About: Right now I have two bunnies at home but my family and friends always have dogs and cats around so I have a lot of experience taking care of both(also bunnies ofc), especially with elder dogs. I'm a very patient and observant person and animals usually LOVE me! I currently have a very flexible schedule, which means I can do drop-in visits anytime during the days, I would prefer dog walking in the afternoon more than the morning but that is totally negotiable! My jobs have been very communication/client based so I intend to bring that same level of care and reliability when looking after pets — making sure both you and your pet feel comfortable and at ease. I will ask you about their personalities and preferences before I meet them. I will start slow to earn their trust. Depending on whether they are energetic or shy, I can adapt to be playful or gentle with them too. During walks, I will prepare waste bags and treats if needed. I will also help clean their paws after a rainy/muddy walk. If your pets have specific toys you want me to play with them, I will make sure they have fun too!
“Margaret was the perfect housesitter and took excellent care of our pets who have specific medication and feeding needs! Was very nice to leave our furry ones in good hands without any stress of worry. She left our home in a cleaner condition than when she first arrived”

“Jennifer was great. We had a last-minute cancellation by another dog sitter, and were worried about finding someone. Jennifer was fast to reply, very communicative, and most importantly took great care of Crosby over the Thanksgiving holiday break. We will definitely ask her to watch him again!”

About: Hi! My name is Gabby and I am living in east Boston with my partner and our goldendoodle. I grew up in Northern Michigan with 5 dogs and 3 cats, and had tons of animals in my neighborhood that I would walk, sit, play with, etc, for as long as I can remember! My partner and I work from home and have a backyards. My schedule is flexible so please reach out if you have any questions, and I look forward to hearing from you! I recently moved to Southie for grad school and am searching for employment so my schedule is very open and flexible. I make sure to set aside time each day to walk/run so pet care would fit perfectly into my routine! I believe each pet has individual needs that I am able to provide. Ensuring the animals safety is top priority and I have experience with very young animals and older ones as well.
About: I have taken care of dog most of my life even though they weren't mine I loved them as if they were my own. I have taken care of dogs with anxiety or with stomach problems. I will be in south carolina for the summer before going to college. So I have lot of freetime and since I'm getting a job down here I thought I should get a job doing something I loved. I will take care of there safety and needs. I teat the pets that I've had with love and respect and I will continue to do so.
About: Hi I’m Meg! I had a dog myself for 17 years so I am used to caring for a dog! Whether they are a brand new puppy or a much older dog, I have experience! I have my own 2 year-old dog currently, so I have had recent experience with puppies and dogs! I am a full-time teacher but have flexible hours after school which can be anytime after 3! I am currently a full-time teacher so I have very flexible weekends!! During the week I have an open schedule after school which would be after 3! I have my own dog at home that LOVES other dogs so she can keep them company if that’s something your fur baby requires! If not, I totally understand! I would treat your pet how I would want anyone to care for my own pup!
About: I’ve been an animal lover for as long as I can remember, even though I didn’t have pets growing up. As soon as I could, I welcomed a sweet cat into my life, and we’ve been together for 3 years. Two years later, I inherited a step dog daughter, and caring for both has taught me so much about patience, play, and the unique needs of different animals. I know how important it is to trust someone with your pets, and I promise to give them the same love, attention, and care I give my own. I’m currently working full-time but have schedule flexibility! Can swing by mornings, afternoons, nights, and weekends. More than happy to accommodate whatever your furry friend needs! Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or yours, I focus on making them feel safe, loved, and comfortable. I stick closely to their usual routines — from feeding schedules to playtime and cuddle sessions — so they feel right at home. I provide fresh water, clean spaces, and plenty of enrichment, whether that’s interactive toys, gentle brushing, or quiet companionship. Most importantly, I treat every pet as if they were my own, giving them the attention and affection they deserve.
About: *Currently looking for gigs near for July 25-Aug 2nd this month** Hello! I am a recent Wellesley College graduate but I come from a big family in Austin, Texas. I've looked after dogs, cats, plants, and plenty of farm animals. I adore animals and have two dogs of my own back home. I have great communication and I am willing to send regular updates and photos to give owners peace of mind. I read and respond to signals that animals give attentively so your pets will be in great hands! I am looking forward to caring for your homes and pets. I am currently looking for jobs before starting grad school in the fall. I babysit occasionally, but I am often not away for more than 3-5 hours. My home is currently being renovated so I will not be hosting any pets there at the moment. I am happy to consider in home pet care after renovations are finished.
About: I'm Nicole! I'm 34, living in Brighton, and have been caring for dogs for four years now. I have experience with dogs of all sizes and have experience in a professional grooming salon. I'd be absolutely thrilled to be able to care for your furry family member! I am available many evenings. As a dog bather, I can help to trim your dogs nails and bathe them every few weeks as needed. I can help determine what kinds of shampoos and conditioners would be good for your dog. I can also externally express their anal glands as needed, if the dog is scooting his butt across the floor. I hope to meet you and your furry friend soon! I truly look forward to hearing from you, and working with your dog! I am also a cat owner of 15 years! My current cat is a 3 year old dude who I have had since he was just a kitten. I am currently available full-time to provide pet care! I am especially fond of dog walks because it is a good way to explore and get exercise. I make sure your fur baby feels safe around me and I move slowly, and watch their body language. I base my interactions with your pet on their body language.
About: I absolutely love spending time with pets! I was a dog owner until my 15 year old Goldendoodle passed away last year and I also grew up with cats! I work from home part time and have a very flexible schedule! I’m happy to adapt to your needs and schedule. I have both a bike and car so can get to you very quickly. I have been a house-sitter before and am used to being a very respectful house guest. If I host your pet in my apartment, we have a nice grassy backyard for them to play in and a park that is a two minute walk away. Because I work from home, they will have plenty of company.

