“I had a phenomenal experience leveraging Stacy for house and pet sitting. I knew from our first meet and greet she would be wonderful and she was! Stacy was thorough, patient, kind and organized. I look forward to using her services again.”

“Victoria stayed at my house for 5 days and cared for my elderly cat, who needs daily medication. She sent frequent updates and photos and took great care of my dear Nanette. She left the house clean and neat. I wouldn't hesitate to book her again and recommend her highly.”

“Angie was absolutely fabulous with our pup! She was so caring, sent plenty of adorable updates, and treated Maisy like her own. It was clear our dog loved her, too! Without a doubt, we’d love to book with Angie again. Thank you for taking such great care of our pup and our apartment!”

“We have two pets that require daily meds (multiple times a day) and Tommy was enthusiastic to learn and care for them. He was always on time and extremely communicative. We got daily pics of our babies too which was a massive plus for us. Thanks again, Tommy!”

“I am so glad that I gave Rover a try. It was so easy to use. Chandler was great and you can tell that she loves dogs. It was really nice to be able to spend the day out with my family and know that our dogs were safe and taken care of!”

“Katie was absolutely wonderful! She was very communicative and punctual, and we really appreciated the photo updates she sent of our dogs while we were away. It gave us such peace of mind knowing they were in great hands. She made the whole experience easy and stress-free, and we’ll definitely be using her again the next time we need someone to watch our dogs. Highly recommend!”

“Danielle was great! She shared great updates and pics of kuzco while we were traveling and it was clear how much she cared about him being comfortable and having a good time with her!”

“Isabella took very good care of my two Boston Terriers. She communicated with us regularly and sent lots of pictures. Both my girls looked they they were having fun while we were gone. I would highly recommend Isabella and would certainly use her again.”

“I cannot recommend Ainsley enough!!! She came to hang out with Daisy ( our cavapoo) a few times leading up to her staying at our house. She is so sweet and so good with nervous puppies. I was so happy when we came home and saw how much Daisy loved being with Ainsley. We will definitely be booking with Ainsley again. Her communication with me while we were away was amazing I couldn’t have asked for better care for our dog.”

“Belen took such good care of Pedrito! We've had two sitters move out of the area, and I'm so glad it was easy to find Belen who was clear, communicative, and has experience with small, reactive dogs like mine. Belen's calm demeanor is just what my dog needs. She gave him the space and opportunity to approach her when he was ready when they first met, which made a huge difference. He warmed up to her pretty quickly because of that patience. I would definitely recommend booking with Belen. She housesat, which I appreciated because that's the most comfortable for my dog. She sent lots of update pictures and videos while I was away. Can't say enough great things, thanks Belen! I'll definitely be booking with you again for Pedrito!”

“Amazing pet and house sitter. We felt completely at ease being out of the country while Sofia watched our beagle and stayed at our house. Everything was neat and clean, dog fed and walked, plants watered. Would highly recommend Sofia and hope to hire her again!!”

“Leonardo took wonderful care of our cat, Genie, while we were away on our five day honeymoon. He came by daily to feed her, clean her litter box, and spend time with her. We especially appreciated that he brushed her when he noticed her fur was getting a bit matted and made sure to give her plenty of pets and attention. He was very communicative throughout the entire stay, sending daily updates and pictures that really put us at ease and let us know Genie was in great hands. It made such a difference being able to relax on our trip knowing she was being so well cared for. We would absolutely recommend Leonardo to others and would happily book with him again in the future!”

“Catherine was an amazing cat sitter and I would absolutely rebook with her again. She followed all of my care instructions very carefully and was extremely attentive to my cats’ needs while I was away. One thing that really stood out to me was how quickly she noticed an issue with my cat Bruce, who has chronic constipation. I had explained the warning signs to look out for before I left, and the very first night I was gone she noticed he was trying to use the litter box but couldn’t. She contacted me immediately, made herself available for a phone call, and followed all of the care steps I walked her through. Thankfully, Bruce improved a lot after that, and I was so grateful she caught it so early. She also sent constant updates and photos throughout the trip, so I was never left wondering how my babies were doing. Catherine house sat for two nights as well, and when I came home my apartment was exactly as I left it. I felt like my cats and home were genuinely cared for while I was away. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, attentive, and compassionate pet sitter.”

