“Amy has been walking our Boston Terrier puppy for some time now - always reliable, always punctual, always sweet and caring with Poppy. Yesterday, she also saved Poppy's life. She arrived to walk her, and before long, she noticed something was wrong. Poppy must have been stung by an insect while I played with her outdoors before work - when Amy arrived, she noted Poppy had a spreading rash, facial swelling, and nausea/diarrhea. It would have taken me a while to leave work, so although she had another dog to walk and then was due at her own work, Amy jumped in her car with Poppy and drove her to the vet hospital, where the vet who called told me Poppy was in the beginning stages of shock. They were able to resuscitate her successfully but had been doubtful at the beginning. Without Amy's selflessness and quick action, Poppy would never have made it until we came home from work. We are eternally grateful.”

About: I've always had a dog growing up, lived with cats for many years, and have been house sitting for four years in many states across the US! I don't have any pets, children, plants, etc. to take care of that are my own - so very available for other peoples pets! Outside of pet sitting, I am a Clinical Psychology PhD Student at Suffolk University. I have class all day Monday, but am flexible Tuesday through Friday. *Disclaimer: I do not currently own a car! In the clients home, I always respect the space and am sure to leave the space cleaner than I found it, but open to client preferences with what to clean versus leave be 😊

About: I have been around all sizes of animals, and have had animals around since I was a baby. All animals are welcome ! ! ! I just moved to Boston and what better way to stay busy and see the city than being around animals!! I also just enjoy being around them I currently have a guniea pig who gets to roam around whenever I’m upstairs for a long period of time so I wouldn’t be comfortable bringing animals into my house and I also have an apartment so not a lot of space for bigger animals to be comfortable and fun around. walkers on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement walker.
