About: I have worked with animals young and old, stubborn and easy going, aggressive and anxious. I understand animal temperament, and I know how to get them to pose for a cite picture. I have a very flexible schedule. I can make time for pet care as long as I have a week's notice. Weekdays work better for me I will be in constant communication with you about your pet, and I will ask the right questions beforehand to make sure I'm prepared. I have ample references to pull from to make sure you feel safe.

It would be an honor to meet your beloveds! I currently work full time in Boston, so I will be available either early AMs or after 5PM. My weekend availability varies but I am definitely flexible! I start by reviewing any guidelines or needs your pet requires if they are provided by you. If not, I start by assessing your pet and making a decision on how to approach them. About: HI there! I'm Laura (LC), an animal lover with 10 years of professional pet care experience as a dog walker, pet sitter, kennel assistant, and trainer. My lease doesn't allow dogs (sniff), but I'm happy to come hang out with pups who may not adjust well to unfamiliar locations! I love all breeds and have extensive experience working with common behavioral issues like dog-, human- and toy-aggression, anxiety, pulling on the leash, whining, and digging, to name a few. I've worked with very young puppies, sick and seizure-prone dogs, and very senior dogs, and will always be gentle and safe with yours. I am trained in animal CPR and a pro at administering oral meds to reluctant dogs (and cats!) Always happy to meet ahead of time so you know what to expect!

About: For the past three years, I worked full-time at a large scale doggy daycare on the North Shore of Massachusetts. Throughout that time, I was caring for 80+ dogs a day, including additional pet sitting and walking outside of my working hours. There I was the boarding manager and a daycare lead. I have extensive knowledge about dog behavior, training and nutrition. I’m comfortable handling dogs of all size and age! I recently moved to the Brighton area. I’m a current graduate student at Boston University. Right now my schedule is extremely flexible and I have availability any day of the week for walks or drop in visits. I currently have a pet rabbit and a cat. I have extensive experience in animal care, specifically, dogs, cats, and rabbits. However, I have also taken care of birds, horses, and chickens.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 8 years old when we got our puppies, Truffles and Coco! Since then, I’ve been walking and overnighting with dogs for family, friends, and acquaintances. I can’t have my own dog right now so I feel so much joy when I get to spend time with other people’s pets. I am comfortable with all kinds of dogs of all ages and abilities, and if you have a dog that I can take on a long walk or hike, that’s a bonus! I currently do not have a 9-5 job so I am very flexible and able to walk / watch dogs at all times of the day as long as I plan ahead! In the summer I manage a farmers market and do outdoor seasonal work to that I have even been able to bring dogs to in the past :) I believe in building trust, openness, communication, and consent. If I am staying in your home taking care of your fur family, I like to be very up front about expectations, needs, and anything you or your family is uncomfortable with. I’ve lived in the Boston area for 5 years and know the different areas in and around quite well, but I’m always happy to hear and learn more about the specifics of your neighborhood and suggestions or advice for how to best care for your pet.
