About: As a student studying veterinary medicine, I feel confident in my abilities to provide the best care for your animal. My passion for animals started at a very young age and led me to start my own pet sitting business at 12 years old. I enforced my husbandry knowledge in college by volunteering at the MSPCA Animal Shelter and Clinic and the New England Animal Hospital. This taught me the best care for animals of all ages and health statuses including dogs, cats, rabbits, ferrets, birds, and rodents. I am Fear Free certified which is a course that emphasizes the best ways to interact with and treat animals to reduce anxiety and stress. Additionally, I am well experienced with administering medications if needed. As a student, I have fewer commitments when I am home for break which is perfect for pet parents looking for frequent or long visits and vacation pet care. I will unfortunately not be able to provide routine visits during the times I am at school but I return home for months at a time during the winter and summer. When you love what you do like me, visits with your pets are long and thoughtful every time. Though I cannot house your pets in my home due to my own senior cat, I can assure that I will make my visits at your home count.
“Consistently, Erika is such a great sitter!! We appreciate her stopping by a ton - our cat Olly enjoys her visits. She leaves him little treats and always responds to messages timely. Couldn’t recommend Erika more!”

About: I've been living with, volunteering with, and sitting for cats of all ages throughout my entire life. Between cats and dogs, the typical headcount for pets in my house growing up was always between four and six, not counting the occasional liter of kittens and often mother cat that we would foster and work to get homes for through our local shelter. I have also been the go-to cat sitter for friends and friends of friends since I could drive!
About: My partner (Henry) and I love to watch dogs together! We have been surrounded by dogs our whole lives, from small picky eaters to large dogs that can run for miles. Growing up around dogs, we know that they are all different and respond to new people differently, but we have had positive experiences in taking care of family’s, neighbors’, and friends’ dogs in the past and have a ton of energy to do so. We love spending time outside and with dogs and have dog-sat before, including experiences wherein we did not stay in the owners’ home, but visited frequently to walk and feed their dog, and we have dog sat in our own home, so we are comfortable with adapting our services to any of your needs. We both have hybrid work situations, so one of us is always working from home at any given time and are used to being flexible with a pet’s schedule. We take care of pets like they are our own, in the past when we have boarded dogs in our home we have adapted to what the pet is and is not allowed to do (ie sleeping in the bedroom or not etc.)

About: I've had cats for most of my life and truly understand how unique each cat’s personality can be. I’m patient, gentle, and experienced with everything from playful kittens to senior cats who need a little extra care and calm. Whether your cat loves attention or prefers their space, I’ll make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away.
“Stephanie was great! She really loves cats and took very good care of mine. One of my cats is scared of strangers but she made him feel comfortable. We had good communication and she sent me many photos and daily updates. I will definitely leave the cats with her again. If you are looking for someone to take care of your cats, she is the right person.”

About: Hello and welcome to my profile. My name is Monica and I am the proud fur-mom to a 3 year old golden named Mango. I am on rover to help with the needs of pet care as I know it can be quite expensive these days and am looking for something to do in my free time. I currently work at an Animal Hosptial, looking to expand my time with animals. I have 7 years of animal care, including 4 of those years working at a doggie daycare/kennel environment which has allowed me to understand dogs better, and how their body language/behavior is when it comes to being in a kennel environment and in a home environment. My dog Mango and I love to go on walks whether it’s to her favorite swimming area, or just in a field to run around and play ball. We are always out walking no matter the weather! I have experience taking care of animals ranging from puppies all the way to seniors. I have experience doing medications as well for both cats and dogs. I would love to help be a pet sitter for your wonderful fur babies. Don’t hesitate to reach out 😊 Always can fit in time to take your furbaby on a walk if they are energetic, or sit at home and give them attention if they are a homebody. Always love playing ball and being outside no matter the weather. For my own home I do not have a fenced in yard but my golden has a electric fence that she has been trained on to stay in the area when we are outside playing, or just enjoying the weather. If a fenced in yard is something you don’t have, I am always willing to find a quiet dog area to let your pup run, or even be able to take on a nice long walk to burn out their energy