About: I have never lived without a pet. My love for animals started at an early age and I gained professional experience over time. I’m an animal welfare advocate, a former receptionist at VCA Animal Hospitals and former Pet Care Specialist at Boston Red Dog. I also have 150+ five-star reviews on another pet care platform, reflecting consistent and trusted care. I have experience with dogs of all ages, sizes, and temperaments, including senior pets and special needs pets who need extra patience and gentle handling. I understand how important it is to feel confident when choosing someone to care for your pet, so I prioritize clear communication, safety, and detailed updates throughout every service, including report cards. I’m also comfortable giving oral medications when mixed with food or treats, following pet parent instructions carefully. My goal is always to make sure your pet feels safe, loved, and at ease while you have peace of mind. I look forward to meeting you and your pets! I currently work fully remote from 9–5, which gives me flexibility for drop-ins, pet sitting in your home, and limited boarding in my home. I’m also available weekday evenings and throughout the weekend. At the moment, pet sitting in a client’s home is usually the best fit for me and allows pets to stay comfortable in their familiar environment. I share my home with a 12-year-old Chihuahua mix and a 7-year-old blind cat. Both are gentle and accustomed to calm introductions with other pets. Because I currently have pets at home, boarding is best suited for smaller dogs and pets that are comfortable around cats and other dogs. I prioritize safety, patience, and making sure pets feel comfortable at their own pace. I keep a checklist for every pet to make sure feeding, fresh water, walks, litter box cleaning, medications, and routines are all completed consistently and thoroughly. I also provide regular updates, photos, and videos throughout visits so you can feel connected and reassured while you’re away. If boarding is needed, I provide cozy beds, blankets, clean bowls, fresh water, and can accommodate your pet’s food, treats, toys, and medications based on your instructions. Most importantly, I genuinely love spending time with animals and making sure they feel safe, cared for, and loved!
“We have an older dog with some mobility issues and high anxiety. We were nervous about leaving him with anyone but Bridget was wonderful. We got pictures every day and a summary of Willie’s day and we honestly never worried the whole time we were gone. Bridget is very caring and responsible and we recommend her highly. Willie loved her!!!”

“I can’t say enough great things about Ailise! She helped me out last minute this weekend, and the entire experience exceeded my expectations. From the moment we connected, she was responsive, kind, and genuinely caring with my dogs. It was such a relief knowing my pups was in great hands while I was away. Ailise went above and beyond with updates, photos, attention to detail, and making sure my dogs felt loved the whole time. You can truly tell she cares about animals and treat them like family. I came home to happy, relaxed dogs and I’m so grateful for the care and flexibility she provided on short notice. I would absolutely book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy, dependable, and compassionate dog sitter!”

“Arshneel was a dream! Dre clearly loved her and she took such great care of our home— even offering to water the plants when I had forgotten lol. Her updates were consistent and she always responded right away if we had a question. We will certainly be requesting her services in the future!”

South Dorchester pet parents share their Rover experiences
Our dog, Toby, LOVES when Bridget comes over to stay with him. They had a great long weekend and she made sure we had updates and pics along the way. She gave him watermelon snacks, walks around the neighborhood, and hung out with him in his favorite sun spot on our deck. We always trust her to care for our Toby. :)

Tommy’s been helping care for my high-maintenance and anxious dog Juju for a few months now and he’s taken amazing care of her and gone the extra mile to be responsive and flexible. He’s super responsible, experienced, and absolutely loves dog. Juju adores him. I’m grateful to have established this relationship and will be working with Tommy in the future!

Cyn took excellent care of our 3 small dogs in our home while we were away on a 5 day trip. Our Morkie takes awhile to warm up to strangers but Cyn was eventually able to get her to go on walks with the rest of the pack. We received updates and photos every day, walks to the nearby park and throwing the ball for our mini Aussie (sorry he doesn't retrieve the ball!). While our dogs were excited to see us return, they went right back to their normal behavior soon after. This is the main reason we hired Cyn to stay in our home and know she took special care of our loved ones. Upon picking up our mini aussie after boarding with a local business, he was "shell shocked" for a day or 2 after which is exactly why we are so grateful to have found Cyn as a caretaker.

Leonardo took wonderful care of our cat, Genie, while we were away on our five day honeymoon. We would absolutely recommend Leonardo to others and would happily book with him again in the future!

I was scrambling last min and Irichiya really came through. Even with my less than ideal logistical options she was flexible and reliable. While the pup was very nervous, he was so well taken care of by her patience and attention to his needs. Would absolutely work with again!
