About: I may not have years of pet experience, but what I do have is a deep love for animals. I understand that life gets busy, and finding someone who loves your dogs as much as you do is important. That's why I'm here to provide reliable, attentive walks so you can have a peace of mind knowing your dog is in good hands. Personally, I love nature because it really grounds me. College has stressed me out, and I have found genuine, internal gratification in connecting with nature. Why am I on Rover? Combining my love for pups, love for nature, and my desire to bring my passions together to start an entrepreneurial journey brought me here to Rover. I am committed to giving your dog the best walk possible to help them be at their optimal health! Whether your pup needs an energy-burning adventure or a relaxed stroll, I'll make sure they feel safe, happy, and cared for. I'm a quick learner, great at following instructions and taking things into my own hands in case of mishaps, and always attentive to a pet's needs. Make your dog's day a little brighter, and a stress lifted off your shoulders-one walk at a time. As a student, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to fit in dog walks all day on weekends and throughout the day during weekdays. My availability is as follows: SAT- Available from 6AM-10PM SUN- Available from 6AM-10PM MON to FRI (EXCLUDING THURS)- Available from 6AM-12:15PM, 5:30PM-10PM THURS- available 5:30-10PM Your dog's safety and comfort are my top priorities. During walks, I will always keep a close eye on them, ensuring they stay on leash and away from any potential hazards. I can follow your instructions closely, whether it's sticking to a specific route, avoiding certain areas, or reinforcing good leash manners. I understand that every dog has unique needs, and I'll always make sure they feel secure, happy, and cared for while in my care. Please let me know any specific care instructions I should keep in mind :)

About: I was raised with two dogs and two cats and have never spent a day in my house without a pet there. I love animals it brings me joy to be around them but being a student in Boston was not feasible for me to have any pets so I am really glad something like rover exists. I generally understand how dogs and cats form relationships with humans and understand the patience and empathy it takes to get to know an animal. I am not a leash puller and know that dogs need exercise and long walks not just 5 minutes sessions to use the bathroom. I also understand that animals need company and mental stimulation. I could live the rest of my life on a farm with a bunch of animals and no humans and be happy lol. Love em I currently go to college but I have afternoons and weekends free to play and care for your babies. I have breaks in my day as well in case your doggies get lonely or need a walk! In my home we let the animals come and go as they please with the doggy door, but we try and take the dogs on a long walk once a day to keep em healthy. We feed them dry food in the morning and wet at night. I try and spend a lot of time with my pets to create a familiar bond with them.
About: I care for your beloved pets with consideration for their regular routines and familiarities so they feel the most comfort while you're away. By abiding by expectations outlined by you, and with effective communication, I keep your pets safe and happy. With a decade of experience with doggos, cats, I can walk, clean, feed, play, and tend to your furriest loved ones. I have an open schedule and prefer to spend as much time as I can to provide a safe presence and resource to your pets. I will not double book or plan other events that take me away for long periods of time during my time with your pet. I will do my best to respect the routines of your pets in your home to provide a seamless and comfortable transition while you're away. I know separation can be difficult, and I work within their safe environment to keep them happy.
“Caitlyn is an empathetic and trustworthy. I had a challenge to find someone to walk my 9 year old golden retriever on short notice and I reached out to Caitlyn. She was communicative and found a way to be there despite it being cold and snowy, for which I am very grateful for. It also helps that she showers a lot of pets to Pluto (my Golden retriever) and Pluto is very happy to see her.”

About: I’ve spent years caring for pets, have 2 dogs of my own so I am used to nice long walks or general pet care. I’m attentive, reliable, and treat every pet like my own! I’m a full time college student, but my schedule is very flexible. I am available during the days most weekdays and also on weekends. I can also be available in the evening and early morning. I am very responsible in caring for dogs within their own homes as well as while out on walks. I am confident in dealing with all types of animal behaviors.
“Owen has been great! I can tell our pup looks forward to seeing him. He provides feedback on the walk and even helps reinforce the training habits we’ve been working on implementing with our dog. It’s fun to see the photo updates from the walk he provides. 5 stars.”