About: I've taken care of dogs and cats my entire life. I've had dogs in my family home, and 11 years ago we adopted a 7 week old puppy. We then adopted a kitten and completed our little family. I am often the go-to pet sitter for all of my friends and family and have experience sitting puppies, kittens, older dogs, and older cats! I promise your pets will be very loved during their stay and I will send pictures and videos everyday to make you comfortable while you’re away. I work from home so I have a very open schedule. We have an 11-year-old boxer mix who relies on me for walks and love every day! In our home, the animals are prioritized. We have a fenced-in backyard and are across the street from a large park. Dogs and cats are allowed in the bed and on the furniture, and our spacious house offers plenty of room to play!
“Luna really enjoyed her stay with Ardelia. We have a special needs dog and Ardelia was very understanding and helpful. We would definitely work with Ardelia again.”

About: I’ve loved dogs for as long as I can remember, and having my own dog since I was 12 made them a big part of my life growing up. Being away from home for college means I really miss my dog, which is one of the reasons I enjoy dog-sitting so much, it lets me spend time caring for and bonding with dogs while giving them the attention they deserve. Over the past three years in Boston, I’ve regularly dog-sat for friends and families who trust me because I’m dependable, attentive, and focused on maintaining each dog’s routine and comfort. I’m currently a senior in college with classes mainly in the mornings, so I’m home and available for most of the day. This schedule allows me to prioritize pet care, stick to routines, and provide consistent supervision and attention. When dogs stay with me, I make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for by following their usual schedule as closely as possible. Dogs are never left alone for more than four hours, and I send daily updates and photos so owners feel reassured while they’re away. My apartment also has a dog park amenity, which makes potty breaks and outdoor time easy, safe, and convenient
“Yan was SO wonderful! Very attentive to text and sent lots of photos during doggy daycare. Flexible on hours and fed him lunch each day. Bodhi looked very happy and well cared for at pickup. Capped of our visit with an adorable Polaroid of our dog’s face. Would definitely work with Yan again!”

“Aline and her husband Sam were great. Extremely responsive and caring with Bobby. Sent me photos and updates throughout the day and made me certain he was being well taken care of. I would leave Bobby with them in a heartbeat.”

“Emily and Robbie were great! Really responsive, sent a lot of photos, really made my dog feel comfortable and at home. I will definitely be using them again!”

“Jim was super accommodating for my last minute request. He and his sons were so sweet with Mowgli, and even made him a little fort. His location is extremely close to South Station and easy to get to”

About: I’m a lifelong dog owner with hands-on experience caring for a wide range of breeds, from energetic puppies to quirky seniors. I work from home, so I’m able to offer tons of attention, exercise, and consistency throughout the day. Having lived with everything from labs to Pyrenees mixes, I understand the importance of meeting each dog’s unique needs, whether that’s structured walks, gentle senior care, or patient socialization for shy pups. I’m comfortable with big dogs and independent personalities, and my own experience training puppies and supporting older dogs means your pup is in caring, knowledgeable hands. What sets me apart is my lifelong experience caring for a variety of breeds—including puppies and seniors—and my work-from-home flexibility means dogs get real companionship and attention all day. I understand big, independent, and quirky personalities, and I prioritize individualized care, from puppy training to gentle support for older dogs. I take the time to get to know every dog, building trust through patience, routine, and play. Pet care is a natural part of my daily life, not an afterthought. Since I work from home, I’m able to integrate walks, playtime, and check-ins throughout the day—whether it’s a morning stroll, afternoon games in the park, or relaxed evenings together. My routine is flexible, so dogs always get outside for fresh air and exercise and receive plenty of attention between my work sessions. On weekends, I love exploring new neighborhoods, local parks, or heading to the beach—always bringing dogs along for new adventures. Whether it’s active pups needing stimulation or seniors who prefer a calm presence, I adapt my days to make sure every dog feels comfortable, safe, and part of my everyday world. When caring for pets in my home, I make sure they’re comfortable, safe, and integrated into my daily routine—regular walks to nearby parks or the beach, supervised playtime, and cozy rest spots throughout my home. I keep to each dog’s familiar schedule as much as possible, including feeding times, exercise, and any training or medication routines. In a client’s home, I respect their space and routines, making sure pets feel secure in their own environment. I follow all instructions closely, from special diet needs to unique quirks or favorite toys, and keep in touch with updates and photos so owners know their pets are happy and cared for. Most importantly, I treat every dog like they’re my own—with patience, structure, and genuine affection—whether they’re here for a day, a weekend, or longer.
“very helpful and flexible when I had last minute changes of plans. took excellent care of my dog and sent dozens of photos! my dog loved him and was so happy all day. i absolutely trusted he was in good hands.”

