia was amazing!! Visiting Boston for my bday Nervous to leave our puppy but she was so incredible with Bella and sent us updates all day! Thank you!”

About: Since childhood dogs have been a big part of life. From my big loaf of a mutt growing up, to helping my aunts with their pair of border collies I'm always learning more ways to connect with pets . I live in large loft with lots of space to run and play. Located in Downtown Boston; minutes away from the Greenway, Commons, and Harborwalk. Available for boarding, sitting walks and drop-ins. I have years of experience with big dogs, puppies and elderly pooches. I offer structured walks. These aren't just quick bathroom breaks. I provide focused, active walks tailored to your dog's energy level. For high-energy or larger breeds, this includes paced exercise to ensure they get a thorough workout; for seniors or smaller dogs, we take a gentler, scent-driven approach to keep them mentally stimulated without overexertion. I work entirely from home and within the immediate local neighborhood. This setup grants me excellent scheduling fluidity, allowing me to accommodate midday requests, early morning routines, or late-evening check-ins with ease. When your pet is in my care, they receive structured, high-quality attention. Because my day is entirely organized around pet safety and lifestyle needs, I am highly reliable, prompt, and capable of spending extended, quality time keeping your dog company. Taking care of furry friends has turned from my favorite hobby to my 9-5 (sometime 24/7 lol). Available for last minute booking. Just ask! I am very experienced with high energy breeds. Boredom can lead to stress, so I incorporate interactive play, puzzle toys, and basic command reinforcement into our time together to keep their minds sharp and focused. Centrally located for convenient dropoff/pickup near Logan Airport. Multiple dog parks within walking distance. Stay-at home full time attention for your pet.
About: I’ve loved dogs for as long as I can remember, and having my own dog since I was 12 made them a big part of my life growing up. Being away from home for college means I really miss my dog, which is one of the reasons I enjoy dog-sitting so much, it lets me spend time caring for and bonding with dogs while giving them the attention they deserve. Over the past three years in Boston, I’ve regularly dog-sat for friends and families who trust me because I’m dependable, attentive, and focused on maintaining each dog’s routine and comfort. I’m currently a senior in college with classes mainly in the mornings, so I’m home and available for most of the day. This schedule allows me to prioritize pet care, stick to routines, and provide consistent supervision and attention. When dogs stay with me, I make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for by following their usual schedule as closely as possible. Dogs are never left alone for more than four hours, and I send daily updates and photos so owners feel reassured while they’re away. My apartment also has a dog park amenity, which makes potty breaks and outdoor time easy, safe, and convenient
About: I’ve always had dogs in my life. I grew up beside them and learned how to care for them at a very early age. I have experience with many different breeds, sizes, personalities, ages; from dogs who were my family, from my friend’s dogs to dogs belonging to people in my local community. Since I’ve been living in Boston for almost a year now, I have scouted out great routes to walk dogs to local spots for play and enjoyment, especially in nature. Special skills include dog breed knowledge, basic commands training, clicker training, animal welfare, and basic wilderness first aid training. I work from home 70% of the time and my schedule is wonderfully quite flexible. I am able to meet basic needs like potty breaks or walks and easily adjust my routine around the dog’s needs. I have worked with many different dog personalities and characteristics before and can take care of your dog however needed. I allow dogs on the bed and couch, have plenty of treats on hand, have many pet friendly locations nearby to take them, etc.
“Maddy took great care of my pup! My scampi loves to snuggle and Maddy was very kind and let her Velcro all throughout the day. She’s extremely communicative and sends tons of pictures throughout the day which makes me feel week assured scampi is in great hands!!”

“Cooper can be a lot of energy to handle sometimes, but Sophie did great with giving him long walks and allowing him some time to decompress and get used to her apartment so he could chill out for the rest of his stay. Very understanding and communicated well throughout the day.”

“Hudson had a great time with Jamie! This was his first time staying with a babysitter so I was a little nervous about how he’d do (and nervous to leave him 😂), but Jamie was great and Hudson seemed happy and calm both days when I picked him up. Would definitely recommend!”

“Jim really saved me when I had a totally last minute request to board Clio. (Due to a medical emergency). He made it so easy and sent photos and updates and was completely flexible on when I would come back to pick her up. I can't thank him enough for taking such good care of her.”

“My dog Hunter loves John and has already stayed with him a few times. For this past trip when I dropped him off, he ran up to John’s apartment very excited. John always updates us and asks us questions when needed. We are so grateful to have John caring for Hunter. Thank you!”

“Peyton took great care of my puppy, Luna while I was away for the weekend. She was very reliable and attentive and I could tell Luna was very happy and content to be in her care. She sent lots of photos and updates which I really appreciated, and I’d definitely recommend Peyton to anyone looking for a pet sitter!”

“Emily & Daniel were fantastic! They took such great care of Ubu and thoughtfully checked in beforehand to see if there was anything more to know about her routine. Communication was easy, and I really appreciated the photos during her stay. Their dog, Thomas, is adorably—I loved seeing him and Ubu snuggled up!”

“Carolina is awesome. Kaci loves to visit and enjoys spending time with the other dogs. They keep me updated with photos and take him on good walks. I love that she offers pick up and drop and is always on time. As a busy person it is good to have a sitter you trust.”
