Safety, trust & environment
I prioritize safety. I never take dogs off leash in unfenced areas as even well-trained dogs can react differently to new people. Several of my clients are cremated when no human is with them, but I’m also happy to work with you on figuring out how to give them more space to roam and keep them and your home safe.
Information Elizabeth B. would like to know about your pet
Let me know if your dog has any allergies or chronic medical issues. I usually bring treats but will refrain or stick to your treats if there are any diet restrictions. Also let me know if they like to say hello to other animals/humans or are more introverted/guarded.
A typical day
I love letting dogs get to sniff as much as they want as that’s a huge source of mental stimulation for them. I also love to play fetch and tug of war and just give lots of extra snuggles for lower energy or more affectionate animals.

Pet care experience
I have experience with dogs of a variety of sizes and temperaments. From large anxious dogs to tenacious small dogs to laid back medium sized pups, I love them all and am happy to make sure they're happy. I love hanging out with and showering any dog with affection or having a game of fetch or taking a long walk to tire them out. I'm happy to provide whatever your dog needs to be their pawsome self. While I love dogs of any age and am currently working with several puppies, I’ve recently completed my companion animal death doula training through the University of Vermont and am happy to discuss related resources with parents of any ill or aging pets, or very proactive parents of healthy young pets who’d like to come up with advance care plans long before they are needed.
Reviews

Elizabeth did a wonderful job caring for my three cats while I was away. They were given lots of attention and were well cared for. Elizabeth was professional, flexible, and genuinely enjoyed caring for my cats.

Great as always! Really appreciate how attentive Elizabeth is with our kitties, thank you!

Elizabeth did a great job watching our three cats. She was very patient with their different personalities and a huge help managing the specific medication routine for one of our kitties. We appreciated the consistent updates and photos she sent after each visit. The cats were clearly comfortable with her, and we would be happy to book her again!

Elizabeth is great - on time and easy to work with. Would recommend!