About: I have had pets in my house for as long as I can remember. Cats, dogs, a bunny, hamsters, geckos, fish, and guinea pigs. I even fostered multiple cats/kittens at a time. I love all the little quirks every dog has and no specific needs are off limits. I also have experience administering meds to dogs and cats. I want the animals to feel love and comfort while with me! I treat animals like family :) I am currently looking for a part time job (hopefully rover!), so my schedule might change. But as of now I am free 7 days a week and any time. I have no pets in my place currently. But I can give your dog walks/potty breaks at any time of the day. The pets are allowed on the couch and in bed if they wanted but if you prefer to bring their crate that’s ok too!

“Scout had a great first week with Aaron - she seemed happy with the walks and very comfortable with him. From the human side, he's a good and responsive communicator, and responsible around scheduling and closing up the house. He clearly loves dogs and has a good way with them. Thumbs up!”

About: Neighbors, friends, and family have trusted me to take care of their pets whenever they're away. I love getting to know each animal's personalities and make sure they're comfortable and taken care of. My schedule is pretty flexible since I work from home right now. I have a vehicle so it's easy for me to get around the city. I try to make sure pets are very comfortable and know not to push boundaries if they are not familiar with me. A gradual introduction is always good and I am very patient with them.
About: Apart from living with dogs my entire life, I've also pet sitted for several families on multiple occasions, and have volunteered as a dog walker at local shelters since I was in elementary school. I am currently work part-time and am a full-time graduate student. Fortunately, all of my academic obligations at this time are remote, so I'm quite flexible! Safety was always a huge part of my pet experience growing up, as many of my dogs and cats loved to defend our property or escape into the woods. From entering and exiting the home to walking, I am extremely cautious, always double-checking and never walking without a leash.
About: I've had a dog of my own for about 10 years, and I’ve also cared for other dogs for up to 5 days at a time. Pet care fits easily into my routine because I work remotely with flexible hours, so I’m available for regular walks throughout the day. I love taking breaks to get outside, and walking dogs is the perfect way to add movement and joy to my daily routine. I do my best to follow each pet’s routine as closely as possible to help them feel safe and comfortable. I make sure they have fresh food and water, get plenty of playtime and affection (if they want it!), and keep their space clean. I respect the client’s home, leave everything as I found it, and always keep in touch with updates and photos.

Guillermo showed me around the house so I could see where Kiara would stay, which put me at ease. Kiara quickly warmed up to him and didn’t seem upset when I left. During the day, Guillermo sent thoughtful updates and photos, which really helped me relax. When I came back to pick up Kiara, she was happy to see me. She gave me a few kisses and then settled on the couch like she was at home. I really appreciated Guillermo’s care, communication, and the calm, friendly atmosphere he created. I have already booked with him again.”
“Lori took great care of our 8 month old pup! She was super responsive and sent lots of pictures & updates. It was so nice having peace of mind knowing Maya was being well cared for while we were away!”
