About: About Me: I am a dog parent myself, with a 25lb Terrier mix named Lemonade who my husband and I rescued from a shelter in Texas about 6 years ago. Lemon is my best friend and little shadow. I am usually anxious to leave her in the care of others, so I deeply empathize with other owners who just want their pet to be safe, loved, and cared for responsibly. I’ve grown up around dogs my entire life and have a particular fondness for small breeds, but I truly love them all! I have done overnight stays with dogs ranging from 5-45 lbs (Toy Poodles, Doodles, small Terrier breeds, pitty mixes to name a few) but also have walking experience with medium/large sized dogs such as Standard Poodles, Portuguese Water Dogs, Golden Retrievers and Lab/Boxer mixes. A fun fact about me is that I am passionate about ALL animals, and one day I hope to have a small hobby farm with chickens, ducks, and goats. I would also like to adopt a cat in the near future. I am comfortable handling all types of animals from cats and dogs to rodents, rabbits, reptiles and birds. Additional Skills/ Experience: - Administering meds- oral, eye/ear drops, injections (ex: insulin).
