“Cassidy was amazing! Was so helpful, even with my last minute requests. Made sure the dogs were well taken care of. As someone who has never left her dogs with anyone besides family, I felt comfortable and relieved to have someone trust worthy like Cassidy to help me out and take care of my pups! Thank you, Cassidy!”

“Jenica is a fantastic dog caretaker! She took our German Shepherd Justin for a nice 60-minute walk today while we were out of town. She was completely professional with strong communication, provided timely updates and even stopped by earlier in the week for a meet and greet. I highly recommend leaving your dog in such good hands!”

“Katie was prompt, communicated very well, took great care of Nellie and even made sure she wasn’t out in the heat too long. Would book again and highly recommend!”

About: I’ve grown up with dogs all my life. From medium sized dogs to small dogs. All dogs I’ve ever had and been around have always been drawn to me. I’m currently working full time and work from home during Mondays, Fridays being able to have my own schedule. I am also free on weekends. I will follow your instructions on how to care for your dog and will be respectful of your space when coming in and out to let out or dog and walk them.
About: I grew up with dogs that loved to play. I am a full believer in positive reward style training and bonding to create trust (crate training, potty training, etc). In the world of pet-sitting, some dogs need specialized attention to details and extra care/protection compared to their counterparts, but they can be just as loving and empathetic. My wife and I will make sure they're in an environment where they feel safe and nurtured while living their best life! Priority is for everyone to feel happy, comfortable, and safe. My wife and I alternate working remote from home to working in office, so we will coordinate one of us to be looking after your dog at our home while we work during the day. If preferable, we can also look after your dog in your home/housesit depending on location. We have a small shared fenced condo yard as well as easy walking distance to the local dog park near L Street Beach, and Joe Moakley park. My wife and I enjoy leisurely walks along Carson to M-street beach as well as to Castle Island. We will enjoy walking your dog as we love fresh air and the beach!
About: Feel free to request me outside of my availability. Will say yes if I can! Love dogs and going on walks during the day to get out of the office. Good to walk around the city or go to a local park and play ball. Experience with dogs since childhood and has owned dog. Owner of a puppy until senior death. I am currently working Monday - Friday full time along with another part time job. Looking to get out of the office and be a part of a dogs life again without owning one (my apt doesn’t allow them). Cannot keep pets in my apartment. More than happy to go to your home. Please leave notes for best/preferred care for animal if needed :)
“Julie was amazing. Excellent communication and promptness. I can tell she took great care of Nellie. Provided plenty of pictures and kept me updated along the way. Would book again!”

About: I grew up with a Goldendoodle and have always loved being around dogs. My two roommates and I also fostered two rescue dogs from Puerto Rico, and I realized how much I missed having dogs in my life. I live in South Boston and work in the Seaport, so I’m available for early morning walks, lunch breaks (most days), and anytime after 3 PM. I’m usually around on weekends too! Whether your dog needs a walk, to be fed, some company, or just someone to hang out with while you’re away, I’d be happy to help. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions or think I’d be a good fit for your pup! I am available for walks/visits early mornings and afternoons during the week, and I’m available for boarding and house sitting mostly on the weekends. I currently have two roommates, who I fostered dogs with so we are all dog lovers. I have a backyard with a fence that we used and worked perfectly with our foster dogs. I live up the road from a dog park (East 1st Street Dog Park, Metal of Honor Park, Castle Island). I also feel comfortable with walking dogs of all sizes.
“Owen has been great! I can tell our pup looks forward to seeing him. He provides feedback on the walk and even helps reinforce the training habits we’ve been working on implementing with our dog. It’s fun to see the photo updates from the walk he provides. 5 stars.”

About: I’ve taken care of all types of dogs for most of my life. I raised, trained, and took care of 2 very different dogs of my own starting 7 years ago. One of them is a rescue with his own specific needs and quirks so I am experienced with reactive and nervous dogs. I also have cared for many other people’s dogs. I’ve walked and care of senior dogs and helped with their unique care needs. I am attentive, responsible, and genuinely enjoy building bonds with the animals I care for. My goal is to make sure your pet feels safe, loved, and happy while you are away. I am currently a part time retail worker, so I have plenty of time and a flexible schedule for carrying for your animals. I am available for walks and in home visits everyday of the week, and I am flexible and easy to reach to set up the exact plan for your animals. I am very aware that each and every pet are very different. That’s why I am attentive and detail oriented in order to properly care for your pet in the way that it needs.
About: My name is Stephanie and I am a huge dog lover. I have three dogs at home. My dogs are my world! I have experience dog sitting. I have fostered a lab for around a year, as well as cared for friends dogs when they are not around. My friends trust me with their dogs and pets because they know how loving I am with animals. The reason why I am on this app is to seek out anyone who needs additional help walking or pet sitting! I would love to get to know your furry friends. I recently graduated from Roger Williams University, and started working at a company in Boston. Since I am working from home and have a lot of free time on my hands, I would love to be able to dog-sit or walk! Please feel free to reach out to me for any help or information/questions you may have! :) I have a flexible work schedule as well as free weekends. I am able to help out throughout the week, or if you need me on weekends! At home, my three dogs go on three walks and have the most love. When it comes to dogs, I have always known they need a good amount of exercise to be happy and healthy.
About: I am home full time most work days! Our dog, Bagel, has been getting a lot better with his separation anxiety but we’re definitely familiar with the struggles of not being able to leave your dog alone, so we’re happy to work with you to find a solution! We have experience giving pets medication, experience with picky eaters, and with dogs with separation anxiety. We can take medium sized dogs but don’t like to take dogs bigger than 60 pounds! This is flexible if your larger dog is relaxed and easy to walk. We also prefer low-moderate energy dogs as it is more difficult to take care of a high energy dog alongside our beagle. I have recently graduated from my grad program and am looking for work, so am home most days during the work week! Our schedule is more unpredictable on the weekends, but we’re happy to work with you to accommodate. We have an unfenced backyard and two long tether leashes so your dog can hang out in the yard (while supervised!). Dogs are welcome on our furniture but not on the bed. Our dog Bagel likes to just hang out on the couch. He has lots of puzzle feeders and enrichment toys and is happy to share!
“Liz is not only so sweet to our pups, she is beyond communicative, making sure to keep us updated about their daily walks, especially our senior girl who has a tough time walking. We can always count on her to take good care of our pups! Would recommend any day!”

