“Kristina did a great job housesitting and taking care of my senior dog. She gave me real peace of mind. My dog can be both timid and stubborn and Kristina had a lot of patience with her. Within a few hours my dog was trusting of her which was a great sign. Kristina went above and beyond caring for my dog including the precautions we take with her mobility issues. Kristina provided tons of timely communication with texts and photos. She left my home clean. I’d recommend Kristina to anyone who’s nervous about leaving their dog with a sitter.”

“We can not say enough good about Luis and the care he took of our two pets: Baloo (a 4 year old hound dog) and Soupbelly ( a 8 month ish old kitten). We were out of the country for a little over three weeks in which Luis attended to every need of both pets. In addition to the usual care, he also took Baloo to nearby off leash parks, which is his favorite thing to do. In addition to graciously sharing his bed with both pets he spoiled them with treats and outings and kept us up to date with lots of pictures, which were so appreciated. Being so far away, it was a relief to know our pets were so well cared for and loved in our absence. And last but not least, he took great care of our house which was an added bonus!”

About: Caring for animals has always been a huge part of my life, and I have around 10 years of experience looking after pets of all kinds. I have cared for dogs, cats, turtles, lizards, rodents, and plenty of other critters over the years, so I feel very comfortable adapting to different personalities, needs, and routines. Through caring for my own cat, I have become very attentive to animals’ unique needs, routines, and personalities. I truly love spending time with animals and find a lot of fulfillment in making sure they feel safe, comfortable, cared for, and happy while their owners are away. In both my own home and a client’s home, I prioritize maintaining a pet’s normal routine as closely as possible because I know consistency helps animals feel safe and reduces stress when their owner is away. This includes feeding schedules, walks, playtime, fresh water, litter box or waste cleanup, and of course, plenty of affection and companionship. I pay close attention to an animal’s behavior and personality so I can respond to their individual needs, whether that means active play, quiet company, extra patience, or giving them space. My goal is always to make pets feel secure, well cared for, and as relaxed and happy as possible while their owner is away!

“Marcus (listed as Devon on Rover) was a phenomenal sitter for my GSD Izzy. He was in constant communication with me and my family around her care, went out of his way to ensure she had three walks and plenty of play time each day and made sure her scheduled walks, medication, and feeding times remained structured for the 2.5 weeks I was traveling. Izzy is a very loving dog but does require a confident handler with advanced knowledge given her working dog temperament and Marcus adapted to her needs seamlessly. Would recommend and rebook without hesitation (in fact we already have) and was grateful to have him for our extended sit. It allowed me to travel with sustained peace of mind and I returned home to a VERY happy and pampered dog who seemed less excited by my return than she was disappointed by Marcus’ departure!”

About: I grown up in a household that has always had dogs. Family, friends, and neighbors have relied on me to take care of their pets since I was 12. I miss taking care of my parents dog, so I would love to take care of yours! I am active so I would love to take your pet on walks or play in the park. I have a fenced in yard and near plenty of parks, and am very aware of my surroundings inside and outside. I work remotely Wednesday through Friday and can schedule walks or sittings around my job. I am also available weekends at any time if day. Im Amanda, lover of all pets young and old, big and small. We can do walks, hikes, even to a play day at the park. I have a pet friendly apartment and a yard. Any specific requests for them? Let me know! I allow them on my bed and couch, unless you prefer them not to.
