“Tommy takes fantastic care of my dog during their daily walks! It’s great knowing my pup is in good hands, and Tommy always provides photos and updates. I highly recommend booking with this sitter!”

About: I provide dependable, high-touch pet care with a strong focus on safety, structure, and communication. With years of experience caring for dogs through personal, family, and friend settings, I’m comfortable with walks, feeding schedules, playtime, overnight stays, and keeping pets calm and happy in their normal routine. My hospitality management background means I bring a professional, service-first mindset to every booking, including timely updates and photo check-ins. Caring for pets fits seamlessly into my weekly routine because I intentionally build my schedule around being dependable and on time. I’m very organized and make sure each booking has dedicated time for walks, feeding, play, and updates so every pet receives focused attention and consistency. My routine allows me to provide reliable care throughout the week, including mornings, evenings, and flexible weekend availability. Safety, trust, and consistency are my top priorities in both my home and my client’s home. I take time to understand each pet’s routine, behavior, triggers, feeding schedule, exercise needs, and any special instructions before every booking so I can keep their environment as familiar and stress-free as possible. In a client’s home, I respect their space and carefully follow all routines exactly as requested, including walks, feeding times, medications, crate use, and house rules. I always double-check doors, leashes, gates, and entry points to ensure pets remain secure at all times. If caring for pets in my home, I maintain a clean, calm, pet-safe environment with plenty of supervision, fresh water, safe spaces to rest, and structured play and potty breaks. I avoid exposing pets to unsafe foods, objects, or stressful situations and make sure they are never left unattended in a way that could put them at risk. I also provide regular updates and photo check-ins so pet parents always know their pet is safe, happy, and receiving attentive care.
“Owen was friendly and dependable. We went on vacation and Owen was able to interface with my mother in law to walk our husky. I would recommend Owen to anyone and will use his services again in the future.”

“Mirabel is always so good with our dog! She’s highly reliable and clearly loves working with animals. Her constant communication is excellent as well. I’ll always recommend her!”

“My 11 year old blind, toothless and admittedly neurotic minpin has very strong “YOU’RE NOT MY MOM” energy. He has failed two dog walkers before Dave, seeing as they couldn’t even get him out of the house because he kept trying to nip their fingers with the few teeth he has left. After reading Dave’s reviews I decided to give it one more shot. Dave blew my mind when he sent me photos of Big Bear out and about, riding shot gun in the car, traipsing around the dog park. My beloved pain in the butt little dog won’t even let some of my FAMILY members take him out, more so since he’s gone completely blind. AMAZING. Highly recommend!”

“Loved having Channing take care of Betsy while we were away and it was great to come home to a well-walked, happy pup! Channing made fast friends with Betsy and took her on some great neighborhood walks. I loved getting the updates and pics of a happy Betsy after each visit.”

About: I've had dogs and cats my entire life, and often petsit for friends and family! As the mom of a reactive cattle dog, I have experience with training and managing reactivity on walks and at home. I am local and have a car, so I'm able to travel a little farther to take excellent care of your pets! I work remotely, so as long as your home has a reliable internet connection I can spend most or all of the day with your pet! My schedule is very flexible so I can easily take pets out for frequent potty breaks if needed, and/or take frequent play breaks to keep your pet happy and entertained. As a dog and cat owner in Boston, I am always very careful and mindful of opening/closing doors and windows to prevent fur babies from getting out when they're not supposed to. As a reactive dog mom, I'm also used to keeping a close eye out for potential triggers on walks.

About: I’ve been dog sitting for friends and family since 2020 and have experience caring for dogs of different breeds, sizes, and personalities. What sets me apart is how much I genuinely love spending time with animals! I’m very flexible, responsive, and always make sure pets feel comfortable, safe, and loved while their owners are away. Whether your dog loves long walks, playtime, cuddles, or just having someone around, I’m happy to adapt to their needs and give them lots of attention and care! I’m very comfortable caring for pets in clients’ homes and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for in their familiar environment. I’ve spent a lot of time dog sitting for friends and family and have always been a huge dog lover. I enjoy giving dogs plenty of attention, playtime, walks, and affection while respecting their individual routines and needs. I’m comfortable with dogs of all breeds, sizes, and energy levels, and I always prioritize safety, reliability, and communication with owners. Pet care fits very naturally into my routine. I recently graduated and have a very flexible schedule, which allows me to dedicate plenty of time and attention to the pets I care for. I love animals and enjoy being active, so walks, playtime, and spending quality time with pets are something I genuinely look forward to.

About: Hello, my name is Stacy and I’m 34 years old. I joined Rover because I love spending time with pets but I’m not in a position to have my own. Since having joined Rover, I’ve worked with reactive dogs, puppies a couple of weeks old, intact dogs and dogs having undergone surgery. I’ve also either pet sat or lived with Labrador Retrievers, Pugs, Poodles, Chihuahuas, Old English Bulldogs, Shih Tzus, Schnauzers, Irish Wolfhounds, Pitbulls, German Shepherds, Great Danes and others. This is aside from the cats, reptiles and tarantulas I’ve either sat for or interacted with. As of April 2026, my longest stay (over two weeks) has been for a dog with cancer. It’s been one of the most meaningful experiences of my life. I’m available to sit, do drop-ins and walks every day of the week. I’m a small business owner in a separate industry and grateful for the flexibility. I do not bring guests of any kind to client’s homes. It is fine if clients have service workers such as house cleaners entering the home, as long as I am made aware of the time of their arrival. I generally do not wear shoes in people’s houses and I always clean up after myself if staying for several hours or more. I may bring house slippers to wear inside based on the circumstances. I am slightly anemic so I ask that you keep your place at a reasonable temperature. You may also provide a few blankets.