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - East Boston
George had a very recent incident swallowing a toy and was on watch for aspiration pneumonia. When he got sick and the vet recommended he come back in, Gabrielle took great care of him and kept me posted on his status. It is such a relief to know I can leave my babies in such good hands!

Haowen watched our two Australian Shepherds while we were on vacation, and we couldn’t have felt more comfortable leaving them in his care! He provided amazing communication throughout our trip and sent us pictures every day, which gave us so much peace of mind knowing our pups were happy, safe, and well cared for. It’s clear that Haowen genuinely cares about the dogs he watches, and we truly appreciated how reliable and attentive he was. Coming home to two happy pups made our vacation experience even better! We would absolutely book with Haowen again and highly recommend him to anyone looking for someone trustworthy to care for their pets.

Bethany was great! She house sat for us and our two Boston terriers, sent lots of pictures, and took great care of them and the house. All pet parents know how stressful it is to leave your furbabies behind and it was such a relief knowing they’re in good hands.

Triin was the perfect sitter! She was able to ensure all of Clancy’s needs were met while we were away from our puppy for the first time. Triin’s attention to detail and ability to provide the appropriate training, play and care for Clancy made us feel relieved and comfortable to leave Clancy with her. Thank you, Triin! Would recommend her to anyone!

Juliana watched our dog and cat for a week, and her conscientiousness, anticipation of their needs, and excellent communication really stood out. Our beloved companions were safe, clearly well-loved, and kept happy and stimulated while we were away. She also took wonderful care of our home—everything was left exactly as we found it, if not better. We had complete confidence in Juliana and would absolutely have her stay with them again. Thank you, Juliana!

I cannot recommend Arik enough - he did an excellent job housesitting my Cane Corso and I will definitely be booking with him again. From start to finish, communication, clear was easy and prompt. Throughout the stay Arik sent plenty of photos of my pup, and my dog was as happy as could be in every update. He also took great care of my apartment! I highly recommend Arik, especially if you have a large guardian breed - experienced, confident, and trustworthy sitters are hard to come by and he excelled on all fronts.

Hillary is reliable, communicative, and super easy to work with. It’s hard to find a truly great sitter on Rover, and this was by far our best experience..we feel super lucky to have met her! She took great care of our high energy dog and brought him to the park several times, on long walks, and even on an adventure to the Sowa market. He was well loved and taken care of the entire time. She provided great updates and photos, and was flexible when we needed to extend by a few hours. 12/10!
