About: I grown up in a household that has always had dogs. Family, friends, and neighbors have relied on me to take care of their pets since I was 12. I miss taking care of my parents dog, so I would love to take care of yours! I am active so I would love to take your pet on walks or play in the park. I have a fenced in yard and near plenty of parks, and am very aware of my surroundings inside and outside. I work remotely Wednesday through Friday and can schedule walks or sittings around my job. I am also available weekends at any time if day. Im Amanda, lover of all pets young and old, big and small. We can do walks, hikes, even to a play day at the park. I have a pet friendly apartment and a yard. Any specific requests for them? Let me know! I allow them on my bed and couch, unless you prefer them not to. I always keep the water bowl full and pets happy and healthy.

About: I have been a dog owner my entire life and come from a family of animal lovers. I have worked with my own dogs to train them and to build trust and understanding, and am comfortable adapting my approach to fit the animal’s needs and the preferences of the pet’s family! I’m committed to competent care-taking informed by the animal’s needs. My experience: Worked as a pet sitter for the dogs, cats, and small animals like guinea pigs and hamsters of family friends for about 3 years; Volunteered as a caretaker for birds at the Minnesota Wildlife Rehabilitation Center for 1 year; Acted as a foster family for a dalmation/whippet mix for 2 months; Have been a dog-walker and pet-sitter with Rover since 2020. I’m happy to schedule visits and walks on certain weekdays and any weekend. I’m able to work remotely, but will need to plan around, which is why I request at least 3 days notice for any booking or change of plans. I am a big fan or midday and evening walks, and would be happy to have an animal companion with me for them! My approach is to create a stable routine and clear boundaries for any pets in my care. I am adaptable for what the space demands and based on the animal’s familiarity with a situation, for example being in a new space versus being in their primary home. I am cautious and considerate about the disposition of the pet I’m in charge of, so I will always try to avoid putting them in a situation they are not comfortable with or that has too many variables for me to respond to safely.

About: I’ve had dogs in my family since I was born and cats all throughout college - animals have always been part of my life, but now that I live alone in Boston, it’s a bit expensive to raise an animal. I babysit for friends’ dogs and cats all the time but am really looking forward to more constant companionship! Training has always been really easy for me and I’m very much looking forward to playing with or welcoming your cat or dog, of any size, shape, or age. They will all be spoiled as much as you allow. My home is heated with mini-splits and has hardwood floors, so any accidents can be undone easily :) I have a fenced-in yard that is shared occasionally with the upstairs doggie. I run a startup so I can come home on a flexible schedule determined by your dog or cat - and am home 70% of the time on weekends, ready to be out and about entertaining your pet on a walk or chilled at home with a book and cooking. No loud noises, fast traffic, or children to worry about in my home! If I am in your home, I will do exactly as you request and avoid any disruptions to your pet’s routine or comfort levels. If you trust your dog or cat to me in my home, I’ll do my best to replicate as much of their environment as possible and make sure they don’t miss you TOO much!

Haowen watched our two Australian Shepherds while we were on vacation, and we couldn’t have felt more comfortable leaving them in his care! He provided amazing communication throughout our trip and sent us pictures every day, which gave us so much peace of mind knowing our pups were happy, safe, and well cared for. It’s clear that Haowen genuinely cares about the dogs he watches, and we truly appreciated how reliable and attentive he was. Coming home to two happy pups made our vacation experience even better! My wife and I came to Boston from Worcester because our son was having surgery at Boston Medical Center. The surgery required three days of recovery at the hospital. At the last minute our dog sitter in Worcester had an emergency and couldn't help us, so we had to bring the dog with us to the hotel which was dog friendly. Thank God we were able to contact Masiel at the last minute and she was able to hang out with our dog at the hotel, take the dog for walks and potty breaks, while we attended to our son at the hospital across the street. She is very cooperative, professional and flexible. Our dog, Isabella, was so happy to spend time with Masiel, so I guess our dog also made a good friend in Boston! I highly recommend Masiel.
Bethany was great! She house sat for us and our two Boston terriers, sent lots of pictures, and took great care of them and the house. All pet parents know how stressful it is to leave your furbabies behind and it was such a relief knowing they’re in good hands.
Anna did a fantastic job watching our two dogs! It was not an easy job with two dogs with different needs, one dog struggling with a skin infection and on new medication and both having just moved to the area. Anna gave us regular updates, followed all of our instruction/preferences, and made us feel at ease while we were out of town. We have already booked her for another stay and are thrilled to have found a sitter we can trust!
Willow was wonderful!!! I needed to find someone last minute due to a death in the family, and Willow came through big time! She made the time to come to my apartment before I left to meet me and my pup and even took her for a walk the same week, just to make sure my dog knew who she was and she could familiarize herself with my dog and my home. She was a clear, effective, and wonderful communicator and companion to my dog when I was out of town, and I swear she left my apartment cleaner than when she arrived! I can’t wait to have Willow back to help with my dog, and I would highly recommend her to help out with any other pets!
Triin was the perfect sitter! She was able to ensure all of Clancy’s needs were met while we were away from our puppy for the first time. Triin’s attention to detail and ability to provide the appropriate training, play and care for Clancy made us feel relieved and comfortable to leave Clancy with her. Thank you, Triin! Would recommend her to anyone!
Sean gave Gilly tons of attention and took excellent care of her while we were away, including giving her medication and accommodating her weird schedule. He sent photos and updates throughout the day so I always felt in the loop. We would be thrilled to have him watch Gilly again in the future.
Brianna is the BEST! She treated my senior pups with so much love and care, delivering their multiple medications with skill and making sure they were comfortable in my absence. She communicated with me regularly, sending great pictures. In the pictures of their snuggles, I could see how happy my dogs were with her. I definitely plan to work with Brianna again!