“There’s truly no one else I would trust with my dog more than Michael. He’s kind, caring, and so thoughtful with Oliver. My dog absolutely adores him! you can tell they have the best time together. Michael always sends great updates and the sweetest pictures that make my day and give me peace of mind knowing my dog is in great hands. He’s incredibly reliable, always on time, and very responsive if I ever have any questions or last-minute schedule changes. I’ve been working with Michael for a long time now, and it’s been nothing but a wonderful experience. He really goes above and beyond! from drying Oliver after rainy walks to remembering little details about his routines and quirks. I honestly don’t know what we’d do without him. Highly, highly recommend!”

“AMAZING. If you need someone reliable and that goes beyond this is your sitter. She picked up my request last minute. Ann-Marie provide detailed reviews. She took out my girl to parks and different locations. I 100% recommended Ann-Marie and I will be rebooking with her when I need someone to watch Kilala.”

“Viktoriia is a wonderful and very caring dog walker! She walks my small shihtzu / yorkie every week. Viktoriia is always on time, incredibly thoughtful, goes the extra mile to make sure my dog is cared for and will always ask questions if she’s not sure about something. If you’re looking for a consistent and all round fantastic dog walker, Viktoriia is it! I can’t recommend her enough!”

About: Hi! I'm Lauren, a San Francisco native currently living in the Boston area while attending Wellesley College. As a lifelong dog owner and animal lover, I understand how important it is to find someone you can trust with your pet. Whether your dog loves long walks, outdoor adventures, or simply a consistent and caring companion, I'm committed to providing attentive, reliable care and plenty of tail wags along the way. I currently share my life with two very different pups: Jasper, my energetic 3-year-old Shiba Inu, and Bella, my senior Chihuahua, whom I've cared for since I was 12 years old. Caring for both has given me experience with a wide range of needs, from active walks, playtime, and enrichment to the extra patience, attention, and routine that senior dogs often require. I'm an active, dependable person who genuinely enjoys spending time with animals, whether that's exploring a local trail, playing in the yard, or providing calm companionship at home. Over the years, I've also dog sat for friends and family, caring for dogs with different personalities, energy levels, and routines. One thing that's especially important to me is communication. I know firsthand how much trust it takes to leave your dog in someone else's care, so I make it a priority to provide updates, photos, and peace of mind while you're away. My goal is always to make your dog feel safe, loved, and comfortable while giving you confidence that they're receiving the best possible care. I am currently working on my senior studio art thesis for my Bachelor's degree, so I am quite flexible with scheduling! I am also very active, so dog walking fits perfectly into my schedule and health routine. I believe the best pet care starts with understanding that every dog has their own routine, personality, and needs. Before caring for a pet, I like to learn about their schedule, exercise requirements, feeding routine, preferences, and any special instructions so I can provide consistent care and make the experience as comfortable as possible. When caring for pets in a client's home, I am respectful of both the pet's routine and the owner's space. I prioritize safety on walks, closely monitor pets during outdoor time, and make sure they always have access to fresh water, attention, and a calm environment. I am also highly communicative and provide regular updates and photos so owners can feel confident that their pet is happy and well cared for.

If you’re looking for a dependable and caring dog sitter, Cynthia is the one! She helped me out when I was in a tight scheduling situation and was able to fit me in on short notice. Milo was a little grumpy at first because he hadn’t seen her in a while, but Cynthia was patient, understanding, and somehow won him over. She handled everything with care and professionalism. She even came back the next day to walk Milo for me, which I greatly appreciated. I am so grateful for Cynthia’s services and the peace of mind she provided. She is reliable, kind, and truly cares about the pets she works with. I will absolutely continue to use her services in the future. Highly recommend! 😘

I the MOST wonderful experience with Kaylee. She was amazing, highly communicative, and truly went above and beyond in caring for my dog who struggles with separation anxiety. She was attentive, patient, and proactive in managing my dog’s needs which gave me a lot of peace of mind while I was away. She was a true lifesaver. I would highly recommend Kaylee to anyone looking for a reliable and caring sitter. I would have loved to continue working with her long term if she wasn’t moving to a different state, and I would do so in a heartbeat.

Pebbles was in great hands the entire weekend I was away. The communication was excellent - I got regular updates and always felt in the loop. His routines were followed perfectly, making the whole thing stress-free. Will definitely be booking again and highly recommend! Thanks, Elliot!

Kira was amazing! She helped me out on very short notice, and I couldn’t be more grateful. It was a hot day, and she made sure Bebe was comfortable and okay before leaving my house. I highly recommend her, and I’ll definitely be reaching out again whenever I need someone to walk Bebe! 🐾

Maddy was amazing! She was so sweet and gentle with our nervous dog. Arrived on time, took him to all his favorite spots, and sent lots of pictures. Her communication was great throughout! We felt so relaxed knowing she was taking care of our dog! Absolutely will ask her to come by again!
