“Eva is so kind, attentive, and highly responsive. Her communication is consistently clear and prompt—I’ve never had to wait too long for a reply from her. She is also very accommodating and flexible, which I appreciated. My cat seemed comfortable in all the photos she shared and I would absolutely go back to her again in the future.”

“Juliet is excellent! This is my second time booking with her. She made my slightly shy cat feel very comfortable! My cat even went in for some lap cuddles which is rare for her. Highly recommend”

“Courtney was great with our two cats while we were away on vacation. She stopped by for a quick meet and greet before we left, and our cats loved her instantly. Each time she stopped by, she sent updates and photos. Our cats were spoiled with treats, playtime and snuggles while we were gone.”

“Jumped in the last minute to help us with a skittish cat. She was AMAZING. Totally dependable, thorough and helped us get our kitty to the vet and back without incident. Really appreciated her thoroughness. Couldn’t do better for a pet sitter / carer.”

“Caitlyn did a great job taking care of my cat while I was gone! She provided several pictures and detailed updates so I could stay informed of how everything was going each day. Would recommend her to others!”

About: My family has had a dog for over 15 years and truly understand how much they mean to their families. Over the years, neighbors and friends have trusted me to walk and care for their dogs, and I treat every one of them like my own. I’m patient, attentive, and focused on making each dog feel safe, happy, and genuinely cared for. I’m currently a college student, which gives me a flexible schedule. I’m available on weekends, Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Friday mornings. I’m reliable and happy to work with your routine to make sure your pet gets the care they need. When caring for pets in their home, I focus on keeping their routine as normal and stress-free as possible. I follow your instructions closely for feeding, walks, medications, and any specific preferences your pet has. I make sure they get plenty of attention, exercise, and affection while also respecting your space and keeping everything clean and tidy. My goal is for your pet to feel safe and comfortable in their own home while you’re away.
“Kiara did a wonderful job of looking after my elderly cat while we were away for a week. She was super responsive and did a great job! She definitely made us feel like our cat was in good hands”

“Katherine went above and beyond in just a single visit. It was immediately clear how much she genuinely cares for animals, especially cats. Finding a trustworthy cat sitter can be surprisingly difficult, so we feel incredibly lucky to have found Katherine!”

About: I have always had a love for dogs, growing up with 2 dogs of my own. I currently have a bichon poodle mix named Cody, who is my best friend. I am a recent graduate of Northeastern University looking to get outside, meet dogs, and make a little bit of money before I head off to medical school in August! I currently work per-diem and will have plenty of time during the week and weekend to hang out and walk your dogs! I love to be outside and walking dogs is the perfect way to get some exercise and sun in, while helping out our adorable little friends. I love to have fun with our furry friends, but J will ALWAYS put safety first. I am a certified EMT (for humans 😊) but this training extends to pets as well. I am also certified in Dog/Cat/Pet First Aid and CPR and have extensive training in this area.

About: I’ve been in the vet field for almost 9 years now. I have plenty of experience handling both dogs and cats, with or without behavioral issues. I’m very accustomed to administering medications. I have the luxury of being able to bring me pets (or the pets I am watching) to work with me so they rarely have to be alone I work full-time during the weekdays, but I work at a vet hospital so I’m able to bring my pets with me. They get to spend the day in my office and I take them out every couple of hours. I have a small apartment so when I am home, your dog will never go unsupervised. I am also always very respectful of other people’s places and will diligently follow any rules supplied
“We left for 2 weeks for our vacation and Chandler did a splendid job! She was very punctual and very communicative and she took many photos of our pets. She also did a wonderful job cleaning my Guinea pig’s cage! We are very grateful to have her. You and your fur babies will feel very happy to have Chandler as your sitter.”

About: I have pet sit for all kinds of creatures! In high school I worked in a science museum, where I was entrusted with animal care for all museum animals. I grew up living with cats and around dogs. I am known for becoming friends with any pet, no matter how antsy or shy they may be. I’m able to build trust with animals quickly, and have experience training puppies and kittens. I’m currently working part-time, so I have lots of availability. I love walking and running around Boston, and would love to take your pet with me! I’m detail-oriented and respect every owner’s individual rules and training with their pets. I can keep track of walking/sleeping/feeding schedules, medication, and response words.
“Jessica is AMAZING! She took great care of my precious kitties and sent pictures so that I would not miss them as much. I am so grateful to be able to travel and not have to worry about my fur babies!”
About: Growing up, I always wanted a pet of my own, but never could as my dad is allergic to fur. Luckily, this encouraged me to channel all my love for animals into dog-walking and pet-sitting starting at age 13, and it’s been a source of joy for me ever since! I have 12+ years of experience with dogs and cats of all ages, sizes, and breeds and with offering reliable, trustworthy, and extra-loving care for your sweet pets! I am a PA student in the city, which means I’m often in class from 8-5 M-F during our worst weeks, but I will be transitioning into a clinical rotation schedule this fall which will provide me much more flexibility and availability! For now, I am available for sporadic needs in the area based on my schedule. I know how important routine is, so I will do my best to keep your pets comfortable in their own space and adhere to their schedule and needs as you, the pet-parent, would! Plus as many cuddles and treats as I’m permitted :)
“Kimberly and Christie are amazing! They always send great updates and pictures of our two cats. They’re very reliable and communicative. They have become our go-to cat sitters!”

South End pet parents share their Rover experiences
Marie did a great job caring for our two cats while we were away. She kept me tuned in with daily reports and photos snd communicated well with any questions she had during visits. And she kept my container plants alive during very hot weather! Both cats were calm and relaxed when I returned.

Amanda took great care of my cat, Trinnie, over 3 consecutive weekends of travel while I adjusted to life in a new city. She consistently went above and beyond to make sure Trinnie had everything she needed and was very flexible and helpful when the automatic feeder had a malfunction. Her communication was excellent across all three bookings - with special mention to the update photos she captured! I couldn’t have asked for a better first experience with a pet sitter and will definitely rebook for any future trips!

Cynthia was so great with our senior kitties! We needed someone on short notice and she was super responsive and easy to coordinate with. Both of our cats receive medication twice a day so it was super important for us to find someone who was comfortable with that responsibility. Cynthia made sure each one got what they needed and sent us detailed updates. We had an issue with our smart lock during one of her drop ins and she alerted us immediately and came back later that night after it was sorted to make sure our girls were taken care of. Would absolutely use her again in the future!

Jenna spent a weekend checking in on our two cats and she was fantastic with them. One of our cats can be shy with strangers, but he warmed right up to her and they had lots of play time together. Jenna’s communication was great and she catered to our cats’ personalities and needs.

Sarah was amazing. We were looking for someone to take care of our cat while we were away last minute and Sarah was incredibly accommodating. Not only was she easy to communicate with, she also made our schedules work for her to pick up the keys. Our generally suspicious cat trusted her instantly - I couldn’t believe (and was delighted by) the photo updates she shared at each drop in. Could not recommend Sarah more highly!
