“Alexandra has been so incredibly helpful in walking Linus a couple days a week for me! She keeps me updated at all times and Linus is very comfortable with her. I’m so grateful for her service!”

“Nancy stepped in with short notice to cover for my usual dog walker. She was very responsive and even made time for a meet and greet with my pup before the scheduled week of dog walking. She checked in daily, sent pics and was super detailed in her describing her outings and play with my good boy. I highly recommend Nancy and will definitely be booking with her again.”

“Angelina was great with our dogs and I was nervous at first because of our breed of the 2 dogs and the size of our bigger dog most people are afraid of pits or are not to fond of them but she handled it very well. Did everything she was supposed to plus more. She was super kind and patient and our dogs loved her instantly. She provided great communication also. I wouldn’t know what we would have done without her while we were out of town but she gave me some relief. This was my first time and experience with the app and I loved it. I would rebook Angelina if I ever need assistance with Brick and Yola again. No matter the height or weight of a dog it didn’t scare her off , nor the excessive barking at times and the fact they love to jump on people lol. She was genuine and loved every moment from my understanding.”

About: I have experience taking care of family members/neighbors dogs. I’ve built a relationship with the dogs and the families, and have done overnights with pets as well as check ins with walks. I am very free at the moment, currently looking for work yet still need some income during this time. As of right now my schedule is very open and accommodating I prefer to be at clients houses so I don’t disrupt the animals’ daily life. I believe it’s best to keep them comfortable in a comfortable environment. If you prefer to have me take the pet or don’t want me in your home, please let me know asap and we can hopefully work something out.

“Amazing experience!! Took Sadie for a much longer walk (thank you soooo much). Did a group walk w/ two other dogs which is great for her to socialize since she thinks she’s queen bee. She’s certainly going to sleep well tonight! Thanks again :)”

“Although our schedules didn't match to do a meet and greet beforehand, Kathleen was reliable and right on time to walk our puppy. She left fantastic notes and pictures in Rover for us, and we know our pup had a fantastic time with her. Her communication is excellent, and we would/will happily use her again!”

About: I have had a family dog in my life ever since I was born. My first dog lived to be 15 and he lost the ability to use his legs around the age of 9. We took care of him by giving him medication, carrying him in and outside of the house, and even purchasing a wheelchair for him to be able to go on walks again. I was 16 when this was happening and played a huge role in taking care of him. We had another dog throughout this time and were responsible for feeding, bathing, and walking both dogs. I now have one dog who I walk regularly and take on hikes. I have dog-sat for both neighbors' and family's dogs and cats since I was 15. I am currently starting a part-time position and will have more available during weekdays to spend time with your sweet pets! I tend to have few obligations on the weekends, as well. I have two friendly dogs who live at my house, one that I just adopted as my own puppy to take care. We have a very large yard that he runs around in with an electric fence. However, we do have a long run that is tied to a tree in the middle of my yard. I would prefer to take care of pets in my clients' homes in order to make the pet and owners feel the safest.
South Dorchester dog parents share their Rover experiences
Nancy stepped in with short notice to cover for my usual dog walker. She was very responsive and even made time for a meet and greet with my pup before the scheduled week of dog walking. She checked in daily, sent pics and was super detailed in her describing her outings and play with my good boy. I highly recommend Nancy and will definitely be booking with her again.

Autumn is reliable, responsive and easy to work with. I left my dog Fitz with my mother in law for over a week while I was away. Autumn coordinated directly with MIL and was always on time to take Fitz on walks. She’s also great at documenting walks with photos - couldn't ask for better, thanks Autumn!
Leander was very on time and communicative. We have a very high energy pup that can get overwhelmed on walks and he has been extremely patient with her! He has been very receptive and understanding of Mia’s needs and I would highly recommend him to anyone looking to wear their pups out while they are at work!

Trisha is incredibly reliable, responsible and organized! We love trusting her with our dog! She’s wonderful all around and her reports are timely and detailed. Extremely happy with her service. We’ve booked her twice so far and very pleased with her professionalism.
