“Amy has done a great job taking care of our two cats and our house. This is the third time she's stayed here, and we plan to hire her again. She clearly loves cats, and we can tell our guys like her too.”

“Rev was the most responsive, caring and thoughtful caring person! She sent us many, many pictures with updates throughout the days we were away and went out of her way to coordinate with our families as I had undergone an emergency surgery and couldn’t make it back in time. Simply put, Rev is the bestest!!”

“Ariauna was a great pet and house sitter! Our home was in immaculate condition when we returned and most importantly, our dog was extremely well taken care of with lots of love, attention, and exercise. Ariauna made sure to pay close attention to all our neurotic notes and instructions sent us lots of pictures and updates about our dog Dempsey. I think it’s safe to say he has a new best bud :) Ariauna also catered to all of Dempsey’s silly quirks and administered his meds with ease. We would highly recommend Ariauna (and her sister Serena!) for all your pet and house sitting needs.”

“Tommy was a fantastic sitter for Pearl while I was away! They were very responsive to my texts and I got plenty of updates throughout my trip. Pearl got ton of attention and cuddles and Tommy was very neat and kept the house tidy. I’ll definitely have Tommy care for Pearl again in the future!”

About: I have been a pet sitter for a couple years! Also, I have volunteered and interned at a veterinary hospital; these experiences helped me become more informed on pet care. My main priority is providing your pet with the best care!! I will clean water bowl, litter box and always provide fresh food! I currently work a full time job but typically free Monday anytime after 6:30pm, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday anytime before 2pm, and I am available anytime on Thursday, Saturday, Sunday. My main priority is comfort - making sure you are comfortable with entrusting your pet in my care and making sure your pet is comfortable with me. I will do this by allowing the pet to become familiar with me so they aren’t scared and providing treats as well as playful sessions to get them comfortable.
“Paul is extremely attentive with our pups and really treats them to a good time while we are away. We feel so lucky to have Paul and we know our pups feel the same.”

“Angie is the best ever!! Not only is she amazing with my puppy, but she also takes the best care of my space and I come home to a well taken care of pup and a spotless apartment! She also constantly keeps me updated throughout her stay which is amazing :)”

“Ginny was so amazing! She took great care of our babies and sent us the sweetest photos during her time with them. Her communication is stellar and she left our home immaculate.”

“Koralis is great. My dog is happy and my apt is very clean. While I was away my boiler wouldn’t reset and I’m afraid to say the place had no heat or hot water. I am so sorry about this”

“Irichiya is our favorite sitter!! Our dog loves her, she takes great care of Charlie and our place, and is always responsive and helpful. We will book her as many times as she will say yes!”

“Cynthia was very responsive and responsible right from the beginning. Given that we had had some past unpleasant experiences with house sitting, she was very receptive to our instructions and kept us informer. On the day of our return, as our flight was landing late, she offered to stay back late till we arrived! We would be definitely using her services quite often.”

“Moments after landing in New York, we received a message that the Rover we booked had a family emergency and had to leave. We were so distraught! After a frustrating call with Rover help, we contacted Kissie who responded within seconds, and went to housesit for us almost immediately. While we would normally never book someone without a meet and greet, Kissie understood the situation and truly came to the rescue. She was so responsive and responsible, and our dog had the best time with her! She even sent us personalized video messages and gorgeous photos that made our dog look like a model. So thank you Kissie, for saving our trip!”

“Sofi was a great sitter! She sent lots of updates and photos throughout the stay, which gave us peace of mind knowing the babies were doing well. She also left the house very clean. Would definitely book with her again! 😊”

“Annmarie took care of our cat and senior dog over a long weekend. She was responsive and responsible, and sent regular updates. We look forward to having her care for our pets in our home again.”

“Paul was very attentive and thoughtful while he watched our dog. It was our first time using Rover, and he really went above and beyond to provide the best care. We were nervous because our dog is reactive, but he was amazing and I would 10/10 recommend him!”

“I cannot recommend David enough. We book him for walks and dog sitting. He’s on time, professional, caring, kind and communicative. And our dogs love him!”

North Dorchester pet parents share their Rover experiences
Ally was amazing! My pet sitter cancelled last minute and she was able to house/cat sit for me while I was away. She was truly wonderful - great communication, amazing care, and she sent lots of pictures while I was away! It’s always hard leaving my cat behind but Ally made it easier because I knew Gracie was being loved and taken care of!!

Aymbre did a great job house sitting while we were away for the weekend. She followed all of our instructions for Oakley, provided daily updates and pictures, and left our house clean and tidy. We would highly recommend Aymbre to anyone looking for a house sitter!

Hillary did amazing with both of my dogs while I was away. They’ve never stayed with anyone besides family so I was pretty nervous but she communicated very well, sent lots of pictures and updates. Comfortable knowing I can book with her again and have peace of mind that my babies are well taken care of.

Highly recommend Karah! She is the best dog sitter we’ve had. She sends regular updates and photos, she is very responsive and she handles tough situations well. Our pup wasn’t feeling the best while we traveled and Karah did everything right. Definitely recommend her if you’re looking for a wonderful dog sitter.

Devon stayed in our apartment for a week to house sit and take care of our dog, Alfred, and the whole experience was great. We got frequent updates and photos, which made it easy to actually relax while we were away. Devon was also very flexible when our travel plans changed, and handled everything without any stress. We came home to a spotless apartment, and Alfred clearly had a wonderful time. He looked happy, calm, and very well cared for. They went on fun walks together in the snow and even took trips to the grocery store. We would happily have Devon back anytime and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring house sitter.

Noah was great with my dog, Charlie! He came over for a meet and greet first, which I really appreciated, and he was so kind, patient, and easy to work with from the start. While I was away, Noah kept me updated and made me feel totally at ease. I was also genuinely impressed that he was able to take Charlie on walks even when the weather wasn’t great. Charlie can be a little tricky to get outside and often tries to nip, and Noah handled him so calmly and confidently. To my surprise, there were zero nipping incidents! Noah was also super flexible and accommodated a last minute request to extend the stay. Highly recommend Noah!

Sean did a wonderful job providing in-home care for my foster cat, Lyric, while I was out of town on a weekend trip. Sean was very conscientious from the start; he suggested a meet-and-greet ahead of time, which I really appreciated, and he was able to win over the shy little guy on his very first visit. All of this gave me a lot of confidence leaving Lyric in Sean's care. During his stay, Sean kept me well informed, letting me know when he was heading out during the day and sending regular photos and updates. It was reassuring to see Lyric being fed, relaxed, and accepting pets--not something he does very easily with new people. Sean was also kind enough to decline my offer of reimbursement for food during his stay. One small area for improvement could perhaps be scooping Lyric's litter box a bit more frequently, but overall my experience was very positive. I would absolutely recommend Sean to anyone looking for a reliable, communicative, and thoughtful cat sitter. Thank you.