About: My love for animals began in childhood in Puerto Rico—caring for my grandma’s chickens, bottle-feeding kittens, and cuddling with my first dog, Coby, a gentle Boxer. Over the years, I’ve cared for a variety of exotic animals including frogs, bunnies, hamsters, and birds. I have a natural bond with animals. My family adopted four Yorkshire Terriers and I was deeply involved in their daily care—feeding, walking, bathing, and playtime. I’ve also helped raise a litter of puppies. I also walked dogs through Wag! where I consistently earned 5-star reviews. I love spending time outdoors—walking, hiking, swimming, or biking—but I’m just as happy to relax and cuddle up with a furry friend. I’m flexible and available for house sitting, walks or drop-ins on weekdays and weekends. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet. I’m here to make the experience smooth and worry-free. I’ll gladly follow your pet’s routine and keep you updated with texts and photos during our time together. Let me know if there are any preferences or special instructions—I want your pet to feel safe, loved, and at home. I work in the morning- part time. I am flexible and can create a schedule that works for all of us. Let’s talk about it! I prioritize safety, trust, and comfort in every environment. Whether in my home or yours, I follow your pet’s routine closely, keep spaces secure, and provide plenty of care, attention, and updates. My goal is to make your pet feel safe, happy, and at home.
About: Hi, my name is Richard. I grew up taking care of my family’s pets, I love all types of animals but cats and dogs hold a special place in my heart and being around animals has always been second nature to me. I took a break from Rover this past year while I moved and focused on work, but I’m fully back now with an open to give your pets my full attention. I currently work from home, which gives me a very flexible schedule. That means I can give your pet the time, attention, and consistency they need throughout the day. I believe each animal deserves their own personal care and routine, whether it’s walks, playtime, or just relaxing together. With me, your pet will always feel safe, loved, and cared for like they’re part of my own family. I have a flexible career working from home. This means I’m always around to give pets the attention they need, whether that’s a morning walk, midday playtime, or just keeping them company throughout the day. Your pet won’t be left waiting for care. I build my schedule around making sure they feel happy and comfortable. I will care for your pet like it is my own. Whether it is in my home or yours I will ensure that they are comfortable, well loved, fed and played with.
About: I have lived with dogs since I was born, mostly larger breeds (German shepherd, golden retriever, huskies) and now have a cat too! Love animals! I work from 10am-5pm everyday but have most afternoons free and also can help out during the weekend! Can also pop by during lunch if it's a short enough distance! I have experience taking care of friends dogs, both crated and uncrated and can arrange for whatever is best in my apartment! My cat is also very dog friendly but can stay in a separate room if needed.
About: I am a 30-year-old living in the South End with flexible work hours (I work from home, and I'm a writer so hours are flexible), so I can take your dog for a walk whenever you need me to. I am responsible, kind, and athletic, and would love taking your dog on a walk through Boston Common, a dog park, or another location you'd prefer. Lastly, I am a previous pet owner myself -- growing up I had an incredibly energetic golden retriever dog, as well as a cat who lived 15 years. I also used to volunteer at the Ipswich Animal Shelter because I love all animals! I work a 9-to-5 job from home, but my role as a writer means I have limited meetings — so I have a lot of flexibility to take your pup for walks and play with him or her throughout the day. I follow the owner’s advice when it comes to how to make the animal feel safe and comfortable in my home. I ensure I am always aware of where the pup or cat is and watch them so they don’t get themselves into harm’s way, and I follow the animal’s lead when it comes to whether they want to be picked up or pet or whether they want space to explore a bit. I work full-time from home, and as a writer I have a flexible schedule to play and walk your pet throughout the day as well as on weekends. We have a safe apartment in the south end, and I always ensure anything potentially dangerous is off the floor before a pup comes over. I also make sure they have their own space in my apartment on a dog bed or blanket with toys so they feel safe and welcomed.
South End dog parents share their Rover experiences
Grace was wonderful with Zuni! She jumped right in to help with a last-minute request, was flexible with scheduling, and incredibly communicative throughout. Zuni clearly loved her and had such fun on their walks. Grace was always timely, attentive, and easy to coordinate with - we’d happily book with her again and highly recommend her!

Maddy is excellent! She has great communication and has made sure our dog is taken care of. After walks she has gone above and beyond by comforting our dog with extra ear scratches when he has been anxious. After her visits we have noticed that our dog is better behaved while walking which is an added bonus. I highly recommend booking with Maddy if you need a dog walker or sitter!

Kendall was super responsive to our last minute request and was so thoughtful with her questions during our meet and greet--very grateful she was available to help out. Everyone was safe and sound, would absolutely reach out to her again (hopefully with advanced notice 😂)
