About: Hello, I would like to say I have had the joy of having dogs and petsitting throughout my life and have loved every aspect of it. My dog, Holly, lived to be 18 years old under my care. I took care of her from when she was a puppy until the end of her senior years so I have a wide range of knowledge on aging dogs. I have a lot of energy so keeping up with a dog's exercise needs will be no problem. And to me, pets are family. My childhood dog and cat were like little sisters to me so I understand the trust involved in letting someone else take care of them. I can assure you I have a wealth of compassion for animals, and, given the opportunity, I will care for your pets as if they were my own. Thank you for considering me to care for your dog/cat and I hope you have an amazing day! My schedule is pretty flexible. I have all day starting 10am Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday available as well as the rest of the week as long as the pet care ends by 2pm. I usually start by making sure the dog/cat has food and water, then I give them lots of pets and attention, and follow that by playing/running around. If my schedule doesn't work for you please reach out so we can find a solution! My home has 2 locked doors to get in and is in a very safe part of Somerville. I currently have a gecko who I feed daily and ensure he has a balanced diet and regular vet appointments as well as enrichment. When I had dogs and cats in the past I was outside for hours every day playing with them and making sure their lives were happy and fun. It brings me a lot of joy to see animals happy and enjoying life. Their lives are so short I want to make every moment a great one!
