About: I’ve cared for dogs and pets for friends, family, and neighbors for years and genuinely love spending time with animals. I’m responsible, attentive, and comfortable with feeding, walks, playtime, check-ins, and keeping pets on their normal routines. I’m active and happy to give energetic dogs plenty of exercise, but I’m just as happy hanging out with pets who prefer cuddles and a relaxed day. I’ll treat your pet like my own and make sure you feel comfortable and updated while you’re away! My schedule is currently very flexible, which gives me plenty of time to care for your pets and work around their normal routine. I’m available for walks, drop-in visits, and pet sitting throughout the week and on weekends, including mornings, afternoons, and evenings. I always make your pet’s safety and comfort my priority. I’ll follow your instructions closely, keep their feeding, walking, and medication routines consistent, and make sure your home is left exactly as I found it. I’m also happy to send regular photos and updates so you know your pet is happy, safe, and well cared for.
“Xianxin was great! Our dog is a special needs dog who requires a strict medicine regimen and attentive care due to his age and medical condition. Xianxin took great care of him, communicated well, and was timely! We would definitely recommend her.”

“Jennifer was absolutely wonderful walking my dog and a friends dog. She was responsive, reliable and provided many cute pictures! I could not recommend her more and will definitely use her again for my walking needs!”

About: I love all types of dogs! I have been around dogs my whole life! My family and I rescued my pit bull mix From the animal shelter and named him Tucker 3 years ago. He is such a great dog. I love running around with him in my backyard and taking care of him! I also used to watch my aunts dogs for her all the time throughout my life! I used to go to her house and let them out after school. I also used to dog sit for her when she went on vacation. A lot of my friends and family have dogs that I am around all the time as well! I have been around all sizes of dogs such as terriers, labs, pit bulls, golden doodles, shih tzu’s and many more! I am currently working full-time so I am available after 3pm but with the summer coming up I am working part-time so I will be available in the early mornings and late afternoons. I have a dog of my own who I have taken care of for 5 years now. I will provide your dog with a long walk and the proper care and love they need.
About: What sets me apart is my patience, reliability, and real experience caring for animals of my own. I have hands-on experience with my bunny and with my first dog, a leash-reactive beagle named Roger, which has taught me calm handling, awareness, and consistency, especially as a pre-vet student currently taking biology and chemistry. During the week, I prioritize my classes and coursework first, then make time to walk and care for Roger, a dog I regularly walk on campus. I’m also committed to my rowing schedule, which keeps me structured and reliable with my time. On weekends when I’m home, I’m available for additional walks and pet care. This routine helps me stay consistent, responsible, and dependable with animals. For dog walking, I always follow the owner’s instructions exactly and prioritize safety at all times. I double-check leashes, harnesses, and collars before every walk, avoid unsafe areas or distractions, and stay alert to my surroundings. I make sure dogs have water before and after walks and return them calmly and securely to their home. Even though I’m new to professional dog walking, I’m very dependable, attentive, and always communicate clearly with owners.
About: I’ve cared for dogs of all breeds and sizes since I was 10. Friends, family, and neighbors trust me to walk, feed, bathe, and love their pets like my own. I’m experienced with puppies, senior dogs, and high-energy pets, and I’m always reliable and communicative. Pet care easily fits into my daily and weekly routine. I offer daytime services like drop-ins, walks, and playtime, and I plan my schedule around the pets I care for. I’m dependable, flexible, and make sure each visit is focused, fun, and tailored to the pet’s needs—whether that’s a long walk, feeding, or some one-on-one attention. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or theirs, I make sure they feel safe, loved, and comfortable. I stick closely to their usual routines—meal times, potty breaks, walks, and playtime—to reduce stress while their owners are away. I always follow any specific instructions, from medications to feeding preferences, and I give regular updates and photos to keep pet parents in the loop. I’m clean, respectful of the home, and make sure every pet feels at ease while in my care.
“I recently had the pleasure of entrusting my male Jack Russell Terrier to Rob through the Rover app, and I couldn't be more thrilled with the experience. My dog is not the easiest to handle, yet Rob took on the challenge with remarkable patience and skill. Over the course of five days, Rob ensured that my pup received ample exercise, taking him out twice daily for 30-minute walks around the neighborhood each morning and afternoon. This consistent routine and Rob's attentive care made a world of difference for my high-energy dog. Rob's dedication and professionalism truly stand out. He demonstrated a genuine affection for my dog and went above and beyond to meet his needs. I have complete confidence in Rob's abilities and will undoubtedly seek his services again in the future. If you are looking for a reliable, compassionate, and highly capable pet caregiver, I give Rob my highest recommendation. He is simply outstanding!”

About: I’ve been an owner and cared for pets from a very young age. My first ‘jobs’ as a young kid were walking family members’ dogs and pet sitting for them. Since then I’ve loved doing this for friends and hoping to do more! I am looking to house sit and do drop-in care, but not currently looking to host pets in my space as I have 3 cats and my landlord does not allow dogs in the apartment. I'm currently working full time on a hybrid schedule. I go to the office 3 days a week and the other two days are spent at home when I am remote. On the weekends, my schedule is mostly flexible unless I have plans to attend to. I am a loving pet owner who is very attentive to my pets’ needs. I am happy to meet all of your pet care needs, as dictated by you. I am looking to house sit and do drop-in care, but not currently looking to host pets in my space as I have 3 cats and my landlord does not allow dogs in the apartment.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Winthrop
Ngoc consistently goes above and beyond to make sure Matilda is well cared for. She is reliable, a great communicator, and clearly has a lot of experience. This was my first Rover experience and I am so grateful to have found Ngoc and booked her on a regular basis!

We had an emergency and needed a last minute walk on a Saturday afternoon. Britney replied right away and was flexible and very communicative. She was great with our pups and I felt that I could trust her. One of our dogs has been reactive on the leash lately and she was confident it wouldn’t be a problem for her. Would totally recommend and have her again!

Linzi was very communicative and friendly which we love. We needed a last minute walk, same day and she replied right away. She had great reviews and did not disappoint. There was even some accidents in the house and she was very kind to clean it up when she arrived. We would love to have her again!

Alicia is a superstar dog walker and we highly recommend her without any reservations. She meets the dogs at their level including running with our high energy labradoodle and cuddling/carrying our little Shih Tzu. They felt so much love and attention from Alicia. We appreciate you so much!

We had such a wonderful experience with Jennifer. She took amazing care of our dog and was so thoughtful and attentive the entire time. You can really tell how much she cares about the animals she works with. I especially appreciated all of the updates and pictures. they made us feel so relaxed and reassured knowing Pancakes was in such good hands. Our dog clearly loved her, and it meant so much to know she was being cared for by someone so kind and compassionate. We’re incredibly grateful and would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for trustworthy, loving care for their pet!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
