He was in constant communication with me and my family around her care, went out of his way to ensure she had three walks and plenty of play time each day and made sure her scheduled walks, medication, and feeding times remained structured for the 2.5 weeks I was traveling. Izzy is a very loving dog but does require a confident handler with advanced knowledge given her working dog temperament and Marcus adapted to her needs seamlessly. Would recommend and rebook without hesitation (in fact we already have) and was grateful to have him for our extended sit. It allowed me to travel with sustained peace of mind and I returned home to a VERY happy and pampered dog who seemed less excited by my return than she was disappointed by Marcus’ departure!”

About: A fun fact about me is that I’ve cared for over 15 different dog breeds and worked with many more during my time at a veterinary animal hospital, everything from a Great Pyrénées to a Boston Terrier a Short Haired Bernese to a Bichon Frisé. My experience ranges from cozy couch cuddles to cross-country canicross! I also love working with dogs mentally, I taught a Beagle how to weave and perform several other agility tricks, if you know beagles this was quite the accomplishment! Whether your pup is energetic, laid-back, young, or old, I’m comfortable adapting to their personality and making sure they feel happy, safe, and loved! As a student, my schedule is pretty flexible, which means I’m often available during daytime hours when many people are at work. I have plenty of time between classes for walks, drop-ins, playtime, and keeping your pets company! Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my priority. I take the time to learn each pet’s routine, personality, and boundaries so they can feel secure and relaxed with me. Whether we’re out on a walk, playing, or hanging out at home, I’ll make sure they’re in a safe, loving, and comfortable environment.

She sent us many, many pictures with updates throughout the days we were away and went out of her way to coordinate with our families as I had undergone an emergency surgery and couldn’t make it back in time. About: Grew up with dogs, up to three at one time! Fostered german shorthair mix puppies and a pittie mix. Trained the pittie, puppies, and all our other dogs we’ve had! Walked and house sat neighbor’s dogs and friend’s dogs. Everything from shitzus, corgis, aussies, goldens, to great danes so all sizes are welcome! I’m a runner as well, so if you have a high energy dog I’m happy to take them on runs! Now in college without my dogs! I have no classes Monday, Wednesday, and Friday so easy for me to do plenty of walks on those days. I have availability on Tuesday and Thursday in the mornings and afternoons as well! I don’t have pets of my own now because I’m in college, but I miss all my dogs back home! More than happy to be flexible. I can care for pets in the client’s home and take them on walks or runs of any length. More than happy to adhere to any rules given by clients whether that’s crating or free roam for within the house!
