“Michael is very responsive, flexible and dedicated. He gives me regular update and takes dog walking to the next level. You can tell that he enjoys it. I’m a repeat client ;)”

“Jude has been such a wonderful help. She is very dependable, always on time, and amazing with our dog. She is lovely, respectful and great to communicate with. We highly recommend Jude for anyone looking for help with their pets!”

About: I’ve taken care of multiple types of animals and pets through sitting, volunteering at the humane society, and working at a petting zoo. I am an animal lover myself who is excited to interact with your pet and give them the love and care they need! I grew up with lots of pets and am loving spending time with everyone’s pets. I just moved to Boston and I miss my two cats and two dogs that are on the other side of the country. Would love the opportunity to share my love with your pets :) I’m currently doing school at nights twice a week so I have plenty of time to care for your pet. Available any day as needed! Send me a message and we can find a time that works best. I am able to spend time with your pet while being respectful of your space, knowing that animals thrive in an environment they are used to.
About: Pet sitting was my first job at 13 years old—and I’ve yet to find another job I’ve enjoyed quite as much! Over the years, I’ve cared for corgis, pit bulls, border collies, Rottweiler puppies, and plenty of other dogs, as well as cats. Most recently, I’ve walked my friend’s small pup, Hartsie, and provided overnight care for two cats. I’ve seen just about everything: dogs who decide to take an unexpected swim in the pool and dogs who absolutely refuse to cross the street unless you carry them. These experiences have taught me to stay calm, think on my feet, and adapt to each animal’s unique personality. I’m confident in my ability to roll with the punches, get to know your pet, and provide the kind of attentive, reliable care that gives owners peace of mind. I currently work from home so my schedule is very flexible. If you want someone to come walk your dog in the mornings or afternoon, I'm your girl! I will make sure to leave your home as I found it and leave your pet happier too. While I'm in your home, I'm willing to adhere to your medication schedules or even sit with your dog for an hour or two for some pets. Let me know how I can benefit you and your pet and I will do my best do meet your needs.
“My husband and I have had the absolute best experience working with Alyssa over the last year and a half. We are moving out of the city soon, or else we’d have her watch and walk our dog as long as possible!! Alyssa was incredibly caring with our pup Marvin, who has always been very anxious. He adored Alyssa soon after walks started, which was a huge relief as we both returned to office. For anyone who is in need of a wonderful, trustworthy, and thoughtful dog walker / watcher, Alyssa should be your first choice. THANK YOU, Alyssa! ❤️”

About: I've always had a dog growing up, lived with cats for many years, and have been house sitting for four years in many states across the US! I don't have any pets, children, plants, etc. to take care of that are my own - so very available for other peoples pets! Outside of pet sitting, I am a Clinical Psychology PhD Student at Suffolk University. I have class all day Monday, but am flexible Tuesday through Friday. *Disclaimer: I do not currently own a car! In the clients home, I always respect the space and am sure to leave the space cleaner than I found it, but open to client preferences with what to clean versus leave be 😊
“Chad was great! They met our dog Clover on the same day as they had their first walk and she was immediately at ease. She can sometimes be skiddish and wary of new people and situations, but she loved Chad right away. We love that Chad lives close and will take Clover on walks to the Boston Commons to see all the flowers and people watch. She's more of a human than a dog, in my opinion, and she really loves time with her trusted people just chilling in the sun. Thanks so much for being her new friend, Chad!”

“Piper is literally the best and knows/loves all things dog! I can’t already tell that we are lucky to have our paths cross with her and can’t wait to work together more in the future!”

“Caleigh was great - prompt, energetic, down to earth, and attentive. From day one to day four, my golden retriever, Waffles, was increasingly expressive when greeting her, wagging his tail faster and faster. I would be happy to hire Caleigh the next time we have need.”

About: Energetic, motivated, hardworking graduate student seeking pet-sitting work. I take 1+ hour walks throughout the city on a daily basis, and would love to include a dog! I have 13 years of pet care experience from my dog (yellow Labrador retriever) who recently passed at 13. I have a flexible schedule as the majority of my work is online/ self-paced! I am currently a graduate student. My schedule is very flexible and self-paced (with the exception of Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, where I am only available in the evenings.) Weekends, Tuesdays, and Fridays I am very available and would love to include a dog on my daily walks! In a clients home, I feel confident using any care resources available for the pet. Whether that is crating, bedding, edible treats/reinforcements, fenced yards, etc.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Central
Haowen was great! He took my dog for a walk 3 times while my husband and I were away and our dog sitter was going to be away for long hours. He took many pictures, allowed our dog to go on a “sniffari” and made us feel reassured that he was taken care of while we were away from him.

Sarah took really great care of my dog this week especially on short notice. She went the extra mile making sure she had the chance to finish her food after my stubborn pup refused to eat her breakfast with me. Sarah even cleaned up my dog’s water bowl after I had spilled it on my way out one morning, all without asking. My dog and I both highly recommend her!

Christianna was very patient with Ritchie, who can be shy and nervous with new people. She gave him the time he needed to feel comfortable and kept me updated on how everything went. She was responsive, communicative, and thoughtful throughout the process. I really appreciated her patience with him!
