“This is a sad review to write only because it will be Charlie’s last stay with Ilya for a while since we are moving away from Cambridge. For the last year, Ilya has been rock solid reliable as a sitter for Charlie, always responding in minutes and always accommodating for last minute stays and changing work plans and cancelled flights. Charlie sees the bag come out and gets so excited that he’s going to visit Ilya and his rotating group of pups. During the stay I get frequent updates and the cutest photos. He comes home happy and calm from a fun stay playing with friendly dogs and frequent walks. I would highly recommend Ilya and only wish we were staying in Cambridge longer so Charlie could keep up his visits!!”
“Brooklynn and Adam are amazing!! My dog is anxious and leash reactive, but he had no problems staying with Brooklynn. She made sure to walk him in quiet areas during less busy times, and her home is quiet and peaceful, which I'm sure helped Monty a ton. She had no problem giving him two different medications every morning, and he got so much love all weekend. We got so many pictures of Monty snuggling with Brooklynn and Adam - so cute! It was like he went to the spa for the weekend - we would love for her to watch Monty again!”

About: I’ve always had dogs in my life. I grew up beside them and learned how to care for them at a very early age. I have experience with many different breeds, sizes, personalities, ages; from dogs who were my family, from my friend’s dogs to dogs belonging to people in my local community. Since I’ve been living in Boston for almost a year now, I have scouted out great routes to walk dogs to local spots for play and enjoyment, especially in nature. Special skills include dog breed knowledge, basic commands training, clicker training, animal welfare, and basic wilderness first aid training. I work from home 70% of the time and my schedule is wonderfully quite flexible. I am able to meet basic needs like potty breaks or walks and easily adjust my routine around the dog’s needs. About: I am a very passionate cat mom of two sweet tabby boys who understand that we all always want the best for our kitties! I got my first cat five years ago when he was seven weeks old and my second earlier this year when he was six months old, so I have a lot of experience taking care of kittens. Since I travel a lot, I know how big of a deal it can be to trust someone else with your cats, and I want to be that person for someone else. I have cat who insists on having ice cubes in his water and likes to have me watch him eat, so I am very accustomed to tending to cats' quirks. I have cared for both of my cats through surgeries, including applying warm compresses and administering medicine (even to a picky eater). I feed my cats both wet and dry food so I am very familiar with serving both. However, I have had dogs for my whole life and am very experienced in their care as well. I have cared for dogs with anxiety, as well as cared for senior pets. I am comfortable administering medicine and following special diets. I have also been walking dogs since I was a kid and would love to take your pet for a spin. I am a graduate student and I teach an undergraduate course. My classes are at night twice a week, and I teach for two afternoons during the week. The rest of my time is free to do homework, write, work, and take care of my own fur babies. I am very good at scheduling myself and would love to work your pets into my schedule. I will care for your pets by playing with them and helping them get some of that energy out or sitting beside them and just giving them pets and keeping them company. I know each pet is different and has different things they need through out the day. For cats, I can clean the litter boxes. For dogs, I can take them outside to go. I will always make sure that the food and water bowls are full and clean, and that your pet is comfortable when I leave.