About: I have experience living with 2 dogs for most of my life. They require both love and attention every day. I believe daily walks and outdoor activities are great for dogs to release some energy, get exercise, and become exposed to different surroundings! Dogs are very intelligent animals so with some patience and consistency, any dog can become a well trained and well behaved pet. Also, I really understand that each dog has its own personality, so it is important to be aware of this and cater to each dogs specific needs. I am really excited for the chance to provide quality care and attention to others’ dogs because I know that is what I would want for my own dogs. No better job than working with dogs.
About: Saying goodbye to my 15-year-old rescue last year was a true heartbreak, but it helped me realize that spending time with furry friends is healing. As many people say, “Grief is love with no place to go.” I’m looking for some dogs and cats to channel that love towards. I grew up around animals and started pet-sitting/dog walking in middle school, so I’m comfortable with all walks of animal life. As I’ve done with previous clients, I’ll love and care for your pet as my own❤️ I’m available for morning/mid-morning walks before 10:30am on Tuesdays and before 12pm on Thursdays. I’m super flexible on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, so please don’t hesitate to reach out! We will make it work! Your furry friend would be getting all my love and attention while we are together! I do not have any pets, so yours would be my sole focus.
About: I've taken care of dogs and cats of all different ages, personalities, and capabilities. I pay close attention to detail when it comes to medication, dietary restrictions, and feeding/walking times. I grew up with cousins who had many cats and dogs over the years, so I love spending time with animals! I'm currently applying for full-time jobs, so I'm available for short-term pet care exclusively! For drop-ins, I have lots of flexibility during the day to play, walk, and care for any needs your pet may have. For walks, my calendar availability reflects the dates and times I'm available. In their home, I care for clients' pets as they've instructed me to. I feed, walk, and administer medications at the times directed and text clients if anything comes up or if I have questions. I will spend lots of time playing with them as well!

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - South Boston
Nate has been a great dog walker for our dog, Sierra. He provides nice updates about the walks and it looks like Sierra is having a great time. He is easy to communicate with and responds quickly. I will be booking Nate again and I highly recommend him for your dog walking needs.

David is an excellent dog walker who I would recommend to anyone looking. He is courteous, professional and knows dogs well, and rather than just taking my dog on walks he mixes it up with fetch, dog parks and play time. He is always on time and very dependable.

Lauren was super friendly super cute, on time (annd even early!) and my dog loved her! She followed directions perfectly, made sure my dog had water spray to cool him down and freedom was very happy to see her again! Lauren has a bubbly personality that makes her especially fun to be around.. Trust 100% with my dog. Highly recommend her for your pet!

Julia was able to walk our dog twice over the weekend upon last minute notice. We just had a baby and needed our Maple walked, and Julia was so helpful in getting her exercised. She was mindful of the heat and our dog’s short snout and made sure to give her water and breaks in this summer weather. We’re so thankful.

Karley has such an enthusiasm with new dogs, my dog warmed up to her immediately on the first walk. My dog is not a “licker” but sure licked Karley in appreciation and happiness. In our our communications she was warm and very responsive and even offered help in finding someone on a day she couldn’t make it . It was a pleasure having her walk Freedom and I am extremely lucky she could do it . Most importantly , I trust her with my dog. I highly recommend her and will use her again.

Jenin is amazing!!! She is so warm and friendly my dog loved her right away!! We did a meet and great prior to our walks and Jenin was sure to ask about any allergies or medications my dog potentially needed. She then did an amazing job walking him and locking up our home after the walk! One day it was raining outside so she took the time to play with our pup to ensure he was stimulated for the day! I cannot say enough kind words about Jenin and Clyde, my pup, is excited for his next walking sessions with her!!
