I recently transitioned from my full-time role as a paralegal at a law firm in downtown Boston and am dedicating my time throughout July and August to caring for pets. I have a fully fenced yard and live near several parks in Brighton's Oak Square neighborhood, providing plenty of opportunities for safe outdoor exercise and enrichment. I don't currently have a dog of my own, as my beloved Sheltie passed away two years ago, which means any dog in my care will receive my full attention. Whether I'm caring for a pet in my home or in a client's home, I prioritize keeping them comfortable by following their normal routine as closely as possible. I carefully follow feeding schedules, walking routines, medication instructions, and any special care requests. About: I’ve been caring for pets and animals since as far back as I can remember! Once I got my very own pets (a dog and two cats) outside of my family home, it became a whole new world of understanding what it takes to train and care for fur babies. My sweet Aussie, Poppy, like most, is high-energy and anxious, but getting her at just 8 weeks old gave me the opportunity to dive into the world of dog behaviorism and training. She has come leaps and bounds from the over-excited, reactive pup she was, and the work that goes into helping a dog feel more calm and confident in the world means a lot to me. I've worked with dog trainers and have researched for countless hours to understand how and why dogs and cats behave the way they do to give my own the best lives possible, and I would love to take the same care with your own fur baby! I have a flexible WFH schedule on Mondays and Thursdays, as well as weekend availability, that gives me the opportunity to fit in extra walks / visits with new fur babies! I'm comfortable administering medication, crating dogs, cleaning litter boxes, etc. as needed! If it has to do with the day-to-day for cats or dogs, it's all good with me! I do appreciate detailed instructions to make sure that I take the best possible care to follow the routines you already have in place with your pets :)

My friends , neighbors, and family have trusted me with their pets 🫶🏼 from dog walking, house check-ins, and over night stays I am currently looking for new work so I’ll have tons of time to give your fur babies during the day! There will be tons of time for walks and belly rubs Pets are always around me when I care for them to make sure they’re safe. My apartment is clean and tidy. They receive tons of play time, walks, and cuddles :)
